It remains my belief until I see otherwise. And my responses to you are not personal. We may disagree, but I have no ill feelings towards you. Even within the ranks of military command there are opposing views on how to proceed. And there are no Christians who hold every doctrine in common.
You can pivot all you want it put back on me but ultimately you made this claim.

The bombing isn't indiscriminate.
The ratio states otherwise.

thats not really a fair comparison because Israel controls their own territory.

what Hamas does is such things as put weapons caches under apartment buildings and launch rockets from schools and hospitals, and military operations centers in the middle of neighborhoods. they literally as a deliberate strategy use Palestinian civilian citizens as human shields so that when Israel retaliates they can flood the press with stories about how the IDF kills civilians - including a lot of fake videos exaggerating the situation.

so how is the IDF supposed to respond?
it's very difficult. you can't just do nothing, but anything you do, there is going to be collateral damage, and it is going to be severely criticized in the court of public opinion.
Bravo, we had no choice but to kill 10 000+ people in one month and we can can cover our actions by blaming the victims.

“The heresy of heresies is common sense” (Orwell, 71).

It's not as discriminate as you might like, but Israel is only aiming at military targets. Those targets are in areas that have civilians. But the goal isn't to kill civilians. It is to degrade military capability. So it isn't indiscriminate if it is limited. If the city is carpet bombed, that is indiscriminate. The loss of civilian life is multiplied by Hamas warfare strategies.

Well since I know nothing about war, I have no response.

That's not what I said. I think you know alot. I appreciate what you share. I just don't think you understand the intricacies of war. How many lives do you think would be saved if Hamas didn't use human shields and allowed people to leave war zones?

And all of the Gazans know about this of course. Given the circumstances why have they all not yet evacuated?

Just in case you think the propaganda is one sided.
There is always propaganda, especially in war, and especially today when everything you do online is tracked and sold. to advertisers, you see more and more. propaganda that corroborates whatever you already want to believe.

my point was that the IDF has a very difficult job to do and the killing of civilians is something that Hamas has designed into their warfare strategy.

Gaza is very poor. they cannot buy billion dollar missile systems and fleets of tanks. so what they have to do is use the people of Gaza and the reactions of the media, and the emotional effect it has.
and they do that.
it is in fact very wise, in a worldly way - and it works. it is also. incredibly evil.

i'm not being an apologist i am pointing out that this whole humanitarian crisis is manufactured and purposeful, and it is weaponized.
i am pointing out that the IDF has to deal with a weaponized, manufactured humanitarian crisis in order to defend themselves, so do you have a better idea for them how to go about doing that than what they are currently doing?

the poor do not have the luxury of being able to move to another country whenever they wish, and i expect that being a native Canaanite speaking out or trying to leave because of the danger Hamas puts you in is not exactly looked kindly upon by the authorities in place there.

if you are an army why would you let your shields walk away? some reports i have read say Hamas has been actively preventing people from leaving the northern parts of the territory. Who knows what the truth actually is now? but i am inclined to believe that's not entirely inaccurate.

Yes it is too late for many. But if it were me, I would have been long gone years ago. Why would anybody want to live there knowing that Hamas tunnels filled with munitions are running under the streets at schools, marketplaces and hospitals?

A city of Peace is what the Lord presents as the solution. Paying the price for a peace offering is the Law.
Netanyahu is a war criminal and a rat, and he knows his own people want to try him as a war criminal. He's just doing what all rats do as the ship sinks - trying to save his own sorry skin. I'm hoping he is held to justice, and the guilty with him.
It's a shame you don't bother to do any serious research on such a serious issue. Netanyahu is not the problem. Do you think he arranged for Hamas to attack Israel? Someone is to blame for Israel being caught napping. The truth will out eventually. In the mean time, You really should shut up until you know what you are talking about.

JohnDB has come up with an out of the box solution that the Biden administration first championed. Instead of sending an army to fight with Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran and Yemen, let's send social workers and psychiatrists to talk to them and provide counseling.
Sure, and Moses and co go with them to provide spiritual backup.

Hamas are holed up in tunnels like the Viet Cong did in Vietnam
So rather than bombing Gaza and killing innocent civilians, maybe a siege would be more effective
Eventually they would have two options, surrender or starve
There are hundreds of kilometers of tunnels. Hamas has stored up vast amounts of food, ammunition, medical supplies and whatever they need to survive. In the meantime, they have tunnel entrances all over Gaza.

Israel is destroying entrances to the tunnels as they are discovered. So sure, some Hamas fighters will be trapped. Hamas fighters also ditch their uniforms to hide in civilain areas. Then they can go back into the fight when the IDF thinks its all clear in an area. It's not easy, as America has found dealing with ISIS. In a normal war, normal tactics will work. This war is unique. Tactics have to adapt.

Hi. Cutting in real quick...

How do you know this? Is it because they say they are, or can you point to something else that verifies this?

I know this because Romans 11 says this. I know this because the Word says God will regather the Jews from other lands and restore them in their own land where they will never be uprooted again. I believe the second coming of Christ is very near and that this generation may not pass. I'm not a date setter, I just see the signs. And what's happening in Israel is the biggest sign.

They have done it before. Now would be the time to take up a weapon and help rid Israel of Hamas.

ARE WE WATCHING WHAT WILL BECOME THE OBADIAH WAR?? (feat. John McTernan) | Watch Therefore

Talks of an all out war, a fight to the finish, indicating the Day of the Lord is near and warning that as you have done to Israel it will be done unto you.

The house of Esau refers to Hamas and Hezbollah, they will be thoroughly driven off the land with none remaining. This is what they are trying to do to Israel and it will be done unto them.
