LOL, what happened is Trump has a lot of lawyers who were able to maneuver the situation in his favor. He can be sentenced just as easily on Nov. 26 as he can on Sept. 18. He's probably going to lose the election anyway so it really doesn't matter.

Wow! I'm surprised! o_O Maybe reparations will be back on the table.
Looks like the Democrat plantation owners pulled the rug out. And then laughed their fool heads off at the anguish of their cotton picking useful idiots.

When will the useful idiots ever learn?

Hey @ResidentAlien ......time to put your big boy pants on and quit being a child.

The fact is that the whole miscarriage of justice humiliation ritual election steal scam came unwound after the truth bomb DOJ hidden camera reveal. And many other developments.

And Merchan is witnessing how his corrupt money-laundering Democrat activist apparatchik daughter is freaking out and paying $2000.00 per hour lawyer fees trying desperately to avoid doing 10-15 years in the slammer. So he is getting cold feet about going thru with the sentencing. Which is the only card he has left to play to keep his career and family intact.

Merchan has destroyed his own future and reputation, and his daughters fate hangs in the balance while the Congressional committee moves forward to a full blown prosecution.

That is a very misleading statement. If the government brought BOGUS charges against you, and you could hire a team of lawyers, you would fight the charges by every possible means. That is not "maneuvering" but doing what a defendant is supposed to do. Trump should have had even better lawyers but he did OK. The Democrats threatened top-notch lawyers if they would defend Trump. That was illegal. All the lawfare against Trump was also illegal.

Read it and weep @JayBird @Susanna @tedincarolina @Maggiefortruth

What happened? Truth happened. And relenting pressure of ongoing Congressional investigation happened.
And Merchan wisely exited the miscarriage of justice monstrosity that has destroyed his reputation and future.

NEW YORK (AP) — A judge agreed Friday to postpone Donald Trump’s sentencing in his hush money case until after the November election, granting him a hard-won reprieve as he navigates the aftermath of his criminal conviction and the homestretch of his presidential campaign.

Manhattan Judge Juan M. Merchan, who is also weighing a defense request to overturn the verdict on immunity grounds, delayed Trump’s sentencing until Nov. 26, several weeks after the final votes are cast in the presidential election.
Hey @cv5

I've figured that one out already. I knew they weren't going to sentence him until after the election. How bad would the egg on one's face be, if he won the election and got to walk right out anyway? But if they wait, ah that's where they get to make sure that he isn't made president and then all bets are off. I imagine the cases will start appearing on court dockets pretty quickly after that. And all those people giving him money for his legal defense team will still be paying. The other consideration may be safety. If he is sentenced now and does get jail time that would run past the election, we might well see an even larger 1/6 style demonstration of the faithful.

So yea, I suspected quite a while ago that there isn't going to be anything much going on between now and the election as far as his having to be in courts. Everyone will see that as some attempt to keep him off the campaign trail.

Absolutely correct.

Confirmed by the DOJ Chief Public Information Officer Nicholas V. Biase.

“He[Alvin Bragg] was just stacking charges and rearranging things just to make it fit a case.”
“I think the case is nonsense.”
“It’s a perversion of justice.”
“It’s a travesty of justice.”
“It’s a mockery of justice.”
“The whole thing is disgusting.”
“That’s why he’s[Trump] surging in the polls.”

Trump is too old to run again, and two losses in a row will convince the hard right that they need a new standard bearer without connections to Trump. With this in mind, Trump's problems will no longer warrant further trials and by 2028, he'll be a distant memory.

If he does win, I predict he will have a new Articles of Impeachment launched continuously.

I don't like Trump, nor do I want him to be our next president, but just the thought of Harris as president makes my skin crawl.

Oregon ‘lost a generation of people’ due to now-reversed liberal drug law, says GOP leader

https://nypost.com/2024/09/04/us-ne...ow-reversed-liberal-drug-law-says-gop-leader/

Helfrich said on Fox this week: “You saw overdose deaths, you saw drug usage on the street, crime, homelessness all soared after Democrats put this policy in place. And they could have stopped it, but they didn’t.”

“Unfortunately, because we decriminalized it for those few years, we’ve lost a generation, I believe, of people because of these drugs. And you don’t get to have those times anymore,” he continued.

“People can’t even go into public and take their kids to the park because they’re dealing with the death, they’re dealing with drug use, dealing with all those bad things that are happening. And this is just horrible policies.”

“It’s unfortunate that you have these mega-donors around the nation that use Oregon as the petri dish and experiment to try to create this world of utopia, and you can’t do it. We need more Republicans [in] charge to fix this problem,"

Oh, good one. What post did you tell us this?

I think you have been ridiculed enough so that your credibility is at 0. However, this post of yours where you told us beforehand that they would postpone Trump's sentencing until after the election should be a good first step to improving your credibility.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr on How the Tide of Totalitarianism Can Be Turned

"I think it all depends on this election...What Donald Trump calls the deep state, which is this web of financial interests that is not necessarily a conspiracy. But it's a conspiracy of self interest that functions together in tandem to shift wealth upward, to clamp down totalitarian controls, and to transform this country and from the world's exemplary democracy into a corporate kleptocracy and a very, very oppressive oligarchical system – the kind of system that we fought a revolution to overthrow in 1776."

I appears that the truly devastating implications of Merchans grave misgivings have escaped those crippled with an infantile mind.
Either that or this poster is spewing his usual BS.

No way! Why would he blatantly lie about something that will be so easy for us to fact check. No, I ignore his posts so I can surely believe it is one of them, I for one am looking forward to it. I always like to think that those who are posting have something to offer and I am very happy to not be in an echo chamber. So I would like him to point out the post to us.

You must not have seen Alien, it was based on early experiments with that mRNA vaccine.

And the Trump lovers will just believe whatever he says, without ever looking at any of the evidence or other info associated with the case. Just "Trump says it, I believe it, that settles it".

Sad. Christians should never be that blindly loyal to any human.
Trump is adorable. And lovable.
Kamala is loathsome. And reptillian.

So I'm voting for Trump.
