If you are relying on the power grid, water service, gas service, you are not ready.
If you are relying on a local food store, you are not ready.
If you are relying on family, friends, local charities, you are not ready.
If you are still living in a city, you are not ready.
If you do not now have a supply of water and non-perishable food and a way to cook it, you are not ready.
If you are relying on any government, you are not ready and very foolish.
If you do not do your part and then put it in God's hands, you and your family face pain, hunger, and possible death.
If you rely on the above you are easily deceived.

It will be wonderful for those who are raptured, but not everyone will be and if you aren't you will certainly appreciate it if you heeded the warnings and prepared.

Even if you know all mysteries and are convinced that you will be one of the select few to be raptured, your loved ones will appreciate it if you prepared for their sakes.

The only way I can reconcile Matthew 24:42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. with Revelation 3:3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.

Is that the Lord has not told us in the NT what hour He is coming, but if we are diligent to watch then we will not be caught by surprise and may know the day and the hour. In other words I may be going on a long business trip of several years. What is the day and hour that you will return? I don't know and can't tell you right now. But that doesn't mean that I won't tell you two weeks ahead of time when I buy the tickets. I would say that we had three different warnings recently that it would be this year (ending Sept 25th) and now it seems we have been given another warning that it will be this weekend. The only people getting these warnings are those who are watching diligently. Ken Potter, Vicki Goforth Parnell, Dana Coverstone, etc.

I have always felt that Revelation 3:3 meant we would be given a heads up, and no doubt if you can't put all the puzzle pieces together solely from the Bible then it must include dreams and visions. But who do you believe? That is why I think we have had several years to determine where the reliable word from the Lord is coming.

What makes you think that my loved ones won't also be raptured? When the rapture occurs those remaining will suffer and die regardless of any preparations they may have made.

So, according to you, the best thing is to live in a cave near water by yourself and forage for food to cook over an open fire?

I have no idea who you are or who your loved ones are.

What I do know is that the types and shadows and clear word suggest it will be a small fraction of those who proclaim to be Christian.

1. Out of the twelve spies who spied out the land only 2 made it into the land.

2. Out of all those who left Egypt only two who were over 20 made it into the land.

3. In Revelation 2-3 only one of the seven churches has the promise of being kept out of the hour of trial that is to come on the whole earth.

After talking about the rapture with one being taken and one left the Lord then gave three stories to describe the selection process.

1. You would have evil servants in the Lord's house (church) who were beating their fellow servants and eating and drinking with the drunken. In this story one is evil and one is good.

2. The next story is of the ten virgins, five have vessels filled with oil, and five were foolish and the Lord says "I never knew you".

3. The final story is about the Lord reckoning with his servants, two had invested the talents He gave them and were profitable, one had buried it in the backyard.

If we begin with 12 who claim to be Christian, half of them are not taken. Then of those six that make it through the first criteria, half of those don't have a personal relationship with the Lord. Then of the three that are left only two have a ministry where they are actively sharing their talent from the Lord to get him a return on his investment. Again, that works out to 2 out of 12.

Now if you and your loved ones live in America recent polls show that 22% of Americans go to church every week. If half of them make it through the first criteria that is 11%. If half of them have a personal relationship with the Lord that is 5.5%. If two thirds of them are actively involved in ministry that is 3.6%. It would be very unusual for anyone to have 100% of their loved ones get raptured unless they have very, very few loved ones. The odds are for every 20 people you know less than 5 will be raptured. How do you know if you are ready for the rapture?

There are three criteria you must meet.

1. Matthew 24:43-51

45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? 46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

This first verse describes how you behave in church. You have wicked servants who beat the other servants and eat and drink with the drunken. If that is your case you will not be ready for the rapture. However, if you are watching for the Lord's return which most who visit this blog probably are and if you are fellowshipping with others the things you are seeing then you are probably the faithful and wise servant mentioned here. This is the first test.

2. Matthew 25:1-13

11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. 12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. 13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

You have to have a relationship with the Lord and if you do have a relationship your vessel will be filled with oil. Maybe He shone light on a verse, maybe you have some testimony of answered prayer, or other ways in which the Lord has moved in your life. You cannot have church be the sum total of your Christian life, you must be spending time on a daily basis with the Lord. Believe it or not this represents only one fourth of those who claim to be Christians. But there is still one more criteria you must meet.

3. Matthew 25:14-30

19 After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them. 20 And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more. 21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

You have to have a ministry. You need to share what the Lord has given you. It doesn't mean you are Billy Graham, or some other 5 talented member bringing thousands to the Lord. But surely you have brought some people to the Lord, surely you have shared your testimony with many others and not buried it in your back yard. Believe it or not, but only two thirds of those who have a close personal relationship with the Lord will actually have a public testimony where they are actively investing the talent the Lord gave them so that the Lord could have a profit when He returns.

I believe this is an erroneous interpretation of those parables.

I didn't see where he said anything about living in a cave. Also I don't think he is talking about foraging for food though he may be looking to supplement his diet that way, but also I didn't pick up the "open fire" from his post either. However, he might have a Franklin stove, so I suppose it would be good to ask for some clarification on this.

We will see, sooner than many expect.

I think everyone can agree on certain things.

1. The Lord charged everyone of us to watch for His coming.

2. When He comes you want to be found faithful. It would be a shame to be found eating and drinking with the drunken while beating up on faithful Christians.

3. You certainly don't want to be in a situation where you are low on oil or where the Lord would say "I never knew you".

4. The Lord has given every believer talents to invest, not to bury.

The numbers are obviously a complete guess, but it is hard to believe that someone who does not go to church will be raptured, or someone who does not spend time with the Lord every day.

The stock market reveals how corrupt these elites are.

The Stock market is falling, but it is slowly, orderly, and why is that? Steve Cortez, Burry, and many others are telling people that the stock market will fall another 50%. These are the most credible analysts out there. You can be sure the elites know this and that is why they are moving their assets to land, to houses and building bunkers.

But these same elites control pensions, 401k funds and retirement accounts. Those people put it there and forget about it. They don't want to sell their holdings because if they did that it would be harder if not impossible for them to liquidate their own holdings. Is this a violation of their fiduciary responsibility, yes, but no one cares.

This is like seeing a fire in a movie theater and saying let's get out of here quietly without starting a panic. It is also like the captain of a ship knowing the ship is sinking and going to the lifeboats and getting on first with his crew.

When I invest I want to watch the money flow over a 5 year period. That is where you can see what the big money is doing. The way I look at it buying and selling is like gravity. If everyone is selling then the price must go down and if everyone is buying the price must go up.

This graph is the Dow over the last 5 years. The green line is money flow. You can see that buying was at a peak when the price was 26,000 back in 2018. Since then they have been selling as the price rises to over 35,000. If you drop from 35,000 to 25,000 you do not necessarily stop at 25,000. The same ones selling to the fools who bought this with their mutual funds in their 401k will panic sell, simple technical trading says this could easily go to 20,000. Often that first plunge down about 5,000 to around 31,000 is the halfway point. But if anything adds to the collapse it can go further.

I made no such statement nor did I suggest that.
This thread is about a coming depression and being prepared.
If you continue to depend on that weekly pay check, the local Walmart, or a government handout, if they are no longer there, you and your family will suffer if you have not planned ahead and prepared as best you can.
Most large cities are not safe to live in now, and will become even more so if depression comes.
If your power goes down, How will you prepare your food?
I have a camp stove and propane. I have extra food and water stored just in case.
I choose to live in the country, in a warm, dry house that is powered by solar.
If it be the Lord's will, I will survive the storm.
I have prepared as best can, and placed my future in His hands.
Just my opinion, but to not prepare is asking for pain and suffering.
