The Feast of Trumpets
There are two things that most if not all Bible expositors agree on.
1. Feast of Trumpets announces the soon return of the Lord Jesus to the entire earth. This is where everyone will know that Revelation 6:17 for the great day of their wrath and vengeance and retribution has come, and who is able to [face God and] stand [before the wrath of the Lamb]?”
2. The Two witnesses begin their ministry. Coincidentally this is also the same time as the feast of new oil and the two witnesses are called the the two olive trees.
In addition to this we believe that the Antichrist is first revealed either on this feast confirming the covenant with the many or else on the day of Atonement (in Jesus' ministry He proclaimed the Jubilee year, you do that on the day of Atonement and the Antichrist is a counterfeit of Jesus' ministry).
Interestingly the Feast of Trumpets is 10 days to the day of Atonement, though it takes two days to be sure you have sighted the new moon. This is interesting because the two witnesses have a testimony for 42 months, that is 3 1/2 years, and then this is followed by another 3 1/2 years where God's wrath is poured out. So their ministry does not begin 10 "days" before the day of Atonement, but seven "days". Because of this we should be open to the idea that the true Feast of Trumpets actually began 3 years prior to the two witnesses beginning their ministry. For example, if we were to see the two witnesses begin their ministry this Feast of Trumpets in about 2 weeks then that would mean that the true Feast of Trumpets was in 2020. That was the height of the pandemic with a global shutdown. Joel says that this pandemic is a sabbath declared by God for everyone to fast and pray and prepare for the Day of the Lord which is at hand. So that would be plausible. It certainly was a worldwide event that caught everyone's attention.
So then in this scenario this is the "third day" from the Feast of Trumpets. This will be the day that the two witnesses begin a worldwide ministry. How? We recently had some country singer no one had ever heard of, without a contract, living in a trailer, go multiplatinum on two hit songs he put out on Youtube. Compared to the Beatles or Elvis his first week was jaw dropping, never before done.
Second, what event would cause the whole world to realize that the day of the Lamb and of His wrath has come?
It cannot simply be an earthquake or volcano or even a meteor hitting the earth. People didn't say this when we dropped the bomb on Japan so it isn't simply a nuclear war starting. No one said this at the time of Pearl Harbor, so it isn't some surprise attack starting a World War.
The only thing that is uniquely tied to both the Day of the Lord and the Christian faith is the resurrection of the dead. If the dead in Christ were to rise and be seen by many this would certainly get the world's attention. If two of the ones who rise are the two witnesses and were to be interviewed on global TV and say that this is the day of the Lord and of His wrath and then that is followed by the rapture, I think the whole world would be saying "hide us, the great day of the wrath of the Lord has come".
So then, why do we call it the "pre tribulation rapture instead of the "start of the tribulation rapture"? Well this is six months before Nisan and it appears that Israel will restart the sacrifices this Nisan by first sacrificing a red heifer and sanctifying the holy place (perhaps the tabernacle or perhaps they will put up a prefabricated temple in a matter of days). I suspect that they will keep Passover in 2024. So then it is quite possible that the 70th week begins in Nisan 2024, six months from the Feast of Trumpets. Hence, it is the "pre tribulation" rapture.

Rapture takes place during your religious festivals
Colossians 2:16 Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. 17 These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ.
This verse is a very powerful prophecy. So far we have seen that every festival from the Old Testament has been prophetic concerning the coming of Jesus Christ, His death, burial, resurrection, ascension, and outpouring of the Spirit on the church. We can also easily say that the feast of Atonement and the Feast of weeks will also be prophetic. Because of this I have been searching the scriptures to find a religious festival that would be prophetic for the rapture.
9 “In that day,” declares the Sovereign Lord, “I will make the sun go down at noon and darken the earth in broad daylight. 10 I will turn your religious festivals into mourning and all your singing into weeping. I will make all of you wear sackcloth and shave your heads. I will make that time like mourning for an only son and the end of it like a bitter day.
This verse supported the idea that the day of the Lord appears during “your religious festivals” for the Jews. We have two very concentrated periods of religious festivals for the Jews. You have Passover, unleavened bread and Firstfruits all in a three day period. Jesus crucifixion was one half of this prophecy. The world rejoiced while His disciples wept, but then their weeping was turned to joy. But it is plural, this is referring to more than one festival. The second cluster of festivals is six months later with Feast of Trumpets, Day of Atonement and the Feast of Tabernacles. You have a ten day period very quickly followed by an eight day period.
At the beginning of the church age our sorrow was turned to joy when Jesus rose from the dead. At the end of the church age our fasting will end when we are gathered to the Lord in the air. Meanwhile the world rejoiced when Jesus was crucified, but they will mourn when the rapture takes place. All their songs will be turned to dirges. The children will be gone, the joy will be gone, everyone will know that God's judgement is here and they are not doing too well in their stand before Him.
Hebrews 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
If we are seeing the day approaching we should be assembling together. However, Joel says that the sign that the day is approaching is a pandemic that causes us not to gather together. There is really only one church meeting that is required for us to keep and that is the Lord’s table, this sabbath day for Christians is a celebration of the coronation of Jesus and also of the wedding of Jesus, both of which are part of the shadow of the rapture of the Bride.

Revelation 14:8 Then another angel, a second one, followed, saying, “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, she who has made all nations drink the wine of the passion of her immorality [corrupting them with idolatry].”

9 Then another angel, a third one, followed them, saying with a loud voice, “Whoever worships the beast and his image and receives the mark [of the beast] on his forehead or on his hand, 10 he too will [have to] drink of the wine of the wrath of God, [b]mixed undiluted into the cup of His anger; and he will be tormented with fire and brimstone (flaming sulfur) in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb (Christ). 11 And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day and night—those who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.” 12 Here is [encouragement for] the steadfast endurance of the saints (God’s people), those who habitually keep God’s commandments and their faith in Jesus.
Some people think this takes place near the end of the tribulation because we see a detailed account in chapters 17 and 18. But these verses in chapter 14 prove it takes place at the very beginning of the tribulation. The mark of the beast is something imposed during the first half of the tribulation during the ministry of the two witnesses. The Christians are tested, will they worship the lord alone or will they take the mark to save their life. This makes it very clear that Babylon is destroyed prior to that test to the believers left behind.
My understanding is that the US is the Great Babylon and they will be destroyed at the very beginning of the tribulation. The US sits on all seven continents and we are composed of many peoples, tribes and tongues, and we also unlike all other countries sit on many waters. (Atlantic Ocean, Pacific Ocean, Gulf of Mexico and Artic Ocean). The destruction of the US instantly transforms the world situation from one where people are eating, drinking, marrying and giving in marriage to an apocalyptic scene of the tribulation.

I am reposting this video because it appears that this is undoubtedly the Revelation 12 sign and the Lord has also revealed in the last video that this sign is our version of the Star of Bethlehem that tells us the child will be born at this time. This blog has been a summary on all the various topics concerning the rapture and this sign is easily the most significant "sign" that we have seen.
Everything is important, it adjusts us, corrects us, encourages, strengthens, guides us and gives us hope. But this sign is certainly something that every believer watching for the Lord's return would want to see.

I disagree with a lot of what he is teaching here about feast of Trumpets and I think much of his understanding comes from traditional teachings which he has embraced and not rejected. However, my key principle was to not be the "arbiter of truth". I have posted many links on this blog from people I don't fully agree with.

Test and evaluate yourselves to see whether you are in the faith
1. I believe that The Feast of Trumpets was fulfilled in 2020. We joke about the pandemic, two weeks to "flatten the curve" became the longest day. Since that time, from September of 2020 to September of 2022 the "two witnesses" have been blowing their trumpets about the Lord's coming and we have heard 99 trumpet blasts. In 2020 the moon was just a fingernail, but by 2021 we had illegal mandates and we knew they were lying to us. By 2022 we had the data and evidence that they were lying to us and had acted criminally.
2. The "two witnesses" (let's call them the watchmen) do not just randomly look into the sky and see a new moon and say "Feast of Trumpets". We had signs, we had the two cows in 2015 which told us we had seven more years of plenty and that sign gave us a 1 year heads up that this would start. We had the Revelation 12 sign which we now know was not the Revelation 12 sign, it was the heads up that the Revelation 12 sign was coming in six years. Then we had Trump sign the Abraham accords. Could that be the covenant that Daniel was referring to? No. But was it a major heads up that we were close? Yes.
3. On the Feast of Trumpets in 2020 Ruth Bader Ginsburg died, because of her death Trump appointed a Supreme court justice that made the difference is overturning Roe v. Wade. The Day of the Lord is a day of judgement. This one event will result in the judgement of so many as we will see who loves a lie, and who loves the truth. The behavior of the pro abortionists is on full display and will be judged.
4. The BLM protests in 2020 reminded us of Jonah walking the streets of Nineveh for 40 days. Nineveh had been slaveholders of Israelites and Jonah hated them. In front of the Whitehouse they painted "Black Lives Matter" and that reminded us of the story in Jonah where the king humbled himself before God and God looked down and saw this. In June 2021 we had the sign of Noah, a man swallowed by a Humpback whale and a boy named Jonah rescued from the collapsing building.
5. There are 10 days of Awe, not 7. From 2020 to 2030 is 10 years. The last seven of these years is described in the book of Revelation. However, before the last seven days the high priest changes into a linen garment and is taken to the Temple chamber to be kept safe for the Day of Atonement and to prepare for all the things that will be done on that day. This is a picture of the rapture. It is the only picture of a rapture that we have in the appointed feasts. Paul says we will be changed and Isaiah says we will be taken to a chamber to be kept safe. This happens seven days before the Day of Atonement just as Noah entered the ark seven days before the flood. We are told "on the last trump the dead in Christ arise". This happens when they blow the 100th trumpet at the end of the 2nd day, the feast of Trumpets. That will be the "awakening blast".
6. The two witnesses begin their ministry at this point. It may be that they are raised from the dead? But this event will obviously get worldwide attention and put the fear of God into people. It is accompanied by the great earthquake, which is the opening of the sixth seal. (Yes, I have already shared that the first five seals were opened shortly after Jesus death and resurrection, this is plainly told us in Revelation 5:6 and also in the book of Ephesians chapter 3, Romans 16:25, 1Corinthians 15:51, Colossians 1:26-27, 2Thessalonians 2:7, 1Timothy 3:16).
7. These dead who are raised may walk around the city and be seen by many just as at the time of Jesus' resurrection. As a result this could propel the ministry of the two witnesses to be worldwide. Then the rapture takes place. This wakes up the entire world to realize this is the day of the Lord and that the wrath of the Lamb has come.
8. What percent of Israelites were the high priest? What percent of the 12 spies gave a good report? Not everyone who believes in the Lord gets raptured, not all believers "love the Lord's appearing". What percent of Christians today are "watchmen"? The rapture and being left behind will cause many to repent and to turn to the Lord and this will usher in the greatest revival ever. This will be the days of Elijah, the days of miracles. The persecution will be off the charts and so will the Lord's saving grace.
I can't stand the debate over "once saved always saved". I find it to be the realm of those who do not read the word of God. When we get saved we get "born again", "born of the Spirit", "sealed by God". All that is true. But children can be disowned, think of Reuben. Think of Korah. Think of the ten spies that gave an evil report. Many who teach OSAS will acknowledge these examples but then make up something like we don't know that they went to hell. Really, the earth swallowed up Korah whole and we were told this was a special punishment. Or they will claim that people like Judas were never saved. The bottom line is they don't know anything. No one knew that Judas wasn't saved, he was one of the 12 disciples of the Lord. Korah was a priest. The ten spies were the most honored of their tribes. Was Reuben not really a child or Jacob? All this discussion is idiotic. The Bible never says that the reason Reuben was rejected was because he wasn't really Jacob's son, it says he was a profane person. That is why. Every time the Bible warns us of the flesh, and tells us all these people who were rejected were rejected because of the flesh, because of rebellion, and because of unbelief. Never does it say they were never saved, it tells us "they were rejected".
The stone which the builder's rejected has become the chief cornerstone. They rejected Jesus, He rejected them.
Luke 17:25 But first He must suffer many things and be repudiated and rejected and considered unfit [to be the Messiah] by this [unbelieving] generation.
This is how you reveal what is in the heart of man. God judges the hearts. Think on that before you reject the testimony of the watchmen.
Acts 7:35 “This Moses whom they rejected, saying, ‘Who made you a ruler and a judge?’ is the very one whom God sent to be both a ruler and a deliverer, with the [protecting and helping] hand of the Angel who appeared to him in the thorn bush.
2Corinthians 13:5 Test and evaluate yourselves to see whether you are in the faith and living your lives as [committed] believers. Examine yourselves [not me]! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves [by an ongoing experience] that Jesus Christ is in you—unless indeed you fail the test and are rejected as counterfeit?
1Timothy 1:19 keeping your faith [leaning completely on God with absolute trust and confidence in His guidance] and having a good conscience; for some [people] have rejected [their moral compass] and have made a shipwreck of their faith.

This happens when they blow the 100th trumpet at the end of the 2nd day, the feast of Trumpets. That will be the "awakening blast".
6. The two witnesses begin their ministry at this point. It may be that they are raised from the dead? But this event will obviously get worldwide attention and put the fear of God into people. It is accompanied by the great earthquake, which is the opening of the sixth seal. (Yes, I have already shared that the first five seals were opened shortly after Jesus death and resurrection, this is plainly told us in Revelation 5:6 and also in the book of Ephesians chapter 3, Romans 16:25, 1Corinthians 15:51, Colossians 1:26-27, 2Thessalonians 2:7, 1Timothy 3:16).
7. These dead who are raised may walk around the city and be seen by many just as at the time of Jesus' resurrection. As a result this could propel the ministry of the two witnesses to be worldwide. Then the rapture takes place. This wakes up the entire world to realize this is the day of the Lord and that the wrath of the Lamb has come.
8. What percent of Israelites were the high priest? What percent of the 12 spies gave a good report? Not everyone who believes in the Lord gets raptured, not all believers "love the Lord's appearing". What percent of Christians today are "watchmen"? The rapture and being left behind will cause many to repent and to turn to the Lord and this will usher in the greatest revival ever. This will be the days of Elijah, the days of miracles. The persecution will be off the charts and so will the Lord's saving grace.
I can't stand the debate over "once saved always saved". I find it to be the realm of those who do not read the word of God. When we get saved we get "born again", "born of the Spirit", "sealed by God". All that is true. But children can be disowned, think of Reuben. Think of Korah. Think of the ten spies that gave an evil report. Many who teach OSAS will acknowledge these examples but then make up something like we don't know that they went to hell. Really, the earth swallowed up Korah whole and we were told this was a special punishment. Or they will claim that people like Judas were never saved. The bottom line is they don't know anything. No one knew that Judas wasn't saved, he was one of the 12 disciples of the Lord. Korah was a priest. The ten spies were the most honored of their tribes. Was Reuben not really a child or Jacob? All this discussion is idiotic. The Bible never says that the reason Reuben was rejected was because he wasn't really Jacob's son, it says he was a profane person. That is why. Every time the Bible warns us of the flesh, and tells us all these people who were rejected were rejected because of the flesh, because of rebellion, and because of unbelief. Never does it say they were never saved, it tells us "they were rejected".
The stone which the builder's rejected has become the chief cornerstone. They rejected Jesus, He rejected them.
Luke 17:25 But first He must suffer many things and be repudiated and rejected and considered unfit [to be the Messiah] by this [unbelieving] generation.
This is how you reveal what is in the heart of man. God judges the hearts. Think on that before you reject the testimony of the watchmen.
