In no way do I mean to be argumentative with your post... But have you seen what has been happening in other states to include but not limited to Paris, London and and and.... I agree as I am sure others do also with respect to what happened to George Floyd it was appalling yet what happened afterward and continues to happen, for heaven sake is anything but peaceful.

Seattle has blocked off 6 blocks (which includes the police station) and has a sign "Now leaving the U.S.A." per these people they are establishing their own state, previously named CHAZ now I think the name has been changed. I must disagree with how peaceful these protests are. Just my opinion.

Some protests have been peaceful and some haven't.
But I think we all knew riots were coming when a police officer can feel brazen enough to choke a man to death as nonchalantly as drinking a cup of coffee

Penn: Nor do I characterize ANYONE by the color of their skin whether Christian or Non-Christian. I am Christian which I feel I must mention here because you were specific No Christian should characterize brothers and sisters by the color of their skin (emphasis on Christian) I assume you meant "No one should" not meaning to limit your statement to Christians only. I say this because all too often my brain works quicker then my fingers If this is incorrect please let me know.

On the issue of the post (the sheep) After I read it I wondered if this individual was just getting fed up with hearing "Black Lives Matter" I don't know for sure, obviously, it was just a thought I had after I read the post.

(if anyone cares to know) why I use the phrase "all lives matter"?
because I was saying this LONG before the saying "Black lives matter" ever became a thing.
I was saying this almost 20 years ago when I was a pre-teen/teen and learning what abortion is.
I was saying this when a teacher in middle school gave the assignment to do a family tree and I was learning my family roots go back to Native American tribes and also Jewish roots.
But the world hasn't thrown itself into chaos over those lost lives..........
the Bible makes clear what things will start taking place as we near end times........
why are the "Christians" so surprised by all this, let alone allowing themselves to be so caught up in it?
Last I checked it said:
FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD........
NOT "God only loved this race or that color"
GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD.........

Problem is that the people experiencing racism are minorities. Minorities don’t have a voice as good as the majority.

The majority doesn’t experience racism and is therefore more likely to be in denial of the existence of racism.

The biggest problem, though, is that the majority won’t even listen to what the minorities are saying.

I'm going to take a breath here and step back a minute. I will admit, I feel/felt ganged up on from the time that I began posting. I think the man meant per his last statement. That he felt because of the shooting(s) that black lives were in danger and that people should help and get to the root of the matter. Not that black people were lost and sinful sheep who are behaving carnally.

It seems like the opinions of blacks here seem to always be the lowest and the worst. Just like many here say that all whites are not bad neither are all blacks. Never a positive word or extension of kindness. I was even called HoneyDUNG. Really animal excrement? I might not be welcomed here and that's fine but I won't back down from the problem of police brutality and excessive force. My god daughter is white for the record and has her own bedroom in my home. I wasn't raised to dislike people for how they look and it makes my teeth itch when people do. I think I better stop here. From what I can see noone here cares or is willing to listen. All men were created but they are not equal in some folks eyes.

I'm writing from Australia and was only referring to the protest in the article I cited. It seems to have been done in a Christian manner. We are praying for America and its people.

I’m a police officer and it’s true that law enforcement needs reforms. We haven’t been doing our job good enough, and it’s our responsibility to not make “Protect and Serve” sound hollow.

Furthermore, it’s also true that African Americans are not treated well here. Same goes for other minorities. It’s always the majority that counts here.

Yes, from the outside it’s pretty clear that you are being ganged up on. That happens every time someone is speaking up for any kind of minority. Pretty ugly, really, and makes me think of fake accounts and bots.

Did you see where the news woman got in trouble for telling a woman she'd be going back to picking cotton or something, not sure it was so stupid , I think they are both black .. My mothers family picked cotton in the 1920-30's for a penny a pound .. Why would something like that even be front page news ? LOL .. I worked in tobacco some in the late 60's and it was no pic-nic either but you could make spending money and get lunch ..

I think the meaning to the post(one you quoted) is that when the #"blacklivesmatter" began, (George Zimmerman/Travon Martian) it was counter argued by "all lives matter" and so there are the many arguments over it. It's interestingly disturbing to note that in 2020 1 in 200 people are in "Modern day slavery" in the world.

We live in a world where most of the goods we buy were outsourced to many nations where modern slavery exist(China,India,South Africa ect.) and so we have no Idea of the amount of "cheap goods" as we call them are being made or by whom. In China for instance they have both traditional slavery where slaves are sold,kidnapped ect. and it's police make arrest and under their penal system many are used as slave labor https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Penal_system_in_China ...

If we remember when covid-19 began ppe's were the big issue and Trump redirected ships loaded with n95 mask headed to other nations to the USA. So the companies are in the US but they are manufactured in China. I find it odd that on https://www.foxnews.com/auto/bubba-wallace-blacklivesmatter-martinsville-nascar is both 3M on the front and the BLM on the back because of this. I am not meaning this as an attack against Bubba Wallace and wish him well in both life and his career I think it is done without knowledge of who some of items are manufactured by when outsourced by those sponsors.

There are many things to consider that are involved in the institution of slavery in the modern world and who endorses it. Where is Nike manufactured and Adidas and who advertises for them? Again I think that the athletes do this without knowledge of who the actual laborer was.

We go to the Dollar tree and to Walmart,Kmart ect. and enjoy the cheaper prices because we understand fully that if these things were made in the US then they would be much more expensive. I should also seeing I said this about others lay some of this even on myself because I also go to those same places and buy those same things and so this if I toss it up in the air should fittingly fall even on my own head. HD: I will always listen to you. Your post really makes me sad. I can understand somewhat. Steve(husband) and I fostered 2 beautiful boys years ago. On our application we had no problems with fostering with the exception we did not want to split up siblings. Then we got the call, 2 little boys needed a home, we were thrilled. The caller said they are black/latino I said AND ???? You say this why???? Eventually we were blessed to adopt.

We have had rude statements from both sides of the isle. At first I got mad at the rude comments made from both white and black, then I realized they are the ones with the small minds (like the individual I assume that made that horrible comment to you} When the boys were older around 7 and 9 it happened again at a grocery store. A lady walked up to us and boldly stated "You boys don't call her mom she is white!" When I took the boys home I said them on the couch with me and said. "Your skin is different from mom's your skin is beautifully dark mine is light BUT.... When mom cuts her finger what color do I bleed? their reply of course red and I asked and if you boys bleed? of course again their reply red.

I went on to explain there are some people that see the color of people's skin only as to whether they like or dislike a person. I said you need to always remember we all bleed red. You see the person NOT the color of their skin or how they talk. Just thought I'd share this with you. Again I'll always listen to you.
