I just got a tip from a good friend of mine that a landing force of marines are going to land on the shore
near Gaza and they will bring tanks. Their aim is to protect American citizen caught up in this tragic event.
Personally, my advice to the IDF is to stand down and stay out of sight until the marines get these Americans
out of harm’s way. Just a suggestion Only my other side wants the IDF to try and stop them. :)-
Six weeks later? .

I really think that we can all fall victim to the mentality of "EITHER - OR". When in reality, seemingly contradictory ideas can both be true.

Most of the Jews in Israel today are not the "good guys". Although relatively speaking, on a secular level, they are waaay better than the muslims. The vast majority are agnostic/atheist, or extreme legalists, like the Hassidim.
But there are a remnant of "Messianic Jews", and I believe many more will become them.

The Nation was formed almost certainly in nefarious ways.

The method of their formation is completely irrelevant to the fact that it is God's plan for them to be regathered and dwell there in the end times.

Isaiah 11:11
New King James Version
11 It shall come to pass in that day
That the Lord shall set His hand again the second time
To recover the remnant of His people who are left,
From Assyria and Egypt,
From Pathros and Cush,
From Elam and Shinar,
From Hamath and the islands of the sea.

Excerpts from the article
Israel & the Return of the Messia
by I Gordon

Luke 13:34-35 'O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the city that kills the prophets and stones those sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, just as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, and you would not have it! 'Behold, your house is left to you desolate; and I say to you, you shall not see Me until the time comes when you say, 'BLESSED IS HE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD!' ' '

'Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord' is a Messianic title from Psalm 118:26 and it is this title that some who did believe shouted out to Jesus on His triumphant entry into Jerusalem. (Luke 19:38) But Jesus said that Israel would be left desolate, and that they would not see Him again UNTIL they acknowledge that He is their Messiah. This is in accordance with Old Testament scriptures as well, such as

Hosea 5:14-15 'For I will be like a lion to Ephraim, and like a young lion to the house of Judah... I will go away and return to My place until they acknowledge their guilt and seek My face; In their affliction they will earnestly seek Me.

Please read the whole passage in Hosea. It is God speaking, saying that He will return to His place until Israel admit their guilt and seek His face. Now we know that Jesus is the Lion of the tribe of Judah and it is in Jesus that this prophecy is fulfilled. So we have before us the specific issue that must take place before Israel as a nation can be saved - they must acknowledge that Jesus is their Messiah and their guilt in rejecting Him 2000 years ago. So the next question is...

Here's the whole fabulous article, but I don't understand how these VERY clear prophecies can be allegorized away.
https://jesusplusnothing.com/series/post/israel
Key phrase "in that day".....the DOTL.

That phrase is installed practically everywhere whenever the future redemption of Israel is being prophesied.

I wouldn't be too hard on them.

Most probably were brought up in an Amil Church, as most mainstream denominations are amil.

Unless they truly hate the Jews like one or two here def do, they'll eventually come around, as it becomes more and more impossible to stay amil.

Christians are welcome there, that's a lie.

Traditional Christians in Israel today who increasingly find themselves under assault, especially those living in or near orthodox Jewish neighborhoods. It is troubling that it is being misrepresented as spitting ON when it is spitting at, towards, or in the direction of.

Brutal Attack in Indonesia Targets Christian Farmers

https://www.hrw.org/news/2020/12/02/brutal-attack-indonesia-targets-christian-farmers

On November 27, Islamist militants attacked the Christian-majority village of Lembantongoa in Sulawesi, Indonesia, killing the village elder and three other Christian farmers. The attackers burned a Salvation Army church and six houses, prompting about 750 villagers to flee their homes. This horrific attack is the latest example of increased threats faced by religious minorities in Indonesia.

Where in the world is the worst place to be a Christian?

Somalia -

Islam is the state religion, and converting to another religion is illegal. The Islamist group al-Shabaab has stated that it wants to rid Somalia of all Christians, and people suspected of following the faith are likely to be killed on the spot. Many meet in secret, or don't meet at all, and cannot own Bibles.

Iraq-

As Islamic State has taken control of large parts of the country, Christians and other minorities have been forced to convert, pay a punitive tax or be killed. An estimated 100,000 people fled their homes in Mosul, a city in a largely Christian region in northern Iraq, as Isis advanced on the region in late 2014. There have been public execution-style killings of Christians by Isis, some of them recorded and broadcast for propaganda purposes, and most churches have been demolished.

Syria-

An estimated 700,000 Christians have fled Syria since the start of the civil war in 2011. Parts of the country have been claimed by Isis. Christians are often abducted and killed.

Afghanistan-

There are few Christian believers in Afghanistan. Those that exist must keep their faith secret or risk being rejected by their families, or even killed. There are no churches except for secret ones. While Afghan Christians are at greatest risk, foreigners are also in danger. In 2014, several Christian aid workers were killed in the country.

Sudan-

Converting from Islam to another religion is punishable by death. Sudan also has blasphemy laws under which many Christians have been imprisoned. There are reports that the government has attacked Christians with targeted bombings, and turned a blind eye to the killings of Christians by others.

Iran -

Armenians and Assyrians living in Iran are allowed to practice Christianity, but are often treated as second-class citizens. Churches are monitored and raided by the government and at least 75 Christians were arrested in Iran last year.

Pakistan-
Christians in Pakistan are often treated as second-class citizens. Christian women and children can be the targets of sexual abuse; blasphemy laws are abused to attack followers; and churches are monitored and sometimes attacked.

Nigeria, Maldives, Saudi Arabia, Libya,Yemen,Uzbekistan,Central African Republic, Qatar,Ethiopia,Egypt,Djibouti

-Converting from Islam means forfeiting Maldivian citizenship, and owning a Bible is punishable by death. Churches are banned; Christian migrants and tourists also have to meet in secret and cannot own Bibles.

-Most Christians in Saudi Arabia are migrants. There are a few Muslim-born Christians, and conversion from Islam is punishable by death. Church buildings are forbidden and so Christians meet in house churches, which are frequently raided. Christians may be arrested, imprisoned, tortured and deported for their faith.

-Migrant workers are allowed to maintain churches, but converts from Islam risk being killed if their new religion becomes known. Evangelism is illegal, as is taking Bibles in Arabic into the country, and there are reports of violence against Christians being carried out with impunity.

-Yemeni Christians must keep their faith a secret. Tribal leaders in the country often punish people who wish to leave Islam, and al-Qaida, which is active in the country, has been known to kidnap and kill Yemeni Christians.

- All religious activity in Uzbekistan must be officially registered and run through the state. No new permits for churches have been granted since 1999 and several have been revoked. Christians report having their phones and houses bugged, and unregistered churches are often raided. Steep fines are imposed for running an unregistered church or possessing Bibles or other Christian materials. Converts from Islam face the harshest punishments for their faith: imprisonment, beatings and sometimes banishment.

-Fighting has raged in the Central African Republic since 2012. Members of the militant group Séléka, made up of CAR rebels and Muslims from neighbouring countries, have raped, tortured and killed Christians throughout the country. There are reports of them taking pastors out of refugee camps to kill them, and destroying entire villages.

- Islam is the official religion of Qatar and only Muslims are permitted to worship publicly. Those who convert from Islam risk banishment, violence and death.

-There were 60 violent incidents recorded against Christians in Ethiopia in 2014. Many happened in Muslim-dominated areas of the country, where Christians report harassment for their faith...

I can keep going, and going, and going. Oh and who isn't there? Who wasn't named?? Hummm.

What do you mean not the God you know? rofl You know you have to actually read the Bible. You can't make up your own opinions. Have you ever heard of King David??!! You know, the boy who killed the giant that was mocking God's people? No only killed him but beheaded him. No wonder you all are so far off the reservation! You gotta read the Book.

Unless of course salvation of Jews is not anything you're interested in.
Perhaps you'd rather have them suffer eternally in the lake of fire?

No one here hates the Jewish people, that is ridiculous.

If you cared about Israel's then should not agree with its very destructive behaciour, they need to agree to a ceasefire as does Hamas.

Seems to me those who disagree with with a ceasefire are the ones who are oblivious to the fact that what happened to Ukraine could happen to Israel, a destroyed nation.

You presume to think that Hamas is capable of trust and goodwill towards Israel?

Wouldn't that be contrary to their primary mandate? That of course is a rhetorical question.

Did you just fall off the turnip truck? That is another rhetorical question.

There is no comparison between Ukraine and Israel. Ukraine is being used in a proxy war against Russia. whereas Israel is fighting for survival. And whether you believe it or not God will see Israel through this.

Ukraine is being used as a money launderer. None of the money is getting to the people. It's going to oligarchs and slush funds. It becomes dark money to overthrow democracies fund hate groups to cause discord and dissension. Your tax dollars at work.
