which SF59 did you mean, btw? i forgot to reply too. starflyer went through a lot of changes over the years, and thinking about it, the thing that maybe really unifies all the albums is the tone of Martin's guitar, and the sense of melody in his playing. like some certain singer's voice, i recognize it right away and know it's him
I have all of their studio albums and some of the EPs. I initially got into them for their earlier stuff that sounded more grungy, but liked how they evolved over time. Yeah, it really is Martin more than a band. I even sort of like Bon Voyage, which is his music with his wife singing instead.

Yes, I do. I don't normally listen to secular reggae because the pot smoking references.
i meant gospel reggae, of course. there is a lot out there - just has to be looked for, is all

I am revisting some of my old faves. Mind if I post some here?

I loved Mercury, but it’s another one of those not really strong on the Christian message, but it’s a great atmospheric album and not much like anything else I listen to.
