I prefer solitude. I was begging my brother if we can trade rooms but he said no. The living room is like double his room but you get no privacy. It’s connected to the kitchen, the back door and the hallway. Up until yesterday, my brothers desk was in my room. Fortunately he just moved his desk into his room, so no more days and nights of him being in my room. So now I get a little more privacy but my mother is up at all hours and she’ll come into the kitchen late at night or pass through the living room to go out the back door. For a while I felt like the lack of privacy was messing with my mind. It was so nice when my brother and I shared a room, even though it was really compact. I’d be able to have solitary time with God, which now a days I only get that around this time.
I rarely ever get lonely, even though I'm alone a lot. After my dad passed away I actually felt feelings of loneliness. It's a sad feeling. One can feel just as lonely amongst people as the could without anyone around at all. I can't imagine what people who aren't like me would feel like if they had all my solitude. But I live on the edge of the country, therefor I have a lot of visitors...critters, that is lol.

Of course! I’m about biblical EVERYTHING! I want to get it so engrained that if I get Alzheimer’s or dementia at an old age that I want to at least remember Jesus.
Also, Creation has a lot of articles you can read online. Their magazine isn't free, but they do email newsletters regularly and those articles are free to read.

AIG also has magazine that isn't free, but they have many articles online that can be read for free...

Wow, thank you! Sure beats all of the donation letters I get from different churches. Never donate to a mega church. It’s nonstop and never ends. I thought to myself, maybe I’ll donate to the fellowship of Christian’s and Jews while this whole war is going on. Boy was that a bad move.

I’ll be sure to subscribe to the free physical copy. That way I’m not on a screen 24/7 and I can replace my mother’s people magazine collection.

Sorry about your dad by the way. I also snooped on your profile, sorry about your mom too. I don’t know what is going to happen when I lose both of them. I only lived with my dad for about 6 months my entire life. I moved away from family when I was 15 into my friends families house and his dad happened to be a pastor. So they basically gave me their faith, even though I found out about Jesus when I was 6 and was baptized that month. And I was apart of a Bible study when I was 12 and it was the first time I went to my main church, and then when i was 26 I accepted Jesus as my lord and savior and had a giant transformation, and I moved back home with my mother and little brother to help be a role model for him, since he is 20 years younger than me and I’ve been here for the last ten years.

That must have been at the same time I snooped on your profile lol. Thank you for your condolences! My mother passed away in 2020. I hadn't lived with her since I was 13, but I still grieved. My dad was the closest person to me all my life, so his death was a huge blow.

I am elated to hear that you were exposed to the Lord at a young age! My family wasn't a church going family, but my dad was a believer and he must have been an influence on my early childhood because I can't remember a time when I didn't believe. He also influenced me toward Creationism (though he was a different type of creationist).

Creation Ministries has an office in the Atlanta metro. I've visited their office! And I got my pic taken next to their big dino. It looks like it's about to eat me lol. Anyway, I enjoyed shopping for books there. Maybe one of these days I can get to the Institute for Creation Research in Dallas. I'll go change my profile pic to the dino pic lol.

The only time I didn’t know about Jesus was from when I was born, until that woman that I met at a park in Irvine, CA where I was living at the time told me about Jesus when I was 6. Literally that same month, my sister and I were baptized and went to Sunday school a couple times around Christmas time. It must of been around Christmas time because I remember a gigantic stocking filled with tons of presents in front of the church. But even though I went there I didn’t know what a Christian was. When I went to Bible study when I was 12, an ex heroine addict women who got her children taken away from her named Robin Bowers invited my family to her apartment for a Bible study. I still have her picture up in my room cause I went to her celebration of life when she passed this year. I only saw her that summer that she invited us to Bible study, so people were shocked that I went to her celebration of life. She had a huge effect on the community and they had me stand up during the sermon just see how far back she was able to make an impact on people. I was in her first ever Bible study.

My family wasn’t a church going family either. My dad believes aliens created everything. My mom grew up going to Catholic and Christian Bible studies and churches but once she left home when she was 16 or 18, she left all of that behind her. She says she still believes till this day but her habits and things she does makes me question her faith.

That is smashing that she turned her life around in such an impactful way! What a blessing.

In my late teens, though I was a Christian I wanted really understand what I believed. I went to the library and checked out a bunch of Christian books and Biblical Creation books. Back then there were a lot of good Christian books and there were even Creation books! They've since took all the really good books out and there's no sign of a Creation book there. Also, I went to the nearby thrift shop and someone had just donated a bunch of Christian material, some was Bible study workbooks. I devoured it all and went back for more. It was a time of really focusing on my Christian faith.

I didn’t know you can follow people on here! This website is getting more and more like a Christian social platform. Did you see what the app or web app is capable of doing? Apparently, there is audio chat and video chats for like Bible studies or what ever medium people want to communicate with. I hope they make an iPhone, iPad and Mac app eventually. I sadly am apart of the Apple ecosphere.

I think you allowing me to dive into that world deeper is going to really sculpted and strengthen my beliefs, to where I’d be able to argue and win against someone with countering beliefs, in the real world.

I noticed that just by reading the Bible every day for two years, when I recall stories out loud to people in real life that I’m able to articulate more details of the stories when someone has an ear for them.

She almost had the entire church filled up just to celebrate her celebration of life. She made such an impact on the community for being someone who died poor. Her tagline apparently to every one was “how’s your walk with the lord?”

Hmmm, I'm one of those old school people. I just use my laptop like I was back in the 90s lol. I'm sadly behind when it comes to apps and chats and things. On the other hand, I'm capable of replacing a screen on a laptop (I know 'cause I've had to do it lol, but social stuffs I'm lacking).

----
I'm elated that the links have been met with such warmth!

I get a similar feeling to wanting to learn about creation as I do when I’m craving a glass of wine. Fortunately I stopped drinking again cause last week I thought I could get away with drinking 2oz one day and 2oz the next day and by day three it’s the only thing I’m thinking about. So I dumped the whole bottle out and tossed it. I originally bought the bottle to celebrate by drinking one glass of wine with a baguette, as if i was eating Jesus’ body and drinking his blood cause I completed every single book of the Bible for the first time. But that night I felt like there was a dark spirit surrounding me. And then two months later (didn’t know wine expires in a week) I drink the 2 oz each day. Last thing I want to do is go down that road again. The Holy Spirit won’t let me cause I instantly know it’s wrong and there something off about it but I get the same craving in my mind looking at the biblical creationist stuff. So it’s like a healthier alternative.

You are better off not going to any social media or things of that nature. It’s pure garbage. A lot of people that fight over really petty things such as what is a more superior diet, carnivore or vegan. Then I come in and say “you’re omnivores!” It’s like being an audience member at a Jerry springer show.

I'm so thankful we have the Holy Spirit to guide us. If we shouldn't be doing something (or should be doing something) we are moved and guided. It's a blessing.

Biblical Creation has been a blessing to me. I loved science in school, but didn't like the evolution stuff. Now I can have plenty of science, I can't even keep up with all the articles. From astronomy to micro organisms and more. It's incredible.

I have a facebook, but I rarely post there. Mostly I just go there to communicate once in a while with my best friend ('cause she is on there allllllll the time lol).

Speaking of her, I should probably go try to get some sleep. I have a fall outing to go to today with my best friend. She's been looking forward to it and I better be awake and full of spice lol. It's 6am here...I think 4am there? I've enjoyed our communication! It's a chilly night here, but that warmth has made a difference. I hope the rest of your night is peaceful without too many disturbances!

I was about to say the same thing. It’s like we are connected by the body of Christ or what science calls quantum entanglement, where everyone is connected to one another, from what I remember.

Goodnight! See you on here next time!
