There is a false doctrine called Preterism. According to this doctrine all the prophecies in Revelation that we see referring to the future they say were accomplished in 70 AD. In order to do that they must fly in the face of all Biblical scholarship which puts the book of Revelation being written around 95 AD, about 25 years after 70 AD. Because of that I am addressing the evidence that the book of Revelation is written in 95 AD and not in 68 AD which is what Preterism has to teach.

Basis for saying Revelation was written around 95 AD

Irenaeus
Irenaeus (A.D. 180), a student of Polycarp (who was a disciple of the apostle John), wrote that the apocalyptic vision “was seen not very long ago, almost in our own generation, at the close of the reign of Domitian” (Against Heresies 30). The testimony of Irenaeus, not far removed from the apostolic age, is first rate. He places the book near the end of Domitian’s reign, and that ruler died in A.D. 96. Irenaeus seems to be unaware of any other view for the date of the book of Revelation.

Clement of Alexandria
Clement of Alexandria (A.D. 155-215) says that John returned from the isle of Patmos “after the tyrant was dead” (Who Is the Rich Man? 42), and Eusebius, known as the “Father of Church History,” identifies the “tyrant” as Domitian (Ecclesiastical History III.23).

Even Moses Stuart, America’s most prominent preterist, admitted that the “tyrant here meant is probably Domitian.” Within this narrative, Clement further speaks of John as an “old man.” If Revelation was written prior to A.D. 70, it would scarcely seem appropriate to refer to John as an old man, since he would only have been in his early sixties at this time.

Victorinus
Victorinus (late third century), author of the earliest commentary on the book of Revelation, wrote:
When John said these things, he was in the island of Patmos, condemned to the mines by Caesar Domitian. There he saw the Apocalypse; and when at length grown old, he thought that he should receive his release by suffering; but Domitian being killed, he was liberated (Commentary on Revelation 10:11).
Jerome
Jerome (A.D. 340-420) said,
In the fourteenth then after Nero, Domitian having raised up a second persecution, he [John] was banished to the island of Patmos, and wrote the Apocalypse (Lives of Illustrious Men 9).
To all of this may be added the comment of Eusebius, who contends that the historical tradition of his time (A.D. 324) placed the writing of the Apocalypse at the close of Domitian’s reign (III.18). McClintock and Strong, in contending for the later date, declare that “there is no mention in any writer of the first three centuries of any other time or place” (1969, 1064). Upon the basis of external evidence, therefore, there is little contest between the earlier and later dates.

Basis for saying Revelation was written around 95 AD (part 2)

Internal Evidence
The contents of the book of Revelation also suggest a late date, as the following observations indicate.

The spiritual conditions of the churches described in Revelation chapters two and three more readily harmonize with the late date.

The church in Ephesus, for instance, was not founded by Paul until the latter part of Claudius’s reign: and when he wrote to them from Rome, A.D. 61, instead of reproving them for any want of love, he commends their love and faith (Eph. 1:15) (Horne 1841, 382).

Yet, when Revelation was written, in spite of the fact that the Ephesians had been patient (2:2), they had also left their first love (v. 4), and this would seem to require a greater length of time than seven or eight years, as suggested by the early date.

Another internal evidence of a late date is that this book was penned while John was banished to Patmos (1:9). It is well known that Domitian had a fondness for this type of persecution. If, however, this persecution is dated in the time of Nero, how does one account for the fact that Peter and Paul are murdered, yet John is only exiled to an island? (Eusebius III.18; II.25).

Then consider this fact. The church at Laodicea is represented as existing under conditions of great wealth. She was rich and had need of nothing (3:17). In A.D. 60, though, Laodicea had been almost entirely destroyed by an earthquake. Surely it would have required more than eight or nine years for that city to have risen again to the state of affluence described in Revelation.

The doctrinal departures described in Revelation would appear to better fit the later dating. For example, the Nicolaitans (2:6, 15) were a full-fledged sect at the time of John’s writing, whereas they had only been hinted at in general terms in 2 Peter and Jude, which were written possibly around A.D. 65-66.

Persecution for professing the Christian faith is evidenced in those early letters to the seven churches of Asia Minor. For instance, Antipas had been killed in Pergamum (2:13). It is generally agreed among scholars, however, that Nero’s persecution was mostly confined to Rome; further, it was not for religious reasons (Harrison 1964, 446).

Revelation 11:8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

Why would the great city of Jerusalem be called (past tense) Sodom? This suggests that the book was written after 70 AD and not before it.

Basis for saying Revelation was written around 95 AD (part 3)

The main reason they claim it was written at the time of Nero before 70 AD

Nero Associated with 666
Some argue for an early date of the Apocalypse by asserting that the enigmatic 666 (13:18) is a reference to Nero. This is possible only by pursuing the most irresponsible form of exegesis.

To come up with such an interpretation one must:

  1. add the title “Caesar” to Nero’s name;
  2. compute the letter-number arrangement on the basis of Hebrew, whereas the book was written in Greek; and
  3. alter the spelling of “Caesar” by dropping the yodh in the Hebrew.
All of this reveals a truly desperate attempt to find a reference to Nero in the text.

Additionally, Leon Morris has pointed out that Irenaeus discussed a number of possibilities for deciphering the 666, but he did not even include Nero in his list, let alone regard this as a likely conjecture (1980, 38). Noted critic Theodor Zahn observed that Nero was not even suggested as a possibility until the year 1831 (447).

This has good information about the Bible and the feast of new wine. His theory, which I agree with, is that Pentecost if 50 days after Shavuot. Currently Christians celebrate Pentecost on Shavuot, but if these feast days are a shadow of things to come (Paul said this in Colossians) then it is important to know when it is.

However, I want to warn you, he is pushing a phone interpretation because he subscribes to a bogus doctrine. He says that when Moses breaks the two tablets (this would have been on Pentecost) that this represents the Old Covenant being broken by Jesus. That is bogus, Jesus did not break the Old Covenant, He fulfilled it. That is a very big difference. The reason he would say something so blatantly false is because he subscribes to the doctrine that everyone who is saved and a member of the church will be raptured prior to the tribulation. In order to do that there is a very long list of verses that need to be changed. The word for apostasy is not Harpazo, the word we associate with rapture. The first time it is used is to talk about the Jews departing from the faith that was delivered by Moses. The word clearly means to depart from the faith, but many don't want to understand it that way because in their mind, if you pray to be saved by Jesus and washed in His blood then you are saved once and for all regardless of how you are living for the next 20,30 or 40 years and if you are "saved" then you will be raptured prior to the tribulation. Totally bogus. Saved by the blood of Jesus means you will not go to hell. In order to be raptured we are instructed to pray that we would be found worthy to escape. Your salvation has nothing to do with you being worthy, it has to do with Jesus' blood and His righteousness. However, to be found worthy to escape, a clear reference to the rapture, you must be found worthy. It is absurd to try and twist to that to pray that the Lord's blood would be found worthy.

This is repeated throughout the Bible. The 12 spies returned from the land and gave their report on the day of Pentecost (new wine). Two gave a good report, ten gave an evil report. As a result all the adults (except for those two) died in the wilderness and did not enter into the good land. Again, and again, and again the picture of the 8th and 9th of Av is a separating of the wheat from the tares. The good and faithful servants from the wicked ones who eat and drink with the drunken, the foolish ones who depend on others to bring the oil, and the slothful ones who have buried their talent.

I share this because it is relevant to the rapture and it is Bible based. I have said repeatedly I am not the arbiter of the truth. You are required to discern. However, I don't think this doctrine is that dangerous. Many will be left behind and when that happens they will then be clear that they were lied to about OSAS. You can be saved from hell but not get any reward in heaven and not be found worthy to avoid the wrath that is to come.

PROVOKE ME TO ANGER

Jeremiah 11:17 For the LORD of hosts, that planted thee, hath pronounced evil against thee, for the evil of the house of Israel and of the house of Judah, which they have done against themselves to provoke me to anger in offering incense unto Baal.

My son, WHY DO MY CHILDREN PROVOKE ME TO ANGER? Have they not known that My love is everlasting? Yet, they have not come to know Me - but to just know about Me. My children who think they worship Me - do not. They worship man and all that he provides. My children have embraced the world and all of its fleshly pleasures.

My son, men have not changed - they still run toward evil and flee from righteousness. They have embraced the deviants of this world and call them acceptable - just as in Lot's time and city. Now, My children, who are called to separate themselves from the world, have joined them hand-in-hand, saying ALL THINGS are acceptable. I will destroy this nation - just as I did with the cities of the plain. Because you have embraced evil and PROVOKED ME TO ANGER, I will rain fire down from heaven on this nation. I have raised up enemies that will go throughout the land and slaughter those who have worshipped at the altar of Baal. Think NOT that you can escape My fury because you have been told that this nation is untouchable. Know now, My hand is no longer upon this land. THUS SAITH THE LORD - YOU HAVE RAISED THE SWORD AGAINST EVERY NATION! YOU HAVE ALLOWED THE SLAUGHTER OF THE INNOCENT! YOU HAVE EMBRACED EVERY VILE SIN OF THE FLESH AND CELEBRATE IT! I HAVE NOW REMOVED THE CANDLE FROM THIS NATION. DARKNESS WILL GROW DARKER. VIOLENCE WILL BE MORE VIOLENT AND MUCH MORE ACCELLERATED. PERVERSON WILL BE NORMAL - AND HOLINESS A CRIME. YOU HAVE PROVOKED ME TO ANGER WITH YOUR PRETEND WORSHIP AND SELF-GLORIFYING PRAYERS. I HAVE RAISED UP A HORNETS' NEST AND BROKEN IT OVER YOUR NATION. THE ENEMIES YOU FEAR ARE NOW WITHIN YOUR CITIES AND TOWNS. PREPARE!! FOR BLOODSHED WILL COVER THE LAND - AND MANY, MANY, MANY DEATHS WILL OCCUR. YOUR MONEY WILL BE WORTHLESS. YOUR HOMES WILL BE DESTROYED. YOUR FOOD WILL BE RENDERED NO GOOD. AND YOUR TIME TO REPENT HAS RUN OUT.

My son, SAY NOT to these people to turn from your evil ways! THEY WILL NOT LISTEN! SAY NOT to REPENT! For they say, We have done NOTHING TO REPENT FOR! Just as the man they elected and support says. YOU HAVE PROVOKED ME TO ANGER. NOW MY FURY IS KINDLED. BE READY!

Shalom, The Father

Prophetic dreams and visions from my lovely Jesus

Fighting Fear with the Word of God Vicki Goforth Parnell With all the uncertainties that lie ahead for us in our world today, if we are not careful, we may find ourselves battling the spirit of fear. The Lord Jesus Christ spoke to me last night and instructed me to remind His children what’s in His Holy Word concerning the spirit of fear. There are two kinds of fear...fear that torments and causes you to be terrified. This kind is demonic. Then there is the fear that is part of our emotions that when something is wrong it will spurn you into action to help preserve you. This is of God but you should not let it be turned into the other kind of fear. Remember the enemy is crafty and sly. He is deceitful and full of hate for us. But I say stand firm in Jesus Christ our Lord and mighty Savior’s Name and remember the words written in 1 John 4: 4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

Here are some verses to help you stand against the demons of fear.

Be blessed in Jesus Christ and stay under His Blood always.
John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Romans 8:15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
Revelation 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
Psalms 34:4 I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
Psalms 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Psalms 27:1 The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Psalms 49:5 Wherefore should I fear in the days of evil, when the iniquity of my heels shall compass me about?
Psalms 56:4 In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.
Psalms 118:6 The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?
Proverbs 1:33 But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.
Proverbs 3:25 Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh.
Isaiah 14:3 And it shall come to pass in the day that the Lord shall give thee rest from thy sorrow, and from thy fear, and from the hard bondage wherein thou wast made to serve,
Isaiah 35:4 Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you.
Isaiah 41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
Isaiah 41:13-14 (13)For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee. (14)Fear not, thou worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith the Lord, and thy redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.
Isaiah 43:1 But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.

Sanctify the Lord of hosts himself; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread.

Deuteronomy 3:22 Ye shall not fear them: for the Lord your God he shall fight for you.

Amen, thank you Lord for this promise, thank you that you shall fight for us!

Philippians 1:28 And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God.

Amen Lord, what a wonderful testimony that in nothing terrified of our adversaries.

Deuteronomy 11:25 There shall no man be able to stand before you: for the Lord your God shall lay the fear of you and the dread of you upon all the land that ye shall tread upon, as he hath said unto you.

Amen, Lord we pray lay the fear of the believers on Antichrist and all those involved in witchcraft and idolatry. May their curses rebound unto them and may they learn that none of their weapons prosper against the saints of the Lord.

Exodus 15:16 Fear and dread shall fall upon them; by the greatness of thine arm they shall be as still as a stone; till thy people pass over, O Lord, till the people pass over, which thou hast purchased.

Amen Lord, we pray for the evangelists and all those in ministry who are faithfully serving you, that the fear and dread of them would fall on all the Satanists, all those involved in witchcraft, all those who would curse your people. By the greatness of Your arm may they be still as a stone until all those you would take up have passed over.

Deuteronomy 2:25 This day will I begin to put the dread of thee and the fear of thee upon the nations that are under the whole heaven, who shall hear report of thee, and shall tremble, and be in anguish because of thee.

Amen Lord, we pray that Antichrist and all the other globalists would hear the report of the saints and that they would tremble and be in anguish because of the Lord Jesus who is with us.

Isaiah 8:13 Sanctify the Lord of hosts himself; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.

The hypocrisy of the Apostasy

Luke 13:10 And he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath. 11 And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself.

We have all had experiences like this, some more extreme than others. Satan cannot bind you with a spirit of infirmity unless you agree. Think of this as a contract that you sign. Once you sign that contract then it is perfectly legal. For example, a bad job, a bad marriage, a deceitful friend, or a bad contract. In every case you agreed to this arrangement. You agreed to become unequally yoked. This is 2025, so lets go back 18 years in the US and we were in the very heart of the mortgage meltdown. Yes, Wall street collapsed in 2008 but all those mortgages that went belly up were signed 5 years before that. So let's look at that. People signed legal contracts that were called "balloon mortgages". If you don't understand a mortgage you would assume that if they were charging $2,000 a month to pay off your mortgage before the interest rate increased you might think a 5% increase would mean $100, not a big deal. But it was 5% of the principle. If that was $400,000 then that is an extra $20,000 a year. So you agreed to a contract in which your mortgage payment would virtually double after five years. Also, you may have thought that since you paid $24,000 a year on your mortgage for five years for a total of $120,000 that you had paid down part of your principle. But no, they had you simply paying interest without touching the principle. So what happened, people were putting everything into this house thinking they were finally going to be buying a piece of the American dream only for the bank to pull the rug out on them after collecting $120,000. You lose the house, they hire some painters to repaint the walls, replace the carpet and they can resell your house because just like a yoyo they now own the house.

12 And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.

That's right, it is that easy for the Lord. I will explain in a second, but let's look at your first mistake, you should have prayed, you should have sought the Lord before signing this contract, and even after you signed that contract it would have been much easier to correct this if you went to the Lord before they foreclosed. But here is the thing, the law requires the mortgage broker or your banker who made the mortgage to protect you. Legally they were not allowed to write a mortgage that they knew you couldn't afford. You didn't understand what was about to happen, but the banker did and that was illegal. So know this, don't ever sign a contract if you don't understand what you are signing. So then, what happened in 2008 is millions of people lost their homes that they had been paying on for five years. If they were poor before they were now destitute. It was like being kicked in the teeth by some rich banker. If you had gone to the Lord before the five years were up He could have explained this to you, then you could have sold your house, probably at a profit, and that profit could have been the downpayment on a house with a fixed rate. But even after the foreclosure you had a very good case to sue the banker who wrote you the mortgage. But the infirmity is not the contract, or the marriage or the job. The infirmity is doing whatever is right in your own eyes and not seeking the Lord first for His guidance. Suppose you went to the pastor before buying the house, and he let you talk to someone who understood these things. That would have protected you.

13 And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.

None of us is complete, maybe you are a banker, you understand mortgages, but you don't know how to fix a car, or maybe you know cars and you can help someone get a good deal on a car, but you need help from a lawyer or a teacher, etc. This is what the church is. It is a family. It is like having a brother who is a cop, and one who is a doctor, and a lawyer, and banker, etc. We can all help each other.

14 And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day.

This was a major law two thousand years ago. Today we would never understand someone condemning you for helping a brother or sister like this. However, we condemn people for reading the bible and having fellowship over the meaning of Bible verses. I have been condemned repeatedly for talking about the rapture. Never once have I said "God told me the date of the rapture" and yet I have been called a false prophet repeatedly and that is what they accuse me of doing. Many times I have been told to stop talking about these Bible verses, about the prophecies, about the current events, and about connecting Bible prophecies to the current events. So although we don't have anyone condemning us for healing on the sabbath today, we do have many, many Christians condemning other Christians for talking about Bible prophecies and Bible verses.

15 The Lord then answered him, and said, Thou hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering?

The Lord did not put up with this for one second, the Jewish leader condemning Jesus was a hypocrite. Why haven't these pastors who have members who have been defrauded of their homes, why haven't they stepped in to help? For 18 years you see these people drowning in debt, you do nothing and then you condemn Jesus? I wonder if these silent pastors aren't getting money from the same banks that are defrauding their members? Perhaps one of the people on the board of directors of this church works for the bank? I don't know, but if that is the case then they are surely hypocrites. Now imagine someone condemning me for speaking about the Bible! Isn't that what they do every sabbath day? Isn't that what their pastor does? Why is it OK to give a sermon on John 3:16 but not on 1 Thessalonians 5:3? Isn't that hypocrisy?

16 And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?

There are threats of famine, pestilence and nuclear war. Why shouldn't people be comforted knowing that Jesus Christ is Lord, He is in control, so be at peace?

17 And when he had said these things, all his adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.

The Lord your God goes before you

Deuteronomy 31:8 And the Lord, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.

Deuteronomy was spoken right before Moses went to be with the Lord. This word was not spoken to those that were scattered about in the wilderness, those that had embraced the evil report. Nor was it spoken to those who had been caught in an idolatrous orgy when Moses came down from the mountain. They had all been slain. Nor was it spoken to the "mixed multitude" that came out of Egypt. It was spoken to all that were still with the Lord after forty years. Those who were older than forty at this point had been alive when they came out of Egypt. You would have many children who were now 40 to 60 years old who could remember Egypt, remember how they came out. They could also remember everything they came through.

Deuteronomy 1:30 The LORD your God which goeth before you, he shall fight for you, according to all that he did for you in Egypt before your eyes;

Moses is telling us that leaving Egypt and Entering the good land are like bookends. Turning the river to blood is similar to the walls of Jericho falling down. This is how they broke through the walls of censorship. The frogs in the house was similar to the battle with AI, it was really about covetousness and taking these idolatrous things from the enemy into your house and hiding them. Imagine a pastor or preacher using AI to help them write books and preach messages. This is like letting a demon help you rather than the Lord Jesus. They celebrate Passover when they leave Egypt and they celebrate Passover when they enter the land. When they leave Egypt they are fed manna, when they enter the land the manna ceases. The commander of the Lord's army commanded Moses and the commander of the Lord's army commanded Joshua. Israel makes a treaty with Gibeon, infuriating the inhabitants of the land as they see their "allies" fleeing to Israel's side. In Egypt you had lice plaguing the Egyptians.

This is the gospel operating.

It begins with a message on Passover, then you see everyone laboring in the gospel. Being fed manna is like listening to a sermon, but eating the fruit of the land means you are out there doing the labor yourself. Some people will be tempted to use canned messages and AI. That will be dealt with. Some will be fooled into making deals with the inhabitants of the land. People are not saved by cutting deals, they are saved by confessing sins, repenting and being converted with the Holy Spirit writing His laws on their heart. But the world will see that nothing they are doing is working and that the whole world will be converted and that will infuriate them. Then the word of God will be preached by so many it will be like a swarm of flies descending on all of the world's industry and economy calling them to repent. A lot of the idolatrous business will die. Think about all the protests that take place when some company is pushing the LGBTQ+ onto you (Budweisers advertising campaign, Target, etc) or when they support insurrection rallies (No Kings rally supported by heiress to Walmart). This leads to the boils, think of the Tariffs and ICE roundups. These are like inflamed boils on the body as the world is forced to deal with unrighteousness and past abuses. Then you have fierce hailstorms as the believers learn to pray to the Lord for righteousness. Pharaoh and the evil rulers will shrug off layoffs, they'll shrug off people being homeless and starving. So at this point we need the Lord of the heavens to destroy the entire economy. The floods, the fires and the hailstorms with tornados causes the insurance industry to crumple and collapse bringing down the entire banking industry. Then you have a massive swarm of locusts. Think of people picking over bankruptcy sales and foreclosures. As banks go bankrupt they are forced to unload everything. Finally you have the thick darkness which can be felt which envelopes the whole nation. Why? Because there are those who are this obstinate. You preach the gospel and they try to shut you out, then they try to corrupt your message, then they try to cut a deal, you have to be single minded, we are not here to coexist with the kingdom of Darkness. Then it is on for real, as people convert it infuriates the kingdom of darkness, as street preachers and youtube preachers fill the air it convicts every bit of unrighteousness and idolatry. In order to deal with the unrighteousness you get these enflamed boils, protests and riots and looting. The kingdom of darkness is bringing in the big guns and so you appeal to the Lord who brings in His big guns with the intense hailstorms, fires and floods. Nothing turns people to the Lord more than going bankrupt and losing everything they spent their whole life trying to get. Now it is the locusts, devouring everything that the kingdom of Darkness thought they had. When Moses first came to Pharaoh it was a joke, but no more, now even the top advisors can see that God is fighting for you. Ultimately it is the three days of darkness a real live horror movie right outside your window. If you don't die from fright then hopefull this will cause you to repent and turn to the Lord. Because the final nail in the coffin will be the avenging angel killing the firstborn of all things. For us with the gospel that will be the rapture.

Touch not my anointed and do my prophets no harm

Psalm 105:14 He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes; 15 Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.

First we need to know this promise.

1Chronicles 16:21 He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes,

Second, we need to receive it by faith.

Ephesians 5:13 But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.

Then, when we are under attack look to the Lord for the light. The word of God is light, so you pray for the Lord to shine His light on the word. This might take five minutes, it might take two hours. Here is the secret, if you dive into the word and spend hours every day it is very simple and quick for the Lord to shine on that word. Maybe you are too busy to do that, you commute 45 minutes to and from work every day. So, put the Bible on tape and listen to it while commuting to work.

2Corinthians 1:21 Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God;

It is the Lord which establishes you and anoints you. That is your protection. Think of the anointing as being marked out with paint that lets the demons and fallen angels know they must avoid you. Now do you want that anointing to be faded and barely visible or do you want to have a fresh, bright coat of that paint on you every morning?

1John 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

Often the attack comes, it is intense, it gets your heart racing. But I have learned to calm down, and look at it carefully, word by word, like a baseball player who can see the seams on the baseball as the pitcher throws it at him. Very quickly the Lord will advise me on how to respond to that word. Sometimes, don’t respond. It is like a batter taking a pitch. Why swing if it is outside the strike zone? Sometimes it is all I can do to foul it off, that is called “staying alive”. But very often I can punish that pitch, that is called “turning on it”. When you can do that then you are no longer under attack, the pitcher is. It is like trying to pitch to Barry Bonds. Jesus is that scary to these pitchers, let Him teach you all things.

Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

Remember why we are anointed. It is not to take vengeance, it is not to get even. I like to think of Larry Bird or Michael Jordan or Caitlin Clark. There was a time when these players were virtually assaulted on the court. If you punch back and get thrown out of the game that is what the enemy wants. But if you respond by draining a three, then that is how you get the enemy. He is trying to stop you from preaching the gospel to the poor, so do it all the more. He is trying to stop you from healing the brokenhearted, so do it all the more.

To God belongeth vengeance and recompence

Deuteronomy 32:35 To me belongeth vengeance and recompence; their foot shall slide in due time: for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come upon them make haste.

Vengeance belongs to God, not to you. Sometimes we misunderstand that, thinking that God will not take vengeance. That is baloney, read the law and prophets, read the New Testament. It is very clear that God will take vengeance in due time. What is scarier than God taking vengeance is knowing that He will and that the day is at hand. No one can take vengeance better than God, trust Him.

Deuteronomy 32:43 Rejoice, O ye nations, with his people: for he will avenge the blood of his servants, and will render vengeance to his adversaries, and will be merciful unto his land, and to his people.

God is watching out for His word to fulfill it. So by all means, pray that He would avenge the blood of his servants. If you know any believer, any servant of the Lord who was attacked, harmed, canceled, fired, or killed because they were a believer, then remind the Lord to render vengeance to His adversaries.

Psalm 58:10 The righteous shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance: he shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.

Think about that person who you want the Lord to take vengeance on. Would you really want to wash your feet in their blood? Would that really cause the righteous to rejoice? In 99% of the cases what would cause us to rejoice is if they confess and repent and turn to the Lord. The 1% are those we are probably the most surprised at not realizing how evil they are, only the Lord knows. So that is the reason that God is merciful and slow to anger, the things that really cause us to rejoice are sinners who get saved. But there is the 1% who are truly evil and for whom there is no repentance.

Psalm 99:8 Thou answeredst them, O Lord our God: thou wast a God that forgavest them, though thou tookest vengeance of their inventions.

This is a great prayer. AI is their invention, pray that God takes vengeance on AI. Hypersonic missiles and nuclear bombs are their invention, pray that God takes vengeance on those inventions. Social media, deep fakes, censorship, shadow banning, these are all their inventions, pray that God takes vengeance on those inventions.

Isaiah 35:4 Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you.

Instead of vengeance, let’s call it recompense. This is righteous. As you have done it will be done to you. With what measure you measure it will be measured to you. If you dig a pit you will fall into it.

Jeremiah 20:12 But, O Lord of hosts, that triest the righteous, and seest the reins and the heart, let me see thy vengeance on them: for unto thee have I opened my cause.

The mortgage meltdown is a cause that I have opened. Millions were defrauded out of their money and homes. It was illegal and yet none of those who did this went to jail. Therefore, call on the Lord, we are talking about a righteous recompense.

The vaccine mandate is another cause that I have opened. I do not know the deep things of Satan but the Lord who is omniscient does. I trust Him to give a righteous recompense to those who are guilty. I would say a billion people were affected, so let’s see how the Lord deals with this.

There are other things, governments have built bunkers, GMOs, and many other things that I may not know about. However, suppose a thousand saints take up this burden, combined we must know many, many examples of a need for a righteous recompense.

Ezekiel 24:8 That it might cause fury to come up to take vengeance; I have set her blood upon the top of a rock, that it should not be covered.

We have had over 60 million abortions. That blood needs to be set upon the top rock that it should not be covered.

Nahum 1:2 God is jealous, and the Lord revengeth; the Lord revengeth, and is furious; the Lord will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies.

God is merciful, He is loving, He is light, He comforts the poor, but He is also jealous.

Romans 12:19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

This is the point. By all means pray for righteousness, pray for God to see what is going on and to rise up and give a righteous recompense. But don’t avenge yourself. You are not omniscient, you don’t have all the facts and if you feel you have the right to avenge yourself then you open the door for Satan to avenge himself on you.

Hebrews 10:30 For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.

This especially refers to believers. The worst thing is when Christians are fighting among themselves. The Lord will judge, not you.

The Lord is a Man of War

Exodus 15:3 The Lord is a man of war: the Lord is his name.

This is why I use Joe Montana, Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, Mike Tyson, Mohammed Ali, and Tom Brady as examples. These are men of war.

2 Samuel 23:10 He arose, and smote the Philistines until his hand was weary, and his hand clave unto the sword: and the Lord wrought a great victory that day; and the people returned after him only to spoil. 11 And after him was Shammah the son of Agee the Hararite. And the Philistines were gathered together into a troop, where was a piece of ground full of lentiles: and the people fled from the Philistines. 12 But he stood in the midst of the ground, and defended it, and slew the Philistines: and the Lord wrought a great victory.

The Bible also uses warriors as a type and shadow of Jesus Christ, a man of war being expressed through men of faith.

1 Chronicles 29:11 Thine, O Lord is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O Lord, and thou art exalted as head above all.

Paul was a true man of faith, and he knew and testified that all greatness, power, glory, victory and majesty belongs to Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 15:54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory...57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

This is the spiritual warfare we are fighting, to swallow up death in victory.

1 John 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

If you claim you are born again, then surely this should include you.
