Life is tough, rougher than normal for the past couple years in fact. My God is bigger, tougher and rougher, though.
God will sustain us. God sends His Spirit to help within us and to ignite God's people around us. God may be powerful but sometimes we feel our human nature get lost in grief, fear, exhaustion, loneliness, etc. Life is tough and will either make you or break you. I hope you are doing good. If you need encouragement, wisdom, advice or just a listening ear, I am positive me or someone else in here can fill that role. Stay strong and be blessed.

Life can always be viewed as the glass either half full or half empty. Don't be on the edge but rest in the peace that Christ provides. The disciples in the storm we're on edge but Jesus had already told them He was going to the other side of the water. Jesus went to sleep and all the disciples had to do was remember Jesus said where He was going and nothing would stop the Son of God in less it was in the will of God.

How is life treating you?

As usual. Proving it has a sense of humor. And at times, I'm the punchline. :giggle:

I live with schizophrenia, bipolar, anxiety, and depression. I'm blessed though. I don't let the things of this world hold me back. I'm on multiple meds and live on disability, but I live a blessed life with my giving to God.

Your testimony is a blessing to me.

Your faith is inspiring. I envision a huge vault of gold waiting for you in heaven. Unfortunately, I think I may still be working on my first copper penny. :)

It is stable so that is good. Nothing life-threatening. May be helping a pastor start a church so that will be a blessing. We trying to find a small building to rent. He is asked all the time where he preaches and some are already asking to help by donating.

Why tired, confused and anxious?
OK. Well, tired because I couldn't sleep which is why I was on the computer at that hour here. Confused and anxious because I found a site link through a friend that made me wonder about finding my way back into the Bible and the faith I'd had as a teen. They knew I was considering that return and thought the origin story at the site would help me navigate my way back through the true scriptures. Those are their wording.

The confused part comes from what I've read there when it is said the new testament wasn't really of God but was made possible by pagan Romans. That's what the site teaches that I had looked into at behest of a friend. I was listening to the site podcast while here.
This is that site. If I'm allowed to share this here. https://www.torahofmessiah.org/

This is what I read first. All my life all I've ever wanted is to know the truth about God and Jesus, or Yeshua, or is it Emmanuel? I maybe should have stayed off the journey back and just simply let God decide if I'm worthy. Because this all is why I couldn't sleep. And why I was so glad to have found Christians to talk to here.

Today, Yeshua (Jesus) and his followers would attend synagogues and avoid churches

Christians are casualties of history's longest lasting and most despicably deceitful conspiracy. It is time to expose the deceit and rescue those victims who wish to be and who truly love God and Messiah (Christ) from the bondage of idolatrous and lawless darkness in which they are unwittingly imprisoned.

The beliefs and practices of Christianity do NOT represent the authentic New Testament faith. Pagan Roman despots kidnapped, overturned, and replaced that faith approximately 300 years after Yeshua's (Jesus') death and resurrection.

The concealment and replacement of truth began in the mid-second century under the Roman emperor Publius Aelius Hadrianus (Hadrian). Hadrian renamed Jerusalem, Aelia Capitolina, after himself and the pagan god Jupiter Capitolinus. He erected and dedicated a temple to Jupiter on Jerusalem's Holy Temple Mount and other pagan temples elsewhere. He banned Jews from the city, forbad circumcision, Torah study, and teaching of Torah. Hadrian solidified the term "Palestine" to refer to the land of Israel, and to this day Israel's enemies falsely claim that Jews are "occupiers" of "Palestine". Basically, Hadrian obsessively strove to eradicate Torah, which included eradicating those who revered it and refused to convert to paganism. Among the slain were souls numbered with the earliest, purest-in-faith followers of Yeshua the Messiah (Jesus Christ). Perhaps most significant for its subsequent lasting effect on Christianity, he appointed a man who obviously shared his Torah-hating pagan ideology as the first non-Jewish leader of “the church” in Jerusalem. That man was bishop Marcus. Prior to that all leaders had been Torah observant Jews with some, perhaps all, being relatives of Yeshua. Afterwards, the Torah policy reversed, from being embraced to being opposed, and Jewish leadership ceased. Thankfully, Hadrian was unable to eradicate the Jewish people - guardians of Torah - but he did initiate what eventually proved to be a successful corruption and paganizing of “Christianity”.

THAT is precisely when and where the current “Christianity” faith system began to take shape. It is understandable if you were unaware. Christianity prefers that its early corruption remains lost in the fog of history. Truth is Christianity's greatest threat.

We must remember the reliability of scripture is backed by archeology, manuscripts, early church fathers writings, secular accounts that speak on the early Christian movement and historians have shown how accurate the names of people, historical events, and geographically was the writings of the NT.

The beliefs and practices of Christianity do NOT represent the authentic New Testament faith.
Pagan Roman despots kidnapped, overturned, and replaced that faith approximately 300 years after Yeshua's (Jesus') death and resurrection.
The point is we have evidence to show both the OT and NT was recorded before 300 A.D. Of course, we also know by this evidence the Gnostic gospels and Judaism sects broke off to include a more works base salvation or the opposite as one gnostic sect believed they were now free to sin. Paul warned of this group by name.

And by the time of Constantine even though I do support him theologically. The council of Nicea only confirmed what had already been written. But just as today mankind can still interpret those writings differently due to sin or ignorance.

So I would like to place a pebble in the shoe of this site you referenced. They claim here https://www.torahofmessiah.org/facts-from-acts that Jesus is not God incarnate. Okay, this is an absolute claim and if wrong then how can we trust a site if proven wrong but also do not take into account the counter-evidence?

So I will ask do you believe Jesus is God in the flesh?

I'll tell you that you normally see this argument from none Messianic Jews, Islam, and atheists. Jews don't even acknowledge Jesus as Messiah and especially not God, Islam sees Jesus as prophet and Messiah but not God, Atheists see obviously that God doesn't exist number 1 or Jesus was just a man. All 3 also claim the modern Bible or NT is unreliable.

The Torah with the NT both point to Jesus as God incarnate.

https://www.gotquestions.org/is-Jesus-God.html

Genesis 1:1-3 already shows God, the Spirit, and the Word when God spoke. The Word later in John 1 we learn the Word became flesh.

Finally, we must know that if God is all-powerful then He easily could defend the accuracy of His Word. If not then what kind of all-powerful God would he be? How could we be accountable to the Word if it was corrupted before our time?

I'll not go further in less you need me to. Hope this helps.

Have you looked for any churches that may be for sale? Maybe look around for closed churches or what is labeled, "off market" churches. An example below in my area.

Good idea. I'll probably just talk to a realtor. We do have one location in mind that was a church. The recent owners built a bigger church.
Let us know when you find the perfect place. God is a great realtor. ;) :)
