Those other Two cops are culpable also. Why are you talking like this
I never said otherwise. Try not to interpret things according to how you think but rather, try to understand (by reading more than once if you have to so that you don't react to things that are not being said)

one thing though...seems you also prefer not to look too closely at the huge black on black violence, murder etc. children have been killed. that is a bigger crime than what happened to Floyd IMO

and you also failed to note that I actually copy/pasted from an article online. those are not my words.

so, why are YOU talking like this? (rhetorical question)

smh

This sounds racist.Should his past crimes decide whether Its ok to murder him?
You know what's more annoying than a drug addicted criminal who dies of an overdose after passing counterfeit money and resisting arrest?

It's a white goodie, goodie who sucks up to black people to show off how non-racist they are. Just yesterday I witnessed a couple of whites fawning all over this black hoodrat woman and her baby. I could tell the woman despised them. It was just pathetic. I'm no fan of hoodrats, but they are certainly less odious than white sycophants.

Once again, I haven't heard one thing on this forum or anywhere else that has changed my mind.

I tend to trust info I get from David Horowitz

If I find out he stretched the truth... well, there goes my trust. But so far, I'm good..

If what Chauvin had done had been illegal... The procedure has been explained. As long as the windpipe isn't impacted, there is normally no problem.

the only question in my mind is whether all those drugs in F's system may have made him more vulnerable to the knee thing... But still... how are cops supposed to know the full medical history of every person they apprehend AND/or the lethality of the drugs they have ingested?

yes, maybe they should assume the worst, health-wise/drug ingestion-wise... but I just can't help thinking about how...

Most legislatures are not going to make something legal that can cause death...
The problem is, which expert do you believe? One stated that a completely healthy person would have died in the same circumstances. The other issue is that the arrested man was completely restrained and a risk to no one. Whatever his record, he was a man made in God's image. People treat their dogs better. He was also innocent until proven guilty, again whatever his criminal record was.

From what I saw and heard, the problem was not the initial arrest. It was the treatment way past what was necessary to restrain the arrested man. It smacked of deliberate vindictiveness and hatred. I don't have insight into Mr Chauvin's mind, but I can see for myself the end result. So could the jury. It helps to remember that the jury gets a way more detailed picture of events than anyone else, except for those who sit through the court case.

That a white man was convicted tells me that the US is far from the racist nation that it was before Martin Luther King. I've only spent a month in the US, but I saw no evidence of systemic racism. Of course, it's a big place and there may be areas that are still living with a 1950's mentality. I did not come across them if there are.

Floyd was anything but a saint, but he did deserve his day in court.

What Chauvin did was totally unacceptable, and his sentence is just.

What bothers me is that the knee-on-the-neck move that Chauvin used that day is employed regularly by Israeli soldiers against Palestinian citizens, and nobody seems to care.

What's even more troubling is that the average professing "Christian" seemingly supports the same (because they're so brainwashed).

And so it goes...
It is a little different. Israel is at war with the Palestinians. Palestinians have refused every offer of peace ever made. They can't even govern themselves. Abbas is now 16 years into his 4 year term and once more has cancelled elections. Israel, for all its faults, is a democracy, the only one in the Middle East. Also, the restraint is a knee on the person's head, not his neck. It may be uncomfortable, but not life threatening.

Israel haters are just as wrong as those who think that its heaven on earth. It is a tiny island of democracy, surrounded by Muslims who think it their duty to eradicate it. That it survives to this day is as much a miracle as it surviving the day that it declared independence. I suggest that you check out Derek Prince. He was living in Israel when independence was declared. They were truly amazing times.

Emotions run high and facts are not a part of some of the emotions here.

I don't care if you agree or do not agree with what I have said. what I do care about, are facts and not emotionalism. if you want to take a look at what the end result of emotionalism is, check out the riots last summer and they are not done yet

and kindly do not accuse me or anyone else of not caring about Floyd. everyone agrees that Chauvin made a bad error

however, Floyd was culpable and saying you don't care if he pointed a gun at a pregnant woman's belly and what has that got to do with anything, is ignorant IMO. You should care. He was like a loaded gun walking around and finally met an end that sadly we all agree could have been avoided.

Chauvin was in a position to abuse his power and it seems he did and he is paying for it.

one other thing. don't resist arrest. Floyd was so full of drugs he likely was not in a proper mental state either.

over and out
You are culpable of doing something wrong too,no one Is perfect and If someone kills you should we judge you and say that you had faults? but willfully hurting someone SHOULD be called out keeping some semblance of order In society.

LOL

I have had similar thoughts

the Left are just USING Blacks (blm, etc) to further their communist takeover of the US
couldn't care less about Blacks

and Blacks are not discriminated against in any STRUCTURED way... meaning there is no systemic racism. The system outlawed that a long time ago.

But they had to have a cause... one most Americans couldn't disagree w/
