If she wins, I'm going to become a card carrying member of the Illuminati, Bilderberg Group, Club of Rome and every other worldwide conspiracy group out there, because a conspiracy is exactly what it would take for her to win.
The Illuminati have terrible benefits for everyone except those at the top. It's a real pyramid scheme.

That's why I joined the Knights of St. John.

I injured my wrist trying to learn the secret handshake of the Bilderberg Group. I decided I could avoid conspiracy charges by forming a Lone Wolf McQuade Republican Ranger group. One member, no secret handshake to learn, dues are 25 push-ups. I can't allow any of you to join me but you can subscribe to my newsletter, The Lobo Letter.

Carson is surging.

RealClearPolitics - Election 2016 - 2016 Republican Presidential Nomination

That's an interesting development. The latest NBC/WSJ poll still shows him ahead of Trump.
Media is trying to oust Trump by casting the perception that he is losing in the meaningless opinion polls. Trump himself said he'd drop out if his poll numbers went too low. Carson is not a feasible alternative though. Carson is even weaker than Trump!

Seriously GOPers this is not the election to be playing circus games like usual. America is currently in the midst of the most arduous time of my lifetime thus far. World War 3 gets hotter every year since 2010 and spreads to more countries. We got Putin on the move everywhere. We got the Islamic factions tearing up everything and even each other. We got the beginnings of softcore persecution of Christianity. Now is not the time for these weak inexperienced candidates. To survive as a nation America needs someone with solid experience and solid record of positive governance, and someone that will end the government targeting of Christians.

By the media, do you mean the liberal media or Fox News and News Max and right wing radio? Which? If you are talking about the liberal media, why would they want to oust Donald Trump. All polls show he would lose to Hillary. The liberal media should be supporting Trump.

You refer to polls as meaningless, yet Donald Trump states they are not meaningless. He bases his future decision to drop out on polls. When he is leading in the polls, he can't stop talking about the polls.

This is not the election to be playing circus games like usual. What circus games and what is the usual circus game? You're 26 years old. What do you really know about elections, polls, circus games, arduous times, Putin, and Islamic fractions? Do you really think you know what America needs to survive? I doubt it. You made a list of qualifications that got us candidates that have been consistently losing elections. How about an example of someone with a solid record of positive governance?

Carson is even weaker than Trump, you say. How so? He is leading Trump. When people are asked who they trust the most Carson scores twice as high as any other Republican. When asked who their first and second choices would be, Carson more than doubles the next highest GOP candidate. He probably has the greatest chance of getting minority votes of all GOP candidates and those are the votes that will decide the election, not the GOP base, which will support whomever gets the nomination. It is mathematically impossible for any GOP candidate to beat Hillary unless they can get 40% or more of the Hispanic vote and much more than 9% of the black vote, that GOP candidates normally get. But then you must know this, since you have it all figured out. Sorry, you are wrong. Really wrong.

By media I mean all media. Media is a medium for words, art, information, ideas, theories, etc. you know basic communication and propaganda.

Media opinion polls are completely arbitrary, very shallow, and historically highly inaccurate. So it does not surprise me Trump being among the most characteristically superficial candidates would stake much on it.

The circus game for the GOP lately, also known in some political circles as the GOP clown car is for the seemingly past 2 plus this current cycle presidential elections the GOP runs a multitude of candidates ranging from very good politicians to very bad, even infamous among the commoners, and for some reason favor the ones that lie, pander, and are the most scandal-filled. The Democrats also do this, but in the past elections the GOP had a good chance to beat the Democrats, even had very good candidates but for some reason decides to over-whelmingly and metaphorically vote to shoot itself in the foot by picking a candidate that is often the worst stereotype of a Republican.

Carson is easily weaker than Trump because even though he constantly lies and has very dark associations like Trump. Carson is also highly unrealistic like Trump as well. He is also inexperienced as Trump, though it shows more with Carson with him oft forgetting people's names or America's alliances and stances on integral issues such as NATO. Unlike Trump, Carson is does not seem brave. His quiet demeanor is not even good. He does not seem thoughtfully quiet, but more like a snake, and how they are treacherous and quiet and how he avoids and outright lies about his associations to his poor judgment. Then of course there is the fact Carson is a member of a heretical non-Christian cult. Frankly, I am compelled to never vote someone to try to prevent them from gaining power over our people by any means necessary.

That's why you have to take a harder look at Kasich. Someone whom has experience and a record of leading us out of messes. Kasich key figure in economics/financial policies in the 1990s, time of prosperity and surpluses. Even moreso in Ohio as Governor. Saw that with my own eyes. Under the GOP Taft and under Demcorat Strickland factories leaving, deficits, debts, corruption, infrastructure projects languishing. Kasich came in and in one term reverse all that, now got surpluses and jobs coming back in. My own hometown is a good symbol, we had a factory there long time, center of the town, left under the Democrats. Town languished, just seemed empty man. Now it has small businesses opening up in it. That's in part thanks to the Mayor here though I guess, voted for him today. Ain't about party, ain't about popularity. It's about who serves best and who has the record to prove it.

Indeed don't vote for those that make messes. Vote for those with verified records of cleaning them up.

What do you make of Medicaid Expansion?
If you are prospering and you can pay for it, why is it even a question? It would only make sense to use the prosperity to help the people that are your master. Aside from that the logical argument is government promised it even before we were born and the government must meet its own word and obligation to the citizen. Mike Huckabee also was a good candidate pointing this out on such issues as well as Social Security. Playing the GOPer I'd hit a counter get rid of much of Obamacare and use the funds and positive aspects we have learned from it to our advantage while purging the bad like the highly illegal and unconstitutional and unethical tax on life/mandate on life. From how much money wasted on terrible Obamacare we could possibly salvage Medicare/Medicaid for a bit longer, but alas all things will come to an end one day whether we want it or not. Just get a good GOPer like Kasich, and Kasich can build coalitions too aimed at conservative principles and actually get stuff done, even though for now he must be a lil more doggish right now in the race to set himself apart.

Lol, does make me think of something funny somewhat funny story not long ago, but you may like the humor. I was hanging out with some friends, actually two of them are literal Carson shills actually which is funny for maybe another topic or post. Anyways, my friend the host recently became an insurance agent and got a new apartment, praise to Jesus indeed for helping him lately. So that's why I was there. The host my friend is not really into politics like we are though, doesn't vote or follow it much. We all were watching 300 the movie. Of course the epic and highly biased story of Leonidas and Xerxes doth provoke much thought and commentary like how in history such characters seem to seek in vanity for false immortality and glory. Of course always there is how they ultimately doth fail, even in fiction. This led to a humorous exchange about how long you'd want to live, if you could just live decently for however you want, but have to be limited. My friend the host said "I be glad just to make it to Medicaid age".

I took a harder look at John Kasich. As a result, I can now say that he should drop out of the race. He is no conservative. He changes his beliefs based on what is most popular and beneficial to his political career. That makes him like most politicians. Spend an hour reading his story on Wikipedia. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Kasich You'll see he was in favor of government health care before Obama was elected. He turned around on immigration and now is in favor of amnesty and citizenship for illegals. He takes the easy way out on the war in Iraq and says it was a mistake, essentially throwing President Bush under the bus to get votes. He is weak on crime and has made changes in Ohio state laws allowing prisoners to get out of prison after serving only 80% of their sentence. He turned his back on State Republicans by accepting an expansion of Medicaid. You claim that when we are prospering, why not add billions to the budget. We are not prospering. Ohio taxed fracking operations and has decided to spend that money as fast as they can on drug treatment for felons, which is failing, on education, which hardly ever goes to students, but rather giving union educators pay raises when poorly performing their jobs. He also worked as an investment banker, as managing director of Lehman Brothers' Columbus, Ohio office. He worked for Lehman Brothers right up until they went bankrupt, making over $400,000 in bonus for work in 2007. He tried to deny working for them during the debate. He says he was no in favor of the war in Bosnia, probably because President Clinton was in favor of it, and it turned out was amazingly successful. He's been wishy-washy on global warming. First he said it was a real problem. Now, during the debates, he is back-pedaling, saying he hasn't studied it and needs to know more. He doesn't have the courage of conviction to say catastrophic global warming is a hoax. That's because he is a politician, an insider. Kasich is weak on the death penalty. He has commuted five death sentences. He has currently delaying all executions until after next years elections. It's a political decision he hopes will win him votes from Democrats. Yesterday, Ohio voters turned down recreational marijuana. Over a third of voters support recreational marijuana. They will get it back on the ballot in a year or two and it will pass. It will gradually pass in all 50 states. John Kasich will not prevent it from passing one day soon. He has been particularly sympathetic to drug users and abusers. The biggest drivers of state spending are public sector pensions. It bankrupted Detroit and is about to bankrupt Chicago. Kasich tried and failed to restrict public sector unions. Kasich did little to push back against gay marriage. Now he is practically embracing homosexuals publically, refusing to discuss what the Biblical view of homosexuality is.

My conclusion is he will drop out of the race as his support declines. He has little to offer.

Would someone give me one good reason to vote for any one from either party. All I can see is plenty of reasons not to vote for them.

It's difficult to give you a reason. If you are a conservative, your vote could lead to a victory for a conservative candidate over a liberal progressive. It sort of depends on what state you live in. If you live in a blue state like California, you might as well stay home. Their electoral votes will go to Hillary. If you live in a swing state where the race could be close, your vote could make a difference.

What are you likely to get for your vote? Probably more of the same. The government will keep over spending. They will not build a wall or fence at the southern border, if that is important to you. They will give in and allow illegal immigrants to become U.S. citizens. They will not overturn Obamacare. They will not protect social security from going broke. They will not get GDP to grow at over 2-3%. Homosexual marriage will continue. Unless Republicans get 60 seats in the Senate, there will be gridlock if Hillary is elected. Both parties will watch the Middle East become out of control. Maybe that's best. Maybe that brings us more quickly to Armageddon, to the second coming. Maybe a vote for Hillary is a vote for a swift return of the Lord. Maybe a vote for the Republican would also lead to His return, just not as quickly.

I guess I can't give you a good reason. Sorry.

Many of these are half-truths or are frankly reasons why Kasich is stronger.

Firstly, nothing wrong being in favor of healthcare or of programs to help the sick and the poor. That is the morally correct thing. Though it seems some GOPers think that it is bad to help the poor. Which is why generally speaking the majority of the public hates the GOP. Suggesting Kasich has added to the budget is ridiculous. Kasich balanced the budget and we have an enormous surplus. We can afford to do what is right in the sight of the Lord and take care of the poor, the downtrodden, the bastard, and the widow.

On immigration I favor amnesty type programs, so that be a strength. Far better than the fantastical ideas and hate-mongering from Trump.

On war; if Kasich has criticized Iraq War, and this I have not seen, but if so then he is right, the Iraq War was a disaster. Throwing someone under the bus implies they were innocent. Bush was not innocent, he conducted a war based on a lie and many of our people have been killed and maimed and mentally screwed up in vain because of him. This is another reason why many people, especially of my generation hate the GOP for being liars and warmongers. Being in favor of peace instead of war is a good thing.

On crime, remember Kasich came into office in 2010 in the midst of the Great Recession and in the middle of one of the worst periods Ohio has faced in my lifetime. Nevertheless according to what I can see crime has decreased under Kasich.
Ohio Crime Statistics and Rates Report (OH) - CityRating.com
Just because Kasich is compassionate and has the more common sense than the typical modern GOPer does not mean he is weak on crime obviously therefore if crime has been decreasing, and is in fact significantly lower than it was under his GOP and Democrat predecessors. Even more amazing given the conditions for which Kasich assumed office, during a time of severe hardship. As far as giving drug treatment to people instead of throwing them into prison, this is the right thing to do, it is the right course of action to trying to solve both the drug and prison over-crowding problem in America.

In terms of the death penalty, the death penalty is highly barbaric and should be made illegal. So Kasich commuting death sentences is another strength of his. Especially in consideration that Kasich did the right thing and put a moratorium on the cruel and unusual practice of lethal injection after the botched and torturous death of an Ohio inmate in 2014.
Family, experts: Ohio execution points to flaws in lethal injection - CNN.com

Lol the narrative that Ohio got lucky with fracking line that Trump said is false. Not surprising coming from the most plastic candidate in the race. Automobiles and plastics were bigger drivers of Ohio economic growth than fracking.
CNBC debate: CNN's Reality Check team inspects the claims - CNNPolitics.com

Global warming might not be real, but climate change is. If Kasich wants be an ally in stopping negative man made climate change, all the better.

On Lehman brothers, another half-truth attack from Trump. Which of course is hilarious, Trump being one of the most corrupt people on earth at this time. Trump alleged Kasich was on the board of Lehman Brothers. You'd think Kasich was the CEO by what Trump says. Kasich was a simple investment banker and he got a bonus for good work and making his clients and his company prosper. Not his fault Lehman Brother's executives were corrupt like Trump and went bankrupt.

As for the hilarious pot attack, that issue lost in a landslide. Granted it as an off-year election, but I still can't see it passing here any time too soon. I know my people well and their sentiments. Pot might be legal someday in Ohio if more states join the green wall, but it won't be too soon. Ohio definitely won't be the first in the region.

As for the unions. This would be the Democrats only real attack against Kasich, but he does have the potential to counter it. Kasich actually tried to bust the unions. A very Reaganesque position. It went to a referendum by the people though, Ohioans generally like unions, so we blocked him. Kasich respected the vote and decision of the people, therefore no condemnation on him for trying to bust the unions. It also highlights how Kasich is willing to humble himself to the people and recognizes he is a public servant. Something I cannot say the same for Trump.

My conclusion Kasich is clearly the strongest. Kasich is like a stereotype of all that is good about Christian Republican principles. It seems though that a portion of the GOP has lost their minds and want to elect a stereotype of all that is bad about the GOP like Lex Luthor/Donald Trump.

You may want to consider a career in politics. You have already learned how to spin the bad news into good news. When down in the polls, just say polls are unreliable. Whatever works for you. So, according to you, government healthcare under Obama is bad but government forcing employees to buy health care under a Kasich proposal is good. Better than good, it's the Godly thing to do, forcing people to buy health care and taking away their freedom of choice.

Homicides are up 140% in Cleveland since Kasich took officer as Governor. I'm sure it's someone else's fault, not his. Why not blame George Bush.

You're a young man who since reaching voting age has only seen a Democrat in the White House. Now, like a die hard Browns fan, you are rooting for the hometown guy. He is polling at 3%, behind Carly Fiorina and just ahead of Rand Paul. He will throw all of his funding behind a run at the New Jersey primary and perhaps come in 5th. About six primaries in, he will bow out, hoping to get hired for a cabinet position if a Republican wins the general election. Or, accept that he is stuck in Ohio as governor. It could be worse, he could be governor of Illinois or Michigan, and have to deal with crazy amounts of crime and debt.

I don't know if you're a fair weather Republican, who plans to switch parties or quit voting when Kasich drops out. You've already disparaged the two leading Republican candidates and President Bush. I'm guessing you aren't in it for the long haul. Just to correct you, there was no lie. President Bush and almost all of the Democrats in Congress, stated Saddam had to go. They all viewed the same intel. They all felt he was hiding WMD's because he refused to allow inspectors to check sites where we thought they were. I can say that the correct answer is that we found few WMD's not zero WMD's. Some were found buried along a road. I would guess that most of them ended up in Syria and were used on it's people by Assad. Regardless, you don't know enough about the topic to condemn President Bush. He did the right thing. Had Obama left a small number of troops in Iraq, we never would have had ISIS enter and take over.

Ohio voted on recreational marijuana because it was popular enough to get on the ballet. Wealthy people have the power to get marijuana on state ballots. I live in a state that tried to pass it and failed. Then a year later they tried again. It failed. They asked for a recount and suddenly it passed. Medical marijuana only. It will probably take 2-3 years before recreational marijuana is legal here. I predict the same timeline for Ohio. George Soros has a lot of cash to get it back on the ballot and convince voters they are not voting for a monopoly of farmers to buy the product from. Maybe he'll sell the idea by saying the taxes from it will pay for additional social services. As far as your take on the GOP and the poor, you have it wrong. They want to help the poor but they don't want to make the poor dependent on assistance. Even John Kasich knows this as he was involved in legislation to overhaul welfare.

Being in favor of amnesty for criminals who broke the law illegally entering the country is a betrayal of conservative principals. They can enter lawfully. Even John Kasich tried to nullify the 14th Amendment that people have falsely interpreted to say that Mexicans can come here and give birth and that child is automatically an American citizen. That's rubbish and Kasich knew that years ago before he flopped his position to get a broader base of support.

I've forgotten more about climate change than most people will ever know. Go to Watts Up With That? | The world's most viewed site on global warming and climate change and spend a couple hours reading everything you can. Maybe even look up the modern day Albert Einstein, Freeman Dyson and read his views on climate change. The man could well be the smartest man on our planet. Freeman Dyson and global warming Needless to say, he refuses to accept catastrophic global warming / climate change as it is being packaged and sold. Sure, the climate is changing, it always has. That's not what alarmists are saying and John Kasich is moving closer to joining those alarmists, if it will get him votes.

I don't think John Kasich is a bad guy. He is simply not the right man for the job and doesn't have much support. Try not to bad mouth the remaining candidates after Kasich drops out. All of them are more appealing than Hillary.

An interesting candidate this cycle has been Gov Christie. He's really great in front of a camera and quite boorish (which has turned out to be a strength).

Lol I could say the same for you, trying to spin good news as bad. Opinion polls are indeed unreliable whether you be up or down in them. It's almost absurd to think a poll that only interviews at most about 1,000 people is valid even without the potential biases and wonk they are so famous for. It's simply too small to be accurate. Remember around this time in the 2012 cycle Herman Cain was winning the opinion polls in a landslide. The only poll that matters is the one on election day.

Nextly, Medicare and Medicaid is not forcing people to buy insurance like Obamacare is. Medicare and Medicaid are promises to the people made by the people long before I was born. They are paid for by the government. Obamacare by contrast forces individuals to purchase a good or service from a private corporation on condition that they are alive.

Homicides up in Cleveland, and if you know about the gang problems up there it's not much to wonder at who to blame, the thugs and the gangsters. Lol don't lose sight of the bigger picture. Crime overall is down across the state, significantly lower than both of Kasich's predecessors.

I have been following politics closely since about 2nd grade, since the Dole-Clinton election. This ain't my first rodeo. There's who I want to win and who I think will win. I would like for Kasich to win as he is by far the best candidate with the best record. It don't matter being hometown or not, the fact is Kasich eliminated Ohio's debt and deficit and has brought jobs back to Ohio. (Lol, did give you the like for the witty Browns allusion though.) I favor who can get down to that famous Bottom Line. Seems the GOP has had too much of that kool-aid to drink though seeing as they are foisting circus candidates like Trump, Carson, Fiorina, and Bush upon us. Unless the GOP comes out of its stupor it's an easy win for Hillary. You really could not make it easier for her.

As for Kasich's immediate future, he's still in play. He has invested a lot of groundwork in Iowa and moreso New Hampshire. I would expect him to stay in at least as far as those primaries. Indeed and agreed on the Illinois and Michigan comment. We do not want to be like them. Notice how Kasich has a much lower crime rate than his predecessors and has eliminated Ohio debt. Something those states, and most the candidates in both parties in this race cannot say.

I'm not a Republican or a Democrat. I view US politics in the lens that I am the King of America. I do lean moreso towards the Republicans since I was a hardcore GOPer in my youth until the Bush disaster. The GOP is such a disappointment anymore running people like Bush, Trump, Carson, and Mitt. Speaking on Mitt, terrible candidate. I told the GOPers they'd lose for picking Mitt way back in the 2012 GOP primaries. GOPers wanted to shoot themselves in the foot though, so they got Obama. This election is intriguing to see if they will do it again.

Who can really be loyal to a party that has lied to my face so many times and that puts up clowns and comic book villains for candidates? As for the Iraq War, don't try to defend the Iraq War, it was the biggest mistake in US history. A war based on a lie and now this generation will never trust the government, you can take that to the bank. I would like for the GOP to pick a good candidate like Kasich or Huckabee and to win. Realistically though it seems Hillary will win. The GOP sure does seem like they will make it easy for her. I've said it many times in this thread; I have to wonder if the GOP is intentionally trying to throw away the election by propping up people like Trump and Carson.

As for pot, I agree it's popular enough to get on the ballot, that is pretty obvious seeing as it was on the ballot lol. Lol a friend of mine debated this with me for months. He thought it would pass quite easily. My thought was it would lose being an off year election. Now even though I was right and it did lose, I thought it would be somewhat close. I was very surprised at the margin by which it lost, a total landslide. The voter turnout was even higher than typical for an off year election to boot. With that in consideration I would think for Ohio that it will not be able to pass anytime too soon. Ohio moves slowly on stuff like this. The only way I could see Ohio legalizing weed is if a few neighboring states did so first, and even then it would be somewhat close.

America is a nation of immigrants. It's absurd to be anti-immigration. Might as well spit in your ancestor's face while you're at it. Way I see it unless they are part of the cartels or the street gangs, give them amnesty. The Hispanics are largely Christian too. I'll take the Christian Hispanic immigrants that may have crossed the border illegally to escape their tragic war over the hordes of muslims the GOP and Democrats alike have been letting pour into our country 100% legally. As for anchor babies, if you're born on US soil you are as much a US citizen and king of America as I am.

As for climate change, climate change is real. It's pretty easy to prove. Go out litter in your yard. You climate just changed lol. Go pick up that litter, climate changed again. If you want a more extreme example, just go look up China. Climate change issue needs to be addressed, the GOP and Dems ignore it because of big money interests. In Ohio climate change issues are big issues indeed and I hope Kasich will indeed take a harder look at them. We don't have to be Chicken Little about it. Some pertinent climate change issues for Ohio that ought be addressed and fixed include the invasive species particularly the asian carp, industrial dumping in water sources, and reducing air pollution. As for global warming, indeed there is absolutely no evidence for global warming, but that doesn't negate the mountain of evidence for negative localized climate change and the potential to fix it.

Kasich is one of the few candidates of either party qualified for the job and moreso that could do the job to positive effect. If the GOP opts to be the clown car party again this cycle then they will lose and I will indeed point it out as often as I can. Kasich, Huckabee, Cruz, Rubio. If the GOP picks anyone besides those four then they deserve to have Hillary stomp upon them with such a sound and fury that you'd think her name was William Faulkner.
