"The Church"
to whom are you referring to?
It may well surprise you that what many call The Church is not the church.
Only the body of Christ is the church and if you want to discover who comprises the church of God then you will need to get back
to the scriptures and be the same as the first century Spirit-filled church of disciples.

And this is why I love the ending to The Last Battle from the Chronicles of Narnia.
You love the Chronicles of Narnia more than the word of God.

God's ways are not man's ways. His ways are higher than us. Is it any wonder some of his words and ways are hard to understand by our human brain?

All we can do is abide in the things that we do understand. While we ask God for grace with the things that are too hard for us.

Remember that after Elijah had defeated Jezebel's false prophets, while he was hiding in the cave, he said to God, I am the only prophet of God left.

But God set him straight by telling him that he was not the only prophet of the true God.

Perhaps its like that with the church. When you say all churches are bad, there maybe churches that do follow the teachings of God. So you just have to pray that God will lead you to one of them, and stop fantasizing over the Chronicles of Narnia.

When did I ever say I love the Chronicles of Narnia more than the word of God? Seriously, when did I ever say that? All I said was that I was happy that CS Lewis had the fortitude to say our actions and our hearts matter just as much if not more so than whom we claim to serve. Apparently that's a pretty unpopular thing to say, 'cause God forbid we actually claim our allegiance to him with our hearts and not just our words. So what if that's not fair to you?

Really, I don't even remember what this discussion is about.

I happily withdraw my previous statement.

Church is not to get even it is to take up your cross and go. Seriously pray before you sin you may be a sinner but you don’t want to be that kind of sinner.
