Jesus was based!

2 And, behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee.

3 And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemeth.

4 And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts?

Please note there are two groups of people here, one is thinking evil in their hearts and pushing that narrative on the people. Screaming that Jesus blasphemes. The other doesn't know whether or not Jesus has power to forgive sins.

5 For whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk?

6 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house.

7 And he arose, and departed to his house.

First Jesus deals with those who don't know that He has power to forgive sins.

8 But when the multitudes saw it, they marvelled, and glorified God, which had given such power unto men.

9 And as Jesus passed forth from thence, he saw a man, named Matthew, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he saith unto him, Follow me. And he arose, and followed him.

10 And it came to pass, as Jesus sat at meat in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples.

11 And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your Master with publicans and sinners?

12 But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.

13 But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

14 Then came to him the disciples of John, saying, Why do we and the Pharisees fast oft, but thy disciples fast not?

15 And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bridechamber mourn, as long as the bridegroom is with them? but the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken from them, and then shall they fast.

You can see that the Pharisees are attacking and questioning everything that Jesus does and they are quick to think evil in their hearts.

16 No man putteth a piece of new cloth unto an old garment, for that which is put in to fill it up taketh from the garment, and the rent is made worse.

17 Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.

Jesus is saying that the Jewish religion is an old garment with holes in it, and an old bottle of wine that is empty. That is based!

The rapture will be a baptism by water and by fire

Luke 17:26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. 27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. 28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; 29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

Noah's flood was a picture of baptism. We are told the next time it will be by fire and that is what happened to Sodom and Gomorrah. Jesus said the rapture will be like the days of Noah and the days of Lot. You have two groups of Christians who will go through the rapture, those that are in the ark and are taken and those that are in Sodom and will flee to the hills. For both it will be a baptism. For some they will be conformed to the death of Christ and so they will also be conformed to the likeness of His resurrection. For others they will lose everything in the fire but they themselves will be saved.

The question for this blog is can this continue like this for another year?

2 Peter 3:4 and saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for, from the day that the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

You could have asked this in 2022, you could have asked this in 2023 and now you have to ask this in 2024. Every year it seems the screws get tightened another quarter turn.

We have seen wars for the last 2,000 years. We have seen several pandemics during these two thousand years. We have seen famines and we have seen earthquakes in various places. Rumors of war appear to be a relatively new development as we have had democracies that need to manipulated by the rulers. But the CIA emerged from WW2 along with intelligence agencies in Russia, Israel and the UK. "Rumors" is their specialty.

Have we ever seen all of these things taking place at once all over the globe before? Was it ever like this before? Germany, Ecuador, Peru, China, Ukraine, Middle East, several African nations, Sri Lanka, etc. The world's economy seems to all be collapsing. BRICS is being rolled out at the same time the US dollar appears to be on the verge of collapse.

What we are seeing for the first time is how interconnected the entire world is where something happens in one corner of the globe and the entire globe shakes the same day. We are also seeing things happen much faster, one after another. You get the sense that the world is speeding up and moving towards a climax. The question for this blog is can it continue like this for another year? Could the natural disasters continue to increase at an ever increasing rate, could the lockdowns, martial law, and quarantine camps continue to increase at an increasing rate, could the wars and rumors continue to increase? I feel like the world's economy is a "runaway train" and when we hit the curve we will crash and the curve is the 2024 US election. People seem to have had it, they realize people are lying and they are refusing to take it anymore. People realize they are being manipulated, that the elites are mocking them and we have come to a breaking point. I don't believe it can continue as it has been any longer.

Many argue that "no one knows the day or the hour" of the rapture, but I'm not interested in when the rapture takes place. Right now I am wondering about the tribulation, the last seven years of the age, and as far as I can see that begins with the Feast of Trumpets.

We must arm ourselves with the mind of Christ.

So let's answer the big question, how can Jesus allow horrible things on the earth. Suppose you were to see a loved one killed because you would not renounce Jesus, why would Jesus allow that? Suppose a close loved one is taken from you, a person that you love to fellowship with, why would the Lord do that?

We suffer in this life so that we can empathize and understand God's heart. You are concerned about that loved one that is taken from you, but that is temporary, you will see them in heaven for eternity, at that time God will wipe away every tear. But God wants you to understand that is how He feels when a person he created goes to hell.

You may think that this death is meaningless, but it isn't. God is calling to every person on this planet, your testimony at this moment will impact those who witness you and your death. They witness your suffering. Know that God is working through this extreme event to desperately try and pull that one out of the fires of hell.

I used to play football. I also went to school when they had the "Presidential" some tests in physical fitness. You can measure strength, and speed, and all the various metrics for human fitness and yet a football game is often not determined by who is the biggest, strongest, or fastest. That is why we have "upsets". That is why we have "David vs Goliath" battles. In football you learn that the brain is the most valuable tool. Time and again coaches have demonstrated their smarts in beating an opponent.

If you measured the best quarterback by physical metrics you would never pick Tom Brady or Joe Montana. You would never have picked the Giants beating the Patriots in two superbowls.

My point is you can train all you want, but you need a test, the football game is the test, and war is a test. We are being trained to rule and reign with God.

Here is another example, Peter said he would never deny the Lord and then when tested denied him three times. That failure in turn became the cornerstone of his ministry. If you need a word to help give you a backbone, read Peter.

James was the leader of the "concision" the cult that Paul rebuked. It was his repentance from this failure that gave James his ministry. If you have someone caught up in some brain washing manipulation that is cultic no better word of deliverance than the book of James.

Paul was the biggest sycophant of a false religion but that blindness became the cornerstone for his ministry. If you want a word that dismantles all false doctrine and religion, particularly the apostate church, no better ministry to read than Paul.

Matthew collected taxes for the kingdom of darkness. His repentance was the good news on how we can store our treasure in heaven.

Based on that I will consider 30 AD to be the year of the crucifixion from this point forward. Since Paul says that we became a new creation I will consider this year to be the year that happened. However, should we consider Nisan 17 the day of resurrection? Should we consider the day of Ascension? How about Pentecost when the Spirit was poured out and Jesus gave gifts to men? That was the 8th of Av, very close to Tishrei 1, so it makes more sense to me to say that Tishrei 1 in 30AD was the start of the 5th day. 1030AD would be the start of the sixth day, the year "Christianity was victorious over paganism". That would make 2030 AD the year the Lord defeats the Antichrists governments of the world. The Spring of 2031 will be the deadline on Him returning in glory.

AI is a graven image, another god

20:1 And God spake all these words, saying, 2 I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. 3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

Be careful, AI is clearly going to become and for some has already become "another god" that they have put before the God that is the incarnation of this word.

4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

A graven image refers to a "carved" image. You can view the pen that is writing the code for AI as a carving tool. This can also refer to a molten image because they carve what they want in wood, then they pack it in sand or clay, remove the carved image and pour molten metal into the cavity. So after making one carved image you can then make multiple copies of a molten image. This is what a computer program is. It took me a lot of time to make my computer lesson using Captivate, more time than I would have spent making a lesson plan. But once it is made 150 students can access it separately and that is where it paid off. Instead of me asking and answering the same question 150 times the computer did that. The first year it was more work, but by the second it was less, and by the third much less. This freed me up to do "less important tasks" like updating the grade book and notifying parents. Both of which helped students and parents. A molten image like a coin can be used over and over again, and holds up very well to repetitive use.

Silent generation -- too young to fight in WW2, too old for the 60s. (81-100 right now)

Baby Boomers -- born during the economic book after WW2, hippies, rock n roll music, civil rights movements, etc. (60-80 right now)

Generation X -- The third generation from the WW2 generation. AIDS epidemic, MTV generation

Millennials -- the fourth generation from WW2. The rise of the internet, 911, dependent on technology, entitled and narcissistic. They are in their 20s, 30s and 40s right now.

During the year of the jubilee you are to declare that Jerusalem belongs to the Jews, this was done in 1917 (Balfour declaration), 1967 (Jews get control of Jerusalem) and 2017 (US moves embassy to Jerusalem, recognizing it as the capital of Israel). Therefore I think we can view these three years as the "50th year" which also is the first year of a shemitah, a seven year cycle.

Therefore, if 2017 was the first year in a seven year shemitah, that would mean that 2024 is the first year in a Shemitah cycle. This is important because the "70th week" in Daniel refers to a Shemitah cycle. Therefore I expect the 70th week, often called the 7 year tribulation, begins in 2024. Either it begins in Nisan 1 or it begins Tishrei 1 of 2024.

However, I also think it is very reasonable to say the "pre tribulation" rapture takes place six months before the 70th week based on the typology of David reigning in Hebron for 7 1/2 years before going to Jerusalem and Jacob fulfilling Leah's week before marrying Rachel.

Therefore it seems to me that from here until Nisan 1, April 9th, should be viewed as a very high watch time.

But more importantly I expect this 7 year period to begin on Tishrei 1, Feast of Trumpets, October 2, 2024.
