Civil unrest is not civil war.
That would be correct.

Civil unrest is about class / power / privilege not about left and right.

Oh dear does that sound to "left" for you ... actually it is history.

What I don't remember is any conservative groups rioting or taking up arms against citizens-- aka civil war.
If this does happen , then I would say," Dads home, you better be on your best behavior!"

It's just the spoiled brats having their tantrums at this moment.

That is all about the left. Envy, strife and jealousy.

We aren't Americans or Canadians.....We are "poor" Americans and Canadians. We are "powerless" Americans and Canadians. We are "underprivileged " Americans and Canadians.

The Left survives by creating these false narratives. If they actually fixed the "problem"......the left would fade away.

I am not a leftist.

And again that is not the point.

You keep making this a left / right issue... it is not.
False narratives.... how about the weapons of mass destruction, how many Americans died because of that false narrative?

Everything that I have read from you.....Doesn't reveal that.

What am I missing?
I am not caught up in the left / right false dialectic maybe?

"One Nation Under Blackmail" is an excellent read... completely supported by facts and details.

You are old enough to remember a riot in 1967?

I do remember the Rodney King riots. And the George Floyd riots, the 2020 summer of love riots in Portland and Seattle.

What I don't remember is any conservative groups rioting or taking up arms against citizens-- aka civil war.

Civil unrest is not civil war.
Yes, the civil unrest looks like it did five years ago, but it isn't the same.

5 years ago we were not at war with Russia and Iran.

5 years ago we did not put an embargo on Chinese goods.

5 years ago we did not have AI taking jobs whole sale.

5 years ago the real estate market was not collapsing.

5 years ago they used the riots to oust Trump, this is not an election year, Trump was elected to deport the illegals. This is very different.

You can't simply say A looks like A' without considering all the other factors.

I said this before, the embargo on China was designed to give manufacturers the nudge to come to the US and use 3d printers and robots and AI. That has taken place. Those businesses have left China and they aren't going back. The war is because of AI, the world leaders realize that whoever has the best AI will rule the world. If we consider AI to be the driver of a Formula 1 race car then we realize there is a lot more involved than simply the driver. The US has an advantage on the car, on the engine, and on the team that will keep it running. Even if other AI is better, the US AI is doubling in power every six months. All they need to do is stifle other countries for six months and they will surpass them. So then Russia, China and Iran have two options, live in a world in which the US is the master, or attack the US. We just arrested 240 child traffickers. These guys must have been protected by people in the government. So they all have two choices go into a US prison as a known child trafficker, a career path that has the highest mortality rate, or turn states witness. The clock is ticking, all the pedophiles in the US government are cornered. They can commit suicide or they can go down shooting. When I look at these protests I conclude they are going down shooting. This is too well organized to be spontaneous, too well funded (I heard a report I will look to share a link). How long before Kash Patel and Dan Bongino find out who is funding this? It is a desperation move that destroys any chance of winning the midterm elections. Therefore it is war.

You're worse than Wolfie from Germany who has no clue of the political and cultural system in USA and says "I'm not a leftist".

You have to understand that in China the workers are essentially tax free which is why their salary is significantly lower and yet is still a living wage. Local governments got their revenue from selling land and doing real estate deals and the Federal government got their money from businesses. As a result of the tariffs businesses have left the country leaving the real estate market glutted and no one is buying up land for real estate deals. Also, with trade down tax revenue for the Federal government is down. China's economy was patterned after a parasite feeding on the US and Europe. Between Trump, AI, robots, and 3d printers China is getting crushed. What is incredible is not that this happened, it was inevitable. What was incredible was the speed. One factory owner said that one week he had 30 containers shipped out, the next week it was five and the next week it was 0. Just like that everything was gone.

Are we headed to Civil War?

I would say the same dynamics are there when we look at the last one we had. One party wanted cheap labor and hated the President that was elected fearing he would take away their cheap labor.

Down in New Orleans it got where they would not use their slaves to work on the docs. Reasoning being is they were to expensive to use. So they used the Irish with the potato famine going on and the mass migration of Irish from there to here. The Irish would work for wages that were lower than what it took for slave owners to house and feed their slaves. Death or injury to a slave was more costly than the death or injury of the Irish.

We hear it from one parties mouth right now if we don't bring in the cheaper labor the illegals, who is going to work these jobs. Crocket just recently said she and blacks are not going to pick cotton anymore so we need the illegals. Another Dem congresswoman just recently said we need the illegals to wipe our a##.

So yeah the same dynamic of the last civil war is here cheap labor and hate of a president that could change that for them.

Except for the fact the cheap labor is not within a defined geographic location but spread out in all parts of the economy.

I am pretty sure the Repubs also hated Biden just as much... so there is that.
