Saying 1

17 Pay attention and turn your ear to the sayings of the wise; apply your heart to what I teach, 18 for it is pleasing when you keep them in your heart and have all of them ready on your lips. 19 So that your trust may be in the Lord, I teach you today, even you. 20 Have I not written thirty sayings for you, sayings of counsel and knowledge, 21 teaching you to be honest and to speak the truth, so that you bring back truthful reports to those you serve?

Think of this as the Black Belt coaching for people to battle Satan. The first lesson is always about balance. They try to get you off balance, say something that is not honest and then they will jump on that. When cops question a suspect they can lie with impunity, but if the suspect says one lie they will jump on that. No one cares that those in authority lied. So rule #1 speak the truth. Jesus Christ is the truth. The only way to stay balanced is to speak Jesus Christ.

Saying 2

22 Do not exploit the poor because they are poor and do not crush the needy in court, 23 for the Lord will take up their case and will exact life for life.

You crush things that are much smaller than you. You can crush an ant. Remember, compared to the Lord you are the ant. Treat others the way you want to be treated. I don’t want to be crushed by the Lord so therefore I do not crush others. This is the golden rule of the Lord’s judgement (the corollary to the golden rule).

Saying 3

24 Do not make friends with a hot-tempered person, do not associate with one easily angered, 25 or you may learn their ways and get yourself ensnared.

These first rules are all defensive. Speak truth, remember you are the ant, fear the Lord and watch out for snares and traps. Most Christians who wish to be in spiritual warfare are not serious about that, they don’t think that the enemy is trying to lay a trap for them. Instead of speaking Jesus they retreat and say nothing. The best defense is a good offense. If the enemy tries to sift you it will be in court, He is the accuser of the brethren. He will try and take some word or action of yours and use it to condemn you. So then, fill the pages with words about Jesus. The minute He quotes you in court He opens the door for you to use every single word you have spoken, He has made it relevant. Turn his accusation of you into an opportunity to speak the gospel. Second be humble. I love what Michael Jordan said, knowing what he knows now he never would have agreed to the “Be like Mike” campaign. That campaign is not humble. As long as you view yourself as an ant they can’t cut you down to size, you are already as small as they can make you.

Saying 4

26 Do not be one who shakes hands in pledge or puts up security for debts; 27 if you lack the means to pay, your very bed will be snatched from under you.

In other words be prudent. If they can’t get you with bad companions they will try using a scam artist. I once talked to a man who was a scam artist, he said he appealed to people’s greed. The way you avoid being taken in a scam is you deal with your greed, your desire to “get rich quick”.

Saying 5

28 Do not move an ancient boundary stone set up by your ancestors.

Our ancestors gave us the Constitution. The Bill of Rights are our ancient boundary stones. Treat those as sacred. The only way to move them is by a 2/3rd majority in both the House and the Senate. Treat that as gospel. Our ancestors were the 12 apostles, the New Testament is our boundary stone. Do not twist or change that word. Do not say that some of those verses are out of date, this is the twentieth century. No, the proper response is “I am an ant, I may not understand this verse, but who am I to presume to move it”.

Saying 6

29 Do you see someone skilled in their work? They will serve before kings; they will not serve before officials of low rank.

Finally, if you are ambitious that is fine, focus that ambition on becoming skilled in your work.

Posts 1482 and 1483 are really great in my opinion. They reveal this prophecy in Ezekiel about MaGog. I always thought Magog was China, but no, It is a group of about 5-6 countries including Afghanistan, all of which end with the term "stan". This chapter in Ezekiel depicts this major war between a very big alliance of countries (all of which are Islamic) allied with Russia and they attack Israel. He does an excellent job of showing how this war "ushers in the Tribulation" because God fights for Israel and destroys an army of 60 million arrayed against Israel and so the Tribulation begins with this event. So let's define a few terms: Jacob's trouble refers to the ten days from the feast of trumpets to Atonement and those ten days depict ten years. The last seven are the tribulation and they begin with the Antichrist making a peace treaty with Israel that they can build their temple. This war immediately precedes that treaty as wars generally precede peace treaties. This war utterly destroys a coalition of Muslim nations with Russia, the whole world sees that God fought for Israel, it is a stunning defeat to all Muslims, and makes it easy for the Antichrist to then make a treaty allowing Israel to rebuild the Temple.

Prior to this war there is the rapture. Both China and the US have to be removed as world powers prior to this war. According to Revelation 12 we know there will be a Biblical flood that accompanies the rapture of the Manchild. It is the Great dragon that is spewing out this flood. We are seeing China ravaged by floods this year and I suspect that the three gorges dam will collapse. That would be catastrophic to China. The Yangtze river basin is where 500 million people live and is the industrial complex of the country. Losing the dam (a major power generator), displacing tens of millions of people, and destroying their industrial base to their economy would be a catastrophe so great that China would no longer be able to act as a world power projecting their power abroad.

Then there were three videos I also posted from Dana Ashli showing from the scripture that the Great Babylon and the whore of Babylon referred to in Revelation 17 and 18 is the USA. The Beast, representing the globalists, hate her (she has been riding them for years and making them drunk on her wine and sorceries). They will burn her with fire, strip her naked and devour her flesh. Her judgement comes in a single hour. There is only one way that the US could be destroyed in one hour and that is with nuclear bombs. There have been many prophetic dreams of this taking place and UN and Russian soldiers showing up in the US.

When they say peace and security then sudden destruction comes upon them and they will not escape. Think about it, all of that will open the door for the Antichrist to set up a global government through Europe. With China, the US, Russia and Islamic nations all taken out of the way how easy is it to make a peace treaty with Israel, the one nation not part of this global Antichrist alliance.

Mark 3:1-7 Is it lawful to do good or to do evil? To save life or to kill?

There is an interpretation of the four gospels that Matthew is the message to those who will be the last to be taken during the end of the age (the first shall be last and the last first), Mark is for lukewarm church which will be taken in the middle of the tribulation and Luke is for those who are raptured at the beginning of the tribulation. Therefore we see some interesting differences in this section from Matthew and Luke.

In Matthew we get an outsiders perspective of Jesus and His disciples in a field picking grains and we look on this scene and ask how come His disciples are breaking the sabbath. That is missing in Mark because these ones are not picking the grains. They are not looking at little words sprinkled throughout the Bible that open up the teaching on the end of the age. In Mark this teaching begins with the man with the shriveled hand. They have been told in this church that “no one knows the day nor the hour” and so they have allowed that teaching to keep them from picking the grains which in turn causes their hand to be shriveled.

2 Some of them were looking for a reason to accuse Jesus, so they watched him closely to see if he would heal him on the Sabbath. 3 Jesus said to the man with the shriveled hand, “Stand up in front of everyone.” 4 Then Jesus asked them, “Which is lawful on the Sabbath: to do good or to do evil, to save life or to kill?” But they remained silent.

Stand up in front of everyone. If you want to get healed you will need to take a stand, not about the rapture, not about eschatology, not about any of that. You will need to take a stand on one basic question: is it lawful to do good or to do evil, to save life or to kill? Right now we are seeing some incredibly weird laws. Nine months ago Trump was impeached because of an allegation that he was asking the leader of Ukraine to investigate Hunter Biden for corruption as a way to influence the election. This accusation caused the media and the Democrats to become outraged over the implication, yet in September we were given physical evidence that Hunter Biden had sold influence to his father who was Vice President at the time and not one word. No outrage, in fact nothing other than to do everything in their power to ignore it. A week prior to the election Hillary Clinton is very vocal and public that Joe Biden is not to concede “under any circumstances”. This was the rallying cry to the Democrats, bringing tears to many of their eyes as they heard this. One week later they are outraged that Trump has not conceded because they are appealing alleged voter fraud in the key states that determined this election. The main stream media says there is no evidence of voter fraud to which the President’s press secretary holds up 234 signed affidavits alleging 11,000 incidents of voter fraud. So they change that to there is no evidence of “widespread voter fraud” to which Giuliani responds with evidence of several million votes for Trump that were either deleted or switched to Joe Biden by the Dominion software used to tally the votes, software that Clinton, Pelosi and Feinstein have an ownership stake in and which also has ties to China. We see attorney generals in numerous states doing everything they possibly can to prevent audits of their election, why? We were told there would be no vaccine mandates only for them to now have vaccine mandates in many places. Biden announced that Afghanis would be given priority over Americans in evacuating them from Afghanistan. Biden tried to charge Americans $2,000 each for the evacuation flight before the outrage shut that down.

At the end of the age a simple question that you must stand up for: is it legal to do good or to do evil? During the campaign right up to election day the media condemned Trump rallies as “super spreader events” then the very next day they are in the streets in massive rallies celebrating Biden’s apparent victory without a peep from the media. Likewise with Obama's 60th birthday celebration. During the lockdown every large gathering was made illegal except for BLM protests. These were advertised via all the social media platforms. The organization raised over a billion dollars, not for charitable work, but for the purpose of electing Democrats. But the day after the election a woman starts a Facebook page to set up protests calling for scrutiny over possible election fraud and Facebook shuts it down because it could provoke violence. The “stop the steal” rallies are distinctive for their protestors kneeling prayer, but they are outlawed by Facebook because they might provoke violence. Yet they never outlawed the BLM protests that were often marked with riots and looting. Take a stand, is it lawful to save life or to kill? “But they remained silent”. How can you not answer that simple question?

5 He looked around at them in anger and, deeply distressed at their stubborn hearts, said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” He stretched it out, and his hand was completely restored. 6 Then the Pharisees went out and began to plot with the Herodians how they might kill Jesus.

This event exposed their plots to kill Jesus. The end of this age there will be judgement. You will have those who believe in Jesus receiving judgement and you will also have those who plot to kill Jesus receiving judgement. Before that can happen you have to separate them. Today we see these groups being separated. I saw on Youtube many people at these “stop the steal” protests saying they were Democrats, they weren’t there to support Trump rather they were there to support the US constitution and a free and fair election.

7 Jesus withdrew with his disciples to the lake, and a large crowd from Galilee followed.

Right now you have to withdraw from the mainstream media and these big tech platforms like Facebook and Twitter. Instead there are smaller platforms like Rumble that you can use, and other sources of news like Next News, NTD, Sky news, Dailywire, etc.

Mark 3:8-35 They are guilty of an eternal sin

8 When they heard about all he was doing, many people came to him from Judea, Jerusalem, Idumea, and the regions across the Jordan and around Tyre and Sidon. 9 Because of the crowd he told his disciples to have a small boat ready for him, to keep the people from crowding him. 10 For he had healed many,so that those with diseases were pushing forward to touch him. 11 Whenever the impure spirits saw him, they fell down before him and cried out, “You are the Son of God.” 12 But he gave them strict orders not to tell others about him. 13 Jesus went up on a mountainside and called to him those he wanted, and they came to him. 14 He appointed twelve that they might be with him and that he might send them out to preach 15 and to have authority to drive out demons. 16 These are the twelve he appointed: Simon (to whom he gave the name Peter), 17 James son of Zebedee and his brother John (to them he gave the name Boanerges, which means “sons of thunder”), 18 Andrew, Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, James son of Alphaeus, Thaddaeus, Simon the Zealot 19 and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed him.

Likewise there are some very powerful “preachers” on these platforms. So although many of these are taking a stand for doing good and not for killing, there are also those who are preaching Jesus as well. Also, please note, impure spirits cannot tell others about Jesus, this honor is only for His saints.

20 Then Jesus entered a house, and again a crowd gathered, so that he and his disciples were not even able to eat. 21 When his family heard about this, they went to take charge of him, for they said, “He is out of his mind.”

This is funny. Everyone talks about that crazy uncle at Thanksgiving that “is out of his mind”. When my family was celebrating Biden’s “win” I responded that “yes, this is a very exciting election and I have been paying close attention and am very interested to see how it turns out in the end”. That brought a vehement response, I pointed out that CNN and Fox don’t get to call elections, the GSA does. Again, the response was like hitting a hornets nest with a bat, but the kindest thing they might of said is that “he is out of his mind”.

22 And the teachers of the law who came down from Jerusalem said, “He is possessed by Beelzebul! By the prince of demons he is driving out demons.”

Now that is what the mainstream media is saying. The ugly, nasty accusations are off the charts. Their hypocrisy is on full display that they would all rally behind Clinton’s cry “do not concede under any circumstances” and then rail against Trump and portray him as Scarface holed up in the oval office.

23 So Jesus called them over to him and began to speak to them in parables: “How can Satan Drive out Satan? 24 If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. 25 If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand. 26 And if Satan opposes himself and is divided, he cannot stand; his end has come.

If Trump were "Satan" he couldn't drive out Satan, he couldn't "drain the swamp". This is how you can discern who is who. Is Biden driving out Satan? No. Is there any possibility that he can drive out Satan? No. The nasty, ugly attacks on Trump and his supporters, isn't that how Satan talks, how he acts? However, we also know that Satan's end has come when you see them opposing themselves. When you see them take out Cuomo, or attack Biden, this is evidence that their end has come. You see this in all the gangster movies with the iconic "you dirty rat". When the end comes they all abandon ship and try to save themselves.

27 In fact, no one can enter a strong man’s house without first tying him up. Then he can plunder the strong man’s house.

During the end of this age the Lord is going to plunder the strong man’s house, that is a reference to the rapture and the Lord coming as a thief. For the lukewarm church the Lord comes as a thief. But first, before the rapture, you must tie up the strong man. Bind him, throw him in prison. That is what we are seeing right now. That is what the “stop the steal” protests are all about. That is what Giuliani and hundreds of affidavits, witness testimonies, and physical evidence are all about. That is what the Pandemic is all about. This pandemic has bound up the strong man and his economy. The audit is binding the strong man, the lies they tell are binding the strong man. Biden blamed the Afghanistan crisis on poor intelligence, the military was out immediately after his speech refuting his lies. Biden claimed that the US is no good at nation building, pundits immediately dug up old video of him promoting "nation building" in Afghanistan. Every lie is used to bind the strong man, that is the problem they face with everything they ever speak being recorded and kept on tape.

28 Truly I tell you, people can be forgiven all their sins and every slander they utter, 29 but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; they are guilty of an eternal sin.”

You can say that your crazy uncle has lost his mind, that is fine, you can be forgiven of that. But if you say that everyone needs to ignore 234 signed affidavits, if you say that the rest of the country needs to ignore 71 million people, then there is no forgiveness for that. You can be forgiven for supporting BLM in theory but when you see their hypocrisy and corruption and lies and still support them, no forgiveness for that. You can be forgiven for voting for Joe Biden, but once you see his incompetence on full display and how dangerous that is to the safety and security of this country then you can no longer defend him. If you do, there is no forgiveness for that.

30 He said this because they were saying, “He has an impure spirit.”

If you say that following the legal, constitutional process to contest the election in the courts is “impure” and a “coup” then there is no forgiveness for that. They made the accusation that January 6th was an insurrection. Then it was revealed there were no weapons, and then it was revealed that the only people who were killed were killed by the Capital security, that Officer Sicknick was not bludgeoned, he was not killed by bear spray, that all of that was a lie. Then it was revealed that actually the FBI was the one involved in planning and carrying out the insurrection. Now the FBI is trying to say there was no insurrection plan because they want to stop the investigation of what happened. All of a sudden they realize they stepped into the bear trap. You said they had an impure spirit, we are going to investigate that and find out exactly who had the impure spirit.

31 Then Jesus’ mother and brothers arrived.Standing outside, they sent someone in to call him. 32 A crowd was sitting around him, and they told him, “Your mother and brothers are outside looking for you.” 33 “Who are my mother and my brothers?” he asked. 34 Then he looked at those seated in a circle around him and said, “Here are my mother and my brothers! 35 Whoever does God’s will is my brother and sister and mother.”

Every believer is concerned that they would be found worthy at the end of the age. Apart from a select few like the Mother Mary we know that all Christians are uneasy about whether or not they will be raptured. So this is a very encouraging word, “whoever does God’s will is my brother and sister and mother”.

A word to the Fatherless

Saying 7

23 When you sit to dine with a ruler, note well what is before you, 2 and put a knife to your throat if you are given to gluttony. 3 Do not crave his delicacies, for that food is deceptive.

We are still talking about righteousness and having a balanced stance. The last saying said that if you were skilled in your work you will serve before kings, now this one says if you do sit with a ruler or king make sure you are not given to gluttony. This is one of the key lessons we learn from Tom Brady. He was not given to gluttony. He could have demanded a much higher salary but he didn’t. As a result the team was able to afford other key players which played a major role in their winning so many Super Bowls. You always hear about some superstar quarterback giving expensive gifts to his offensive linemen. That is stupid, if he had taken 5 or 6 million less in salary the team could have afforded the best offensive line there is, that in turn would give him a few extra years in the league, better stats, and more wins.

Saying 8

4 Do not wear yourself out to get rich; do not trust your own cleverness. 5 Cast but a glance at riches, and they are gone, for they will surely sprout wings and fly off to the sky like an eagle.

The goal is not to get rich, it is to be skillful at your job. Larry Bird exemplified this, he was not interested in interviews, talk shows, or advertisers. He understood that the one thing that mattered most was being skillful at his job.

Saying 9

6 Do not eat the food of a begrudging host, do not crave his delicacies; 7 for he is the kind of person who is always thinking about the cost. “Eat and drink,” he says to you, but his heart is not with you. 8 You will vomit up the little you have eaten and will have wasted your compliments.

Again, let’s learn from Tom Brady. New England would have renewed his contract but they were definitely a begrudging host and wanted him to retire. If you don’t go willingly they can force you out by creating an environment for you to fail. It is the best move to leave gracefully the minute you realize they want you to leave.

Saying 10

9 Do not speak to fools, for they will scorn your prudent words.

We saw this last year, Trump said that you could treat Covid with Hydrochloroquine and scorn was heaped upon him. Yet he was right, his words were prudent.

Saying 11

10 Do not move an ancient boundary stone or encroach on the fields of the fatherless, 11 for their Defender is strong; he will take up their case against you.

This is a repeat, it is like a refrain. After several sayings about people who are very skilled at their job and yet were not appreciated. Why would New England want to get rid of Tom Brady when he was still playing at an elite level, was an outstanding teammate, and was willing to play at significantly less than market value? He was fatherless just like Joe Montana. In both of their cases the coach was not glorified in their success, instead the debate was over who was most responsible for the success. This is a warning to the coach and the owner, do not try and disrespect a Tom Brady, don’t try to encroach on his field, because his defender is strong. The worst thing for Belechik’s legacy is his attempt to say that Brady was past his prime. This is also the biggest shame to Boston, it reminds us of Babe Ruth and now Tom Brady. Each was the best player in his sport while he played and yet both were despised by Boston teams. Now look at the US, after a year of attacking and tearing down statues of great generals and leaders in US history we see how utterly incompetent and pathetic these "woke" leaders are with the debacle in Afghanistan.

A vision of the next 48 days


The revelation of a war between Magog and Israel prior to the start of the seventieth week has massive implications for the next 48 days. (See posts 1,482 and 1,483). This is based on the vision in Ezekiel and in those posts he does an excellent job of showing how this (most likely interpretation) takes place immediately before the Antichrist makes a covenant for one week with Israel. He also points out that the rapture would occur before this war.


If you consider there are also a great many prophecies (post 1448) pointing to a rapture in 2021 and that 2022 beginning on October 8th, 2021 (Rosh Hashanah calculated according to the Old Testament formula) is when the tribulation begins it indicates that this war will take place prior to October 8th.


There is no way that Russia and Magog (coalition of Islamic nations including Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, etc) would attack Israel in the Middle East without China and the US being involved. Yet neither is mentioned, so they both have already fallen!


We had another excellent presentation that showed the US is the great Babylon in Revelation, the whore that rides the beast (posts 1422, 1425, and 1426) and that her judgement comes in one hour: she will be burned with fire, stripped naked, and devoured. How could this happen to the US in “one hour”? This would have to be a nuclear attack with missiles. There have been several prophetic dreams that as people were being raptured the missiles were falling on the US.


This also would explain how the rapture could be “secret”. If the rapture of the saints worldwide takes place at exactly the same time that a nuclear attack on the US takes place, shutting down telecommunications and satellite communications, then you could see how the rapture would not be front page news, rather it would be the nuclear attack and on the back page there would be a list of missing people.


I don’t believe Russia would be the one to fire the missiles and again there are prophetic visions and dreams which suggest China, North Korea and Iran are involved in the attack on the US. We have just seen all the evidence of election fraud perpetrated by China and others on the US in the cyber symposium. The “trial” may not be over in the eyes of the public but for those who perpetrated this treason they know it is over. Not only so but Biden’s catastrophic Afghanistan move and subsequent press briefings have made it very clear he will be removed very quickly. That means Trump will return and if you were involved in treason that means given the chance Trump will destroy you. As a result you could see why they would be prompted to attack first.


At the time of the rapture Revelation describes the man child being caught up to God and Satan and his angels being kicked out of heaven and cast to earth. We have the common phrase, “as we go up they come down”. How appropriate that the fallen angels being cast to earth is accompanied with nuclear missiles falling on the US. At this time it says the Great Dragon spews out a flood out of its mouth. This flood is truly “biblical” and “apocalyptic”. All previous floods like Katrina were simply a warning that let us know the impact and damage from a truly Biblical flood. Now I don’t know what triggers this flood, it doesn’t appear to be a natural disaster as it isn’t God but rather the great dragon that does this. If you were Taiwan and you saw China bombard the US with nuclear missiles you would know that “your time is short”. Technically Taiwan is part of China, part of the Great Dragon. If I were Taiwan blowing up the 3 Gorges dam would be at the top of my list at the start of a war with China. I lived in Taiwan for 8 years and learned that in the event of a war with China Taiwan had people in place in Mainland that would sabotage the infrastructure of the country. Blowing up the 3 Gorges dam would create the biggest flood we have ever seen impacting 500 million people and wiping out the industrial base for China.


Within one week of the rapture we could see both the US and China fall as superpowers. That would leave an alliance between Russia and Islamic nations as the biggest power. They would move into a power vacuum during a time of immense upheaval and chaos. If it were me I’d seize the middle east. Nothing could be more valuable at this time than the oil. The only thing standing in your way is Israel but with an army of 60 million with all the advanced weaponry of Russia it would appear to be that Israel would have no chance. However, God fights for Israel and through natural disasters wipes out this army. Russia is defeated and muslims worldwide have their faith shaken to the core.


Now at that time it is easy to see that Europe would stand up as the world’s superpower, and they would certainly have no trouble making a peace treaty with Israel after that victory.

This vision gives new meaning to "the restrainer being removed". Many see that verse referring to the Holy Spirit stepping aside at the time of the rapture. The saints who are raptured were animated by the Holy Spirit (filled with Him) and Satan was being restrained by the Holy Spirit through them.

However, who is restraining the globalists from setting up one world government? It is the USA, so removing the USA at the same time opens the way for the Antichrist to be revealed.

This vision also gives new meaning to "when they say peace and security sudden destruction comes upon them". It is hard to imagine anyone saying "peace and security" today, you would have to have dementia. And yet, if you listened to the press conference from the President of the US that is what you heard.

Also, you are hearing this from Christians as well who are confidently affirming that the tribulation is still years away.

And this takes the term "sudden destruction" and raises it to a whole new level. The US is wiped out with a nuclear attack, China is destroyed by a flood, Russia and the Islamic coalition are wiped out by God. All of that in 48 days!

This also gives new meaning to the Lord likening the rapture to both Noah and Lot. I assumed that was referring to two different raptures and that there would be a week of stunned silence after the first rapture. However, now it looks like Noah entering the ark one week before the flood that took them all away is referring to the judgement at the end of the 7 year tribulation. Our rapture will be like Noah (we enter the ark 7 years before the final judgement) and it will be like Lot (as we leave fire falls from heaven). This makes the US "Sodom and Gomorrah" which I can't see anyone disputing at this point.

What does it mean that "when they say peace and security then sudden destruction"

It means they are lying. When they are supposed to speak the truth they speak a lie. There is no health in them, they have done what they ought not to have done and they have not done what they ought to have done.

Still, this hidden secret is just one more great reason why Tu B'AV looks like a great day for the rapture. It also gives a whole new meaning to "no one knows the day".

Another interesting thing, Tu B'AV is the day that the sin of the spies is forgiven. There are many believers who have given a false or evil report about the Lord, yet the rapture will be the evidence that this sin has been forgiven.

40 days after Tu B'AV is the birthday of the world. Think about all the things that will happen over the 40 days from the rapture and it could conclude with this miraculous victory of Israel over Magog. Then you still have a week for Antichrist to make the covenant.

Tu B'AV would have been the day of the Jews redemption. The rapture is the redemption of our bodies.

This is how you improve. It doesn’t say to listen or even to obey, it says to apply. This means you are taking the instruction and words of knowledge and applying them to your craft. This is what James means when he says “faith without works is dead”. He means you need to apply your faith to your ministry.

Definitely not politically correct, but very true. People attacked Michael Jordan when the book “Jordan’s Rules” came out portraying him as a bully. He wasn’t a bully, that is absurd, bullies pick on weaker people. He was disciplining his teammates with the rod to save them from collapsing under pressure during the playoffs. He changed the culture from a losing team to a dynasty.

I am always reminded of Seattle versus the New England Patriots in the Superbowl. Seattle had driven down to the goal line at the very end of the game. New England was leading but a touchdown here would win the game for Seattle. They had one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL and they had one of the best short yardage running backs in the NFL. It looked like the game was over and then a rookie or 2nd year cornerback made a great play to intercept the ball in the end zone. That interception snatched victory from the jaws of defeat for New England. Later the story came out that the coach had been very tough on this particular player trying to drill into him how to defend this play just days earlier. During the practice you might think the coach has it in for me, but later when you have won the Super Bowl you realize he is rejoicing as much as you are that you acted in a wise way.

17 Do not let your heart envy sinners, but always be zealous for the fear of the Lord. 18 There is surely a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off.

“There is always a future hope for you”. Isn’t that great! The sinner steals something and is dancing and rejoicing, don’t envy them, no be zealous for the fear of the Lord and there is always a future hope for you. In 2020 Tampa Bay Buccaneers traded their star quarterback Jamieson Winston to New Orleans and brought in Tom Brady. During the regular season New Orleans played and beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers twice and you can see Jamieson Winston really celebrating those victories. But then they met in the playoffs and Tamp won. Every time you lose use it to motivate you to study your weaknesses and improve them and there is always hope for you.

19 Listen, my son, and be wise, and set your heart on the right path: 20 Do not join those who drink too much wine or gorge themselves on meat, 21 for drunkards and gluttons become poor, and drowsiness clothes them in rags.

Again, the focus is on being skillful at what you do. Riches fly away, drunkards and gluttons become poor. The goal is not to get a big fat contract or to be the toast of the town. I hated the New England Patriots, I came up with every reason in the book why Tom Brady is overrated. In the end it was undeniable, I saw the little things he did like not take a big salary and to not think more highly of himself than he ought, and ultimately realized there is a lot more to being successful than just running and throwing.

Candace Owens is a black woman who is a pundit. She makes a very strong case that in the US discrimination against blacks is not the issue, the issue for blacks is broken families and fatherless families. One of the ten commandments is to honor your father and mother that it may be well with you (be successful) and that you may live long on the earth (have a long career and a long life). You see this rule proven time and again.

You don’t want to slide into a deep pit, you will lose your cart, your horse, everything. Also you don’t want to fall in love with a wayward wife, you will get bruised and it is very difficult to escape. How does she snare a husband? It is as though she were a bandit lying in wait. Not only so but she will multiply the unfaithful, she will teach her children her ways.

Why do people turn to the bottle? Perhaps a failed marriage, perhaps a miserable career, etc. If you are envious of sinners you will likely ignore your mother and father, you will get snared by the adulterous woman, get damaged, lose everything and then turn to the bottle.

Mark 13:1-13 When is the Big Day?

1 And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto him, Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here! 2 And Jesus answering said unto him, Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

Every time the gospels take up this burden they put it into this context that not one stone of the temple will be left upon another. The age of grace began with Jesus' crucifixion and resurrection. This includes a judgement on the Jews that rejected him and the Jewish religion which is embodied in the temple. Daniel talks about this, Jesus is cut off and then you have the “times of the Gentiles”. The 70th week refers to the last seven years of Daniel’s prophecy. It is called “Jacob’s trouble” by the Jews (though I think this term actually refers to the last 10 years -- it is the ten days from feast of trumpets to Atonement), we call it the tribulation. During that time the Jews will make a peace treaty so they can rebuild the temple and Antichrist will be revealed. There is a lot of debate over pre tribulation rapture, post tribulation, etc. The church age ends when the 70th week begins. Once that peace treaty is made it is no longer the age of the Gentiles (that also is up for debate as there is something called the "mid tribulation rapture). Christ will be crowned at the coronation and as a result there will be no more room for Satan who will be cast down to the Earth. The reason it is the “great tribulation” is because Satan has been cast down to earth. Therefore the coronation has to happen at the beginning of the tribulation, and the Lord is going to have His bride and His faithful followers by His side at that time (Revelation 4). So then we can see from this that the pre-tribulation rapture takes place prior to this coronation. Solomon’s coronation is a type of this event. You can see faithful followers, Bathsheba who is a type of the Church in Philadelphia, and a celebratory procession signifying the rapture of the believers. You can also see at that time that many in Israel had been following the wrong man and were ashamed when Solomon was crowned king.

3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately, 4 Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled?

The question is very clear, and it is a question that many ask, even today. Jesus does not tell them “it is not for you to know”. Instead He goes into great detail about what they need to watch for.

5 And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you: 6 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

Many use the fact that there have been many deceived on this issue as a basis to mock anyone who talks about it. That is a mistake, when the rapture comes it will be a great testimony to the world that Jesus Christ is king and that He is the savior of the world. This is because everyone on earth knows that the rapture is part of our basic teachings. To ignore it or be ashamed of it because previous people have been deceived is precisely Satan’s strategy. Others will take the fact that many have been deceived as an excuse not to study it because “who can know” and “there are too many interpretations”. The Lord told you this would be the case. The fact that there are is not only a fulfillment of prophecy, it is also an indication of how big a deal this is to Satan. In football I was taught to “fight the pressure”. If they are trying to push you one way you want to fight against that pressure. Satan is clearly trying everything in his arsenal to get the saints to talk about anything but the rapture. This is also how you get deceived. Convincing you to ignore this is a win for Satan. Jesus, Paul, Matthew, Mark, Luke, Peter, Jude, none of these guys ignored this. When you are in a game like football or basketball the coaches will practice 2 minute drills repeatedly, because they don’t want any confusion at that moment in the game. Scam artists will use different techniques to get you to fear that you have to act now or lose all hope. When you are fearful your thinking brain shuts down and all you have left is the “fight or flight” response. It is “yes or no”. So then, we are much better served if we dive into this, think about it soberly and don’t allow ourselves to be in a time crunch where you don’t have the time. That is also how many are deceived.

7 And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet.

There are a lot of things that must happen in this age. Jesus is Lord, so all the human kingdoms have to be exposed as corrupt and dead. It was essential that the US would be formed with our constitution. World War II was critical to serve as an atonement and open the door for the Jewish nation to be reformed. We needed Hitler to prefigure the Antichrist. We also needed the technological advancements that we saw in the Gulf War. The church age is also the age of scientific advancement. All these things “must needs be”.

8 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.

The beginning of sorrows. The comparison of the end of the age to a woman in travail giving birth is one overriding theme. A pregnancy involves a lot, not just the last day of travail. The New Testament makes it clear that believers must go through a fiery tribulation. This age has had many, you didn’t have to wait until the tribulation to go through trials.

9 But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.

The purpose of preaching the gospel is not simply so that the lost can be saved. There are those that will reject the gospel. They cannot be judged without a testimony against them. It doesn’t matter if the gospel is received or rejected, the fact that it is preached is effective and that word will not return void.

10 And the gospel must first be published among all nations.

Do not despise the written word. We need to speak the word and we need to publish the word. People use the word in Matthew that it must be preached, but that is not the word in Mark. Here it simply must be published. Because of the internet the gospel has certainly been published among all nations.

11 But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.

You might be intimidated, but the Holy Spirit isn’t. This is the opportunity He wanted, let Him speak.

12 Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death. 13 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

So if you want an idea of how bad it will be there you go.

As believers we should learn from what is going on in Afghanistan. The rapture is an exit strategy. We need to have many people processing the believers for the trip out (praying and baptizing believers) we need others exercising the air game over the enemy to make sure they don't lift a muscle against the church and we need many others operating convoys leading the believers to the Lord.

Matthew 10:19 But when they arrest you, do not worry about what to say or how to say it. At that time you will be given what to say, 20 for it will not be you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.

Mark 13:11 Whenever you are arrested and brought to trial, do not worry beforehand about what to say. Just say whatever is given you at the time, for it is not you speaking, but the Holy Spirit.

Luke 12:11 “When you are brought before synagogues, rulers and authorities, do not worry about how you will defend yourselves or what you will say, 12 for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say.”

Two things, first, the Holy Spirit wants this opportunity to speak and give a strong testimony, do not shy away, just let the Spirit speak. Second, I find it very interesting that in Matthew and Mark He talks about the believers being arrested and brought to trial, but in Luke we are simply speaking to the synagogues, rulers and authorities. Right now that is what we are doing. We may get censored and suspended from Facebook or Twitter, we may be shunned from the mainstream media, we may get insulted by Biden, but we stand strong and speak the word. However, once the tribulation begins they will turn the screws, you will be arrested and even beheaded. Do not worry beforehand, just say whatever is given you at the time.
