Since this sign was interpreted in 2024, we would understand the night to be from the fall equinox to the Spring equinox. What we are witnessing right now with the tariffs and the wars is about to culminate in a surprise attack on the US destroying it in one hour.
Then you have Jesus saying that this generation shall not pass away until all these things take place referring to when the fig tree sprouts leaves again. This can refer to Israel as a sinful nation (the fig tree is not a symbol of Israel, rather it is a symbol of the fall of man) or it can refer to the UN as signifying all the sinful nations united as one. We are told by Moses in the Psalms that a generation is 70 years, 80 if it is strong (meaning rebellious). Either you can understand that precisely as 80 years from 1948 which would take you to May of 2028. That would be the midpoint of the seven year tribulation when Antichrist sets himself up in the holy of holies with the abomination of desolation. Or you can understand that as the Fall of 2025 for the UN, when Antichrist will come into full power. Or you can say that Moses was speaking in decades, a generation doesn't all die on their birthday. So 70 years would be 65 to 74 and 80 years would be 75 to 84. 75+1948 is 2023 when Hamas invaded them. 75 + 1945 is 2020 when the WHO declared a worldwide pandemic. Now, add 84 to 1948 and that would be 2032, the year that all these things take place after Armageddon. Add 84 to 1945 and you get 2029, the year Apophis is supposed to come extremely close to the Earth.
Or you can listen to the Lord's prophecy that the only sign that will be given this adulterous generation is the sign of Jonah. Jonah preached for 40 days to repent or else the city of Nineveh would be destroyed. Jesus and the disciples preached for 40 years to repent or else the city of Jerusalem would be destroyed. Since that time the gospel has gone out into all the world for 40 jubilees. A jubilee is seven weeks of years plus one more. That is 50 years. But the fiftieth year is also the first year of the second jubilee cycle. So 40 jubilees is 40 x 49 +1, or 1961. This also tells us that 2032 would be the jubilee year, or the start of the Millennial kingdom.
Or you can use Hosea 6 which says at the end of two days (this count starts when the Lord leaves the temple) He will enliven Israel and at the start of the third day He will lift them up. A day is like a thousand years, so two thousand years after the Lord left the Temple, that would be when He ascended to heaven, that would be 2031, the year He enlivens Israel, and 2032 would be the start of the third year.
Or you can use Genesis with God creating the Earth in seven days. Jesus is crucified at the end of the fourth day, the bride is brought to Jesus at the end of the sixth day.
