"we don't know if something has happened to her to drive him away"
So, many of the women here are quick to blame him, but when a man suggests it may be a shared problem I am "judgemental".
Alas, men do not always blame the woman, but the women ALWAYS blame the man!

Where did I blame the man? I said he has an addiction. How is that placing blame? You don't know the deeper issues each of them may have. What you are doing is giving your opinion. And your opinion seems to be coming from a failed relationship of your own. It's not fair to project that onto this situation or any other. Women always blame men is your opinion,it is not fact. Projecting our own relationship issues on others is no help to them at all. Again,if your can't be objective, and clearly you cannot, pray for the person and move on.

YES INDEED!
and this goes back to what I posted, men do not always blame the woman, women tend to always blame the man.
I did not blame the woman, looking to both individuals for the
solution was the mention, and boy did the women jump on that!
It sounds to me that women often get upset with you and thus, tell you it's your fault. There are nagging and complaining women out there. In fact, Solomon spoke about them in the book of Proverbs.

However, not ALL women are naggers and complainers. It is important to understand the difference. Solomon also spoke of a virtuous woman........I don't believe she would be blaming the man.

Well, actually it's a "virtuous" woman that is more precious than rubies. I'm sure you meant to say "virtuous."

The bible says, and I quote, "there are NONE righteous, no not one"..
I hope you aren't hinting that the OP was not a righteous woman...
blue and kaylagrl, don't be so critical of shittim....he actually agreed and posted that a woman can be more precious than rubies. Let's rebuild his confidence in the fact that there are women that have the "law of kindness" on their tongue. :p:love:(y)

Proverbs 31:26 King James Version (KJV)
26 She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.

I do see what you are saying. A pity that both men and women have a jaded view of the other sex because they have had bad relationships. They judge everyone by this standard. Sad.

Yes, I too have fallen prey to judging ALL men because of my bad relationships.

As I look back through high school and the young adult years, I find that in all my serious relationships my boyfriend cheated on me with another girl, behind my back. I never understood this because why stay with me and cheat? Why not break up with me first and then pursue the other girl?

When I married my husband I was so convinced that I was finally loved and believed with all my heart that I could trust him to never cheat on me and I could keep him completely sexually satisfied because I was very beautiful, fun, playful and sensual. Well.......... I was wrong again. :(

Now, I am completely convinced that there is no man out there that can love ONLY ONE woman.

Even the kings of Israel had so many wives................. Yet, God only made ONE WOMAN for Adam............ So, perhaps it might be possible......

I wonder if there is such a thing as a "virtuous" man?
