I apologize. The first statement I started writing to someone but thought better of it. I thought I had erased it. The second statement I was just being goofy.
I have great respect for those who are fighting against various medical difficulties. And still greater respect for those who minister to others from their experience. Keep up the good work...for your labor in Christ is a thing of beauty.
I did a typo to you when I first connected to CC.
I wrote one word instead of the sentence I was trying to write, when my hand slipped and accidentally sent it,
But it worked for me not against. 🤭

When we think or say "I have this____ condition" it can become a part of our identity, I am being educated about this by the Father in this season.
Jesus commanded the spirit of infirmity to leave, and it did, we can do so in His name and He has promised to do it.:)(y)
blessings all
Like brother Paul, some conditions remain.
Recently I had pain, then I remembered that scripture that says, you have not because you ask not.
So I asked, and praise God the pain left.

Does the fig tree represent Israel? I heard that in passing somewhere.
I believe so, especially here…
Luke 21:29-32 KJV
And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;
[30] When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.
[31] So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.
[32] Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.

We even sing the song,
“Though the fig tree….

Habakkuk 3:1-2,17-18 KJV
A prayer of Habakkuk the prophet upon Shigionoth.
[2] O Lord, I have heard thy speech, and was afraid: O Lord, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy.
[17] Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls:
[18] Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.

The fig tree is a symbol/the emblem of the Judean nation, which seemed to be thriving -- with an abundance of leaves -- but spiritually it was producing no fruit. Jesus often rebuked the scribes and Pharisees for this lack of spiritual fruit, and in the same chapter of Matthew He concludes (in the parable of the vineyard) by saying, "Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof" (verse 43). Verse 45 continues, "And when the chief priests and Pharisees had heard His parables, they perceived that He spake of them." The cursing of the fig tree represented a curse on the nation of Judea.

In verse 20, when Jesus' disciples saw the fig tree wither away, they "marveled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away!" This was a prophecy of the coming destruction of the Judean nation by the Roman army under Titus in AD 70, only thirty-seven years later (which also brought an end to temple worship).

The destruction was also prophesied in another parable in Luke 13:6-9: "A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none. Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground? And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it: And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down."

The three years of seeking fruit in the parable refer to the three years of Jesus' ministry. For these three years Jesus sought but found no fruit among the Judeans, and so God was minded to cut the tree down. But the dresser of the vineyard said to give it one more year, and he would fertilize it (by the preaching of his disciples) to see if any fruit would be produced. But in the fourth year (Hebrew inclusive counting) it was evident there was still no fruit, since they rejected and crucified Him, and so there was nothing left for the tree but to be cut down.

The fall of the Judean nation was also prophesied earlier by John the Baptist when he said, "And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire" (Matthew 3:10). source

God wants us to be fruitful in his kingdom.
Such beautiful roses are formed when they have been treated with dung/manure.
So never complain about the people you have to work with. Or health issues.

They are Gods hand, to perfect and mould us.

Thanks for these beautiful verses and reminders. Suffer is hard. My daughter is estranged from the family. Son I struggling. This is a shock to us. Closed Godly family. Don't know where she is in this world. I have to force myself to stop crying. We don't know what Happened, we are as shocked and lots of questions like anyone else. Faith is shaken. Trying to hold onto God's Word
Pray and pray.
If we seriously want answers, (and of course we do) we need to search every corner of our heart.
Of course I don’t know every detail of your situation, but I am definitely feeling your pain. I also have children.
For me, talking to God, works wonders.
Especially when you are 100% Christian.
We cannot be compromisers and expect God to answer. Many Christians are very worldly I find.
If your daughter grew up knowing the scriptures, that is helpful for her.
I will pray for her. 🙏
May God bless and comfort your hearts.

My first cancers were painful. I stop counting how many I have had in my life. Each time God used them to bring others to Jesus though me.

I am scard of heights so I asked Jesus for a closed elevator.
(No more imperfections, faults and failures).
1 Corinthians 15:52 KJV

What is the point of daily suffering?

The god of this world created, through Adam's fall, a world that is a terrible terrible place.

How bad is it?
Its so incredibly evil that the purest, kindest, most honest and compassionate person to ever be born, had his skin ripped off down to the ribs, before He was eventually nailed to a Tree.
The NT says that Jesus The Christ, was "marred beyond recognition"....before He went to the Cross.
His beard was pulled out, and The Lord's face was beaten until the swelling and the cuts and gashes masked Christ's identity.

He was dying in your place for your sin, and it COST HIM SO MUCH to do this for you.

= "God is Love"

So, do you think this world that did that to beautiful JESUS.... desires to treat you better than it treated God's Son?
Never believe it.

So, Reader.......That is the world we live in, and its the literal product of the Devil.
Thank Father GOD for His daily Help. !

The only Good in this world is God's help, = grace, kindness, compassion, mercy, and Cross of Christ.

There are different reasons God may bring suffering. I assume you are wondering why you are allowed to suffer when you are a good person but I will still try explain both as I understand it.
For bad people God may allow suffering in order to make them aware of him and help them see that life is more peaceful and fulfilling when they live a good life than when they are pursuing the course they are.
For good people God teaches us to become more dependent on him so that once linked with him we can live fulfilling lives. He also purifies us from sin through suffering.
However in this world some things just happen so to speak. It would not be God that would have wanted you to suffer. It may have just happened, been a result of personal bad life choices or as it often is it may be the devil that is bringing suffering into your life. To counter misfortune and suffering that God never intended you to go through you need to have a close relationship with him and live in christ as the bible says. You dont have to be perfect to start to walk with God, you just have to come close to him. Reading the bible, praying morning and evening and through situations in the day. Learning to do good and not evil. This way you walk with God and as God did for Job he will put a hedge of fire arround you to protect you from evil.

I try to remember that we live in a fallen world. This world is not our home. Satan is the prince of this world, so we as Christians are going to suffer.
