That wouldn't be so bad if they helped but not only they don't help but they put barriers to prevent you from helping the customer.

You're dealing with a crazy amount of egos basically.
Everyone that is a manager, their head gets too big and they think that they are the king of the world now so they don't treat their employees well.
During my experience in different jobs, i have found that only a handful of managers protect their team. Most of them see their team as a "tool" so they can be promoted to a higher position.
Very very few, take time to thank their subordinates, give them fair reviews (which means that the manger has to do his job and keep up with the 20-30 people in their team to know what they're doing) and who encourage their subordinates to seek different training for better salary.

My reaction to the email is this. There are as of 2024 3 million Federal Government employees that Musk is sending these emails to. It occurs to me that there is no possible way that Musk could even open and read that many emails being sent to him in a weeks time and so the weakest link is Musk himself. I hope they all do send him those 3 million emails because it would probably crash his system if they flooded it with them. Then week after week do it again and again,lol. He doesn't care what they write in their response because he's not going to read them all anyway,he cant, he is just seeking to justify why a large amount of them are about to loose their jobs. https://usafacts.org/articles/how-many-people-work-for-the-federal-government/

That's certainly one approach, for example there are groups of technicians and engineers in one of my jobs where the new manager asked them to log tickets so they can justify their job by explaining what they do.
Some quit, which is what the manager wants. But others 'bombarded' him with details for about 3 months and then on the next quarterly meeting he asked them to stop.
So yeah, it's valid.

Monday,recorded what I did for Musk.
Tuesday,Made up something I could tell Musk I did.
Wednesday,sat around and stewed because Musk was making me do this instead of my job.
Thursday,Made myself a promise I would not repeat yesterday's stewing and made up more stuff I did.
Friday, Sat around and wondered if anyone would even read my email and ended up sending it anyway in hopes they do and I get promoted to a higher paying position in DOGE.

True story, the team that was recording tickets to the new manager included bathroom breaks, lunch breaks, what they had for lunch, phone calls that they got during the day, and when customers stopped them in the hallways to ask a question.
This was on top of their regular job duties which means more tickets.
Then the last ticket was always : Spent 45 minutes logging tickets in the system for today :ROFL::ROFL:

After spending the majority of their life seeking after their own glory, and encountering disappointment after disappointment actually achieving it, it occurred to me that Trump and Musk might've come to the realization that Jesus is more than willing to share His glory... :unsure:

AI can read them in an hour. He probably has noted a number of jobs that AI can do, so after reading them they can calculate the % of the workweek that can be replaced by AI for each job.

This is the kind of Data a CEO of a company developing AI and robots would want to know.

Not sure if you watched the Hannity/ Musk/ Trump interview but he ask them about the funding of DOGE in it. Musk said when he ask that actually the engineers(maybe others I cant remember) are actually federal employees. I don't think that's the way it was at first though. It's on YouTube at about 3 hours long.

In the future maybe but seeing he sent emails and is awaiting emails tends to make me think AI isn't yet in the picture. Using AI to sift through Federal employees top secret work seems risky to me anyway for the present time.

I heard some of it. And I think it was employees at the Treasury who helped. But these people are already employed, so not an increase in costs.

An example of Federal employees I would think it not good to let AI converse with is Pantex in Amarillo Texas.
