Social distancing works at reducing the viral load that you get infected with, that in turn reduces how many people get really sick. We can reduce it from 5% to 1% by simply using social distancing techniques. The two most effective are: don't go into public if you have a fever or if you have symptoms.

Masks are not effective and should not be mandatory.

The vaccine will be most effective if it is limited to only those who are at the greatest risk if they get covid. If we had done those two things we could have gone back to work already.

99.5% of people survive Covid, if you eliminate the 5% of the population that is at the greatest risk by giving them the vaccine the number drops to about 99.8%. We now have 3 effective treatments, and oxygen will be sufficient for 80% of those in intensive care.

However, if you give everyone the vaccine then this is not true. You will get new variants spreading rapidly because the vaccine is very specific in what it protects you against. You will need a second shot, a third shot, and so on. However, we have no idea what the long term effect is of going into your mRNA and changing it that much. It is very possible that your immune system will become significantly weaker to the Flu and other viral infections.

On the other hand everyone who had Covid and recovered is now immune. Instead of ignoring that if you counted those you would realize we are already close to 70%.

I wonder where long covid comes into that though ? For us Christians, death isn't something we fear anyway. But being disabled long term with chronic fatigue from covid is a concerning thought ! Particularly for those of us who have had ME/CFS from cocksackie virus and don't want to go through that again!

I think social distancing should only be required if people have symptoms or have knowingly being exposed to covid and tested positive.

It just isn't economically viable to lock down

to be honest I don't believe God wants us fearing either covid or shots. Prayerfully decide whether or not to have the vaxx, sure. Fear? No. We don't fear because we are His and have been made perfect in love.
Well said! And it's not anyone's job to walk into a gathering of believers and instill a mental state of terror, look even if they might be right about a few things. (and seldom are people right about everything) I think everyone has a little bit of fragmented knowledge when it comes to this subject. I think it's ok to share with one they have concerns about the vaccines safety you have to be living under a rock not to have at least heard of any of it. The main focus of the unvaccneated to the vaccinated should be look if you've taken the vaccine don't worry about it or fret and stay in the joy of the Lord and faith. If there is anything nefarious about the vaccines we can claim and declare immunity from it Mark 16:17-18 and if there's things in the vaccines that are good and they produce a positive effect then we can declare in agreement it'll do it's work.

Satan wants to crush the mental state of believers and he doesn't mind using some well meaning Christians to do it. I think we need to be smarter than that and know his devices. Wherever we go let it be true of us that we leave a spirit of edification and comfort...not grief trepidation and worry.

That is what social distancing is supposed to be, you don't enter work or other public places if you have a fever or symptoms. That is it. Everything else is for show.

Amen!

to be honest when people talk about the serpent seed and DNA becoming corrupted by a vaccine I tend to think of that scripture about "itching ears."

Those buying what the government is selling will do what they are told. Those who arnt buying will resist. This is a dead horse but by all means continue beating it.

^ not for show, but for litagation purposes.

the mask and vax stuff is put in at the behest of big corporations to keep from lawsuits from being filed.

example-

remember late march 2020 most restaurants were open for take out with dining areas closed .

by early april, most allowed employees only inside, with drive thru and outside take out only.

what changed? corporate lawyers advised to do that.

litagation.
