When I was 18 I used to "cruise the strand" in my 66 Buick listening to Wolfman Jack on XERB; (The mighty 1090 AM) from Rosarito Beach, Baja California (Mexico).

that's awesome... my first car was a 66 Malibu SS, 454 big block... such good times DRIVING, now reminded of this...

I tried to look at your profile to see what age group you're in, but it's blocked. My dad listened to Hank Williams Sr and mom Sinatra and Elvis. Meet the Beatles was the first album that I bought. Being a father I got used to stuff like Smashmouth, Blues Traveler and Sublime.

The first non denominational Christians I met played "Rainy Day Women" (aka, Everybody must get Stoned) often. you must pay attention to the words in order to get the message.

I worked a few years at "Melodyland Christian Center" and we held modern Christian music concerts at least every week. And growing up in L.A. The Wolfman, Casey Casem and Huggie boy show (lowrider music) was on the air every night as well as Jimmy Buffet and Led Zeppelin. I'm also fond of Woodie & Arlo Guthrie and Blues like Billy Holiday & Nina Simon.
