Repent!

Revelation 9:1 And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit. 2 And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. 3 And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. 4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.

This is the mercy of God. Two amazing things are revealed here, first this plague does not touch those who are saved, those with the seal of God in their foreheads and second, the saved are still on earth preaching the gospel. This gives people a taste of hell. Many seem to think hell will be "fun" or a "party". This is merciful to let them know what it will really be like.

5 And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man. 6 And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.

They discover that hell is worse than death. The Bible tells us not to fear death but fear the one who can throw you into hell after you die. Here the unbelievers get to see the truth in this.

20 And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: 21 Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.

God desires all men to be saved. These plagues are so that everyone knows the truth, do you really want to go to hell? This is what it is going to be like. Repent of your murders, sorceries, fornication and theft.

Betrayed

Luke 21:16 And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.

This sounds like what is happening on social media and platforms like Facebook. If we look at the whole earth over the last two thousand years it is certainly true that some believers were put to death.

Mark 13:12 Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.

Children rising up against their parents sounds like what the communists do to indoctrinate the children and use them to betray their parents.

Matthew 24:10 At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other,

This sounds like what happens when the mark of the beast is instituted and you have to either worship the beast or else you get beheaded. People turn away from the faith.

An Auspicious day for a wedding

In Israel there are two days that are considered very auspicious for a wedding. The 15th of Av and the Day of Atonement.

However, according to the typology the 15th of Av would be the day all those left behind were raptured. The picture is that they believed an evil report and so were cursed and this was the day they realized that curse was over and the 40 years in the wilderness was over. You could easily compare that to the forty months in the tribulation for those left behind.

So even though the Day of Atonement comes after the 15th of Av, actually as a typology of the wedding it came first. Moses came down on the 8th of Av, judged the children of Israel and 3,000 died on the 9th of Av, then he went back up the mountain and returned again with the two tablets of stone on the day of Atonement. It was forty years later that Israel celebrated the 15th of Av for the first time.

We have always understood that there are two aspects to the rapture, it is wonderful for those who are taken and very tough on those left behind. In the same way the tradition concerning the Day of Atonement is that everyone's prayer is that their name would be found written in the book of life. This is like Christians praying that they will be accounted worthy to be taken by the Lord.

Also, Jesus tells Sardis that them not being raptured would be equivalent to having their names blotted out of the book of life. That is a direct reference to the day of atonement.

Clearing up a misperception

1Corinthians 6:1 Dare any of you, having a matter against his neighbor, go to law before the unrighteous, and not before the saints? 2 Or know ye not that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world is judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?

As Christians we are certainly capable of judging the matters of this world. When Jesus said "Judge not lest you be judged" He was referring to judging another brother or sisters stance before the Lord.

For example, we can judge whether or not the Hunter Biden laptop is real, we can judge whether or not there was election fraud, we can judge whether or not the vaccine mandate violated the law. These are small matters. We cannot judge if a brother or sister is being faithful to the Lord or obeying His command, that is something the Lord can judge.

There is only one way to deal with offenses between saints

1Corinthians 6:7 Nay, already it is altogether a defect in you, that ye have lawsuits one with another. Why not rather take wrong? why not rather be defrauded? 8 Nay, but ye yourselves do wrong, and defraud, and that your brethren. 9 Or know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with men, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you: but ye were washed, but ye were sanctified, but ye were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and in the Spirit of our God.

Jesus told us in Matthew 18. First, if you are offended you must go and tell the brother or sister privately between you and them. If they repent you have won your brother or sister, which is the goal. Repentance doesn't simply mean saying you are sorry. You may have to "make it right" which could include restitution. If you take this rule you will discover that on 90% of the offenses you would rather just ignore it. However, suppose the brother or sister refuses to repent. You then have to explain what it is that offended you to two or three others and have them come and talk to this brother or sister. Often when we think of an offense we realize how hard and even absurd it would be to explain it to others. So even though we may feel this is a real offense and you would be willing to go talk to the brother or sister, you also realize if you have to go and explain this to two or three others and have them join you in talking to this brother or sister it just isn't worth it. So as a result you probably ignore 95% of the offenses because you would not want to take this to the next level if you had to. However, if the person refuses to hear them then you have to tell it to the elders and if he refuse to hear them the person would be excommunicated. Is this offense really on the level where you would want the person excommunicated if it were to get to that? Sometimes there are offenses on that level and it can be very hard to deal with it and the temptation is to ignore it. In my experience the offenses you would rather ignore the Lord will not allow you to ignore and the offenses you want retribution on are the ones the Lord wants you to ignore.

12 All things are lawful for me; but not all things are expedient. All things are lawful for me; but I will not be brought under the power of any. 13 Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall bring to nought both it and them. But the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body:

This is what Paul is saying right here. Often the offense is "I saw that brother drinking alcohol, or I saw him eating at that place, etc." According to the Jewish law it was unlawful to even eat at a place that was not kosher, regardless of what you ate. So they make a big deal over these trivial matters. But then they see that a brother or sister is living in fornication and they want to overlook this. Paul is letting you know, he has heard many offenses that he is overlooking, but this one he isn't.

14 and God both raised the Lord, and will raise up us through his power. 15 Know ye not that your bodies are members of Christ? shall I then take away the members of Christ, and make them members of a harlot? God forbid. 16 Or know ye not that he that is joined to a harlot is one body? for, The twain, saith he, shall become one flesh. 17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. 18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. 19 Or know ye not that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which ye have from God? and ye are not your own; 20 for ye were bought with a price: glorify God therefore in your body.

I thought it was "my body, my choice" but Paul makes it clear, it is Jesus' body Jesus' choice.

Iran, Banks, Caterpillars & Wheat 08/24/2023

There is a doctrine of "once saved always saved". To different people they have different understandings. For some they think this means if you prayed 30 years ago then that is it, you are saved for eternity no matter what. What is unfathomable is that the Bible says clearly

1Corinthians 6:9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

And yet those who do these things think they will inherit the kingdom of God.

Galatians 5:21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Did God stutter?

Ephesians 5:5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

How many times does He have to tell us?

Hebrews 12:17 For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.

How many times does He need to warn us?

Revelation 22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

There are others who explain that this means you were never saved. That is fine, but meaningless. If that is your understanding then you understand you can see a person's stance before God not based on their testimony of praying 30 years ago, but how they are living today. Like anything you can take this too far. A tattoo does not tell you if a person is saved or not, the clothes they wear for the most part does not tell you. If they wear a head covering or make up does not tell you. But if they love to lie and make lies, then you know. If they are murderers (and it is very reasonable to consider abortion murder) then you know. A murderer is not the same as someone who had an abortion. You can repent of a sin and be washed in the blood and cleanses. However, if you are out on the street protesting for the right to kill babies or are working in an abortion clinic, then this is not simply a single sin that you have confessed and repented of but rather this is who you are. You are an abortionist.

I am somewhat ambivalent to this kind of teaching. Is it Biblical? Yes. Is it concerning the rapture? Yes. Can this be considered as "watching" for the Lord's return? Yes. This is why I continue to post links.

However, I see limited utility in being so focused on "when". The rapture is a judgement, some will be taken, some left, that is a judgment. If I were about to be judged the "when" would be the least of my concerns. Also, this is something that they will come and get you, there is no worry that somehow you'll miss it because you were late. My primary concern is what should I be doing to pass this judgment. I always told my students that an exam is "an opportunity to shine". People who fail simply get exposed, but the people who get 100 also get "exposed".

7 Reasons Against Pre-Trib Rapture

Chapters 0:00 Introduction I disagree with several points that he makes in summarizing the pre tribulation rapture. He says it was not generally taught until the 19th century, that is very deceptive. We know that the Bible was not generally taught until after it was printed in the 16th century. What is far more relevant is whether or not the New Testament apostles taught it and that is a resounding yes. 2nd he says that those who hold this view say that the christians will not be here in the tribulation. That is clearly false. There may be someone somewhere that teaches that but it is absurd, the record is very clear that Christians will be here during the tribulation. In my understanding one sixth of the Christians will be taken before the tribulation and five sixths will go through the tribulation.

2:58 Before Things Get Better, They Will Become Worse -- The argument here is that the pre tribulation rapture is a doctrine that breeds snowflakes. I don't disagree that this is a doctrine that many hold and will be greatly surprised when they are left behind. But I look at it differently, the Lord said to pray that you are accounted worthy to escape all these things. I believe the pre-tribulation rapture is a reward to those who are accounted worthy and they would not be accounted worthy if they were snowflakes. Falth gives us courage, hope and love. These believers will be courageous like Joshua and Caleb. To me it is like Hebrews 11, everyone in the Hall of fame of faith would be those raptured. They all exhibited great faith, courage, hope and love in the face of tribulation. To me the debate is not about going through tribulation, the entire church age is tribulation. The debate is about calling the last seven years "the tribulation", that is misleading, it should be called the 70th week of Daniel. This seven years starts when the church age ends, and the church age ends with the rapture.

5:13 One Second Coming of Christ -- this is true, there is only one second coming and it refers to Jesus stepping down in Jerusalem (Mount Zion and Mount of Olives), but that is not what happens at the rapture. We meet Jesus in the air and go to a chamber where we are hidden for seven years till His indignation is past.

6:10 Scripture Tie Rapture and Second Coming as One Event

We who are alive and "remain". That word makes no sense if some who were alive weren't previously taken. If there is only one rapture then the dead rise, and then those who are alive join them. What do you mean "we who are alive and remain"? Obviously it means some who are alive have already left, that is raptured. 1Corinthians 15 says "we shall all be changed". Again, why do you need to say "all"? The dead in Christ are raised and then those who are alive will also be changed, what do you mean "all"? If some were raptured earlier and were changed they are a subset of all Christians. However, those who remain have this promise that they too will be changed because here it says "we all will be changed". I may not have been raptured but I am still part of "we all".

7:42 Second Coming is After the Tribulation -- Everyone agrees with this. Revelation 3:3 and 3:10 are clear and straightforward verses that some will be kept from the hour of trial and some won't. Also I disagree that the non mention of the church is not a clear indication. The first three chapters of Revelation are all about the church. Once John goes into heaven and sees the coronation of Jesus and the Lampstand in heaven we do not hear about the church again until after the tribulation. Now consider that all the things we do hear are designed to get people to repent of their sins and idolatry. Now it might apply to backslidden Christians, it might apply to luke warm Christians, but what does that have to do with the church which is a pure and spotless bride?

10:00 1st Resurrection is Right Before Millenial Reign

There are two resurrections, those who are raised to live with Jesus and those who are raised to face judgement and the lake of Fire. The first resurrection includes everyone who is raised prior to the millenial reigh. Those who are raptured before the tribulation, during the tribulation and also those who are saved as the nation of Israel. To not interpret this way makes absolutel no sense, what about the two witnesses that are raised in the middle of the tribulation, what resurrection is that? What about Jesus and the others raised when He was raised, what resurrection is that?

12:23 The Wrath of God? No, it is very clear in the book of Revelation that the first three and a half years are man's actions, and the second half of the 70th week is God pouring out His wrath on the earth. It is clearly not Biblical for the Christians to be on the earth after the two witnesses are resurrected.

16:39 Christians Are Told To Expect Tribulation -- Yes, which is why we should consider the entire church age as tribulation and we should stop referring to this seven year period as "the tribulation" and instead should call it "the 70th week of Daniel" which begins after the church age ends.

Every since Joe Biden became president the border has been thrown wide open and the US is being filled with men as caterpillers. NYC which was a refuge city is pleading for billions of dollars to help house and feed these "caterpillers". We are also seeing man made fires everywhere, 120+ food processing plants sabotaged, train derailments, a thousand people dead from a fire, it is hard to imagine that the US is not being invaded and that they haven't lifted a threat against us. So far more than 6 million have come across our border during Joe Biden's presidency. By comparison around 133,000 troops landed on Normandy on D day. This is 50x that, it is an invading force.

17 Every man is brutish by his knowledge; every founder is confounded by the graven image: for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them. 18 They are vanity, the work of errors: in the time of their visitation they shall perish.

The graven image refers to money. Whether coins or paper, it is a graven image. The US dollar is now in the time of their visitation and they are about to perish. This is what wars are fought over, who is king, and you know who is king by looking at the currency and seeing whose face is on the money.

The destroying mountain is a reference to the Lord's word about cursing the Fig tree and saying that we could speak to this mountain to be taken up and cast into the sea and it would be done for us. The US is the destroying mountain that has destroyed all the earth. Vietnam, Korea, Central America, African nations, the nordstream pipeline, the bioweapons lab in Wuhan that the US financed, the CIA installing puppet regimes, JFK assassination, RFK assassination, Martin Luther King Jr., etc. The US is the great Babylon which will be destroyed. Many nations are allying themselves against us to destroy us and we will be desolate forever, indicating a potential nuclear war. This would explain why there are no inhabitants. However you want to look at it, a war is going to be devastating. We have 93 nuclear power reactors operating in the US. You can't simply leave these without constant attention and in a war with people's homes being destroyed and families killed you will not be able to give them constant attention. We could end up with 93 Chernobyls.

When Babylon is destroyed there is going to be a terrible judgement on the nation. Peter said that "judgement must begin with the house of God". The US as a "Christian nation" must be judged first, at the start of the tribulation.

1Kings 8:37 If there be in the land famine, if there be pestilence, blasting, mildew, locust, or if there be caterpiller; if their enemy besiege them in the land of their cities; whatsoever plague, whatsoever sickness there be; 38 What prayer and supplication soever be made by any man, or by all thy people Israel, which shall know every man the plague of his own heart, and spread forth his hands toward this house: 39 Then hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place, and forgive, and do, and give to every man according to his ways, whose heart thou knowest; (for thou, even thou only, knowest the hearts of all the children of men 40 That they may fear thee all the days that they live in the land which thou gavest unto our fathers.

Lord Jesus we turn to you, confessing our sins and repenting for them. We pray wash us in your blood, we belong to you, and we repudiate everything we have done that has brought shame to your name.

Joe Biden will be seen as one of the most historic presidents in US history.

1. He was president when BRICS was formed. One thing is certain, we are seeing the end of the "king dollar". There are many prophecies saying US dollars will be worthless as leaves in the wind. It is not immediately apparent how long it will take for this to be fulfilled, could be a month, two months, five months, six months. Really hard to time these things. However, I think the odds on favorite is that the dollar will collapse before the 2024 election.

2. We are also seeing the beginning of WW3, no one saw this coming prior to Biden getting elected. He didn't inherit this, he created this mess.

3. He was in charge of the most embarrassing defeat the US has ever had on a similar scale as Vietnam with the withdrawal from Vietnam.

4. He has also ruled over a wide ranging collapse of our economy.

5. In addition to all this he has a record low approval ratings in the polls.

Ezekiel 21:25-31 Overturn, overturn, overturn it

25 And thou, profane wicked prince of Israel, whose day is come, when iniquity shall have an end, 26 Thus saith the Lord God; Remove the diadem, and take off the crown: this shall not be the same: exalt him that is low, and abase him that is high.

Who is this wicked prince of Israel whose day has come when iniquity shall have an end? It seems it is the Biden crime family that has been involved in selling out this country for 47 years. The Biden family is clearly profane. It appears that they worked with Clinton, Kerry and Obama as well. The elites, representing the richest 1% appear to be working on a plan to have one world government, something they refer to as "the great reset". The only real hinderance to this plan is the US, if they can bankrupt the US there would be nothing to stand in the way. What really gives them power is "one world currency". If you control the currency you can tax the world by simply printing more money. However, you have to exercise great control to make sure they don't barter or use their own currency. Multinational corporations like this because wages are low and the market is big, 8 billion people in the world compared to 350 million in the US. This word appears to demonstrate that it is God's will that the deplorables would take the crown from the elites.

27 I will overturn, overturn, overturn, it: and it shall be no more, until he come whose right it is; and I will give it him.

Three times He will overturn it. Overturn the Presidential election, overturn election of many legislators, and overturn the attempt by the Democrats to pack the Supreme court. We can see all that Biden has tried to ram through. If we can stop this then it will be a great hinderance to this one world government run by the Antichrist.

28 And thou, son of man, prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord God concerning the Ammonites, and concerning their reproach; even say thou, The sword, the sword is drawn: for the slaughter it is furbished, to consume because of the glittering: 29 Whiles they see vanity unto thee, whiles they divine a lie unto thee, to bring thee upon the necks of them that are slain, of the wicked, whose day is come, when their iniquity shall have an end.

This will be the outcome of the investigation into election fraud and into pedophilia and human trafficking. They will be slain and their iniquity will come to an end. What is happening in Maricopa county is very exciting, they have uncovered significant fraud opening the way for Georgia, Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania to also do audits. Who knows, every state might want to do a thorough investigation. A glittering sword could refer to the US military but I think it is more likely that it refers to the very large planet pulling a long train of debris behind it that is traveling through our solar system. As I understand we will have a meteor shower in the US from the tail of this thing and it will be catastrophic like the sword of God coming down on the US.

30 Shall I cause it to return into his sheath? I will judge thee in the place where thou wast created, in the land of thy nativity. 31 And I will pour out mine indignation upon thee, I will blow against thee in the fire of my wrath, and deliver thee into the hand of brutish men, and skilful to destroy.

So this is still not the end. These BLM protests were the result of people being manipulated by those who wanted to bring in a socialist regime with George Soros being the chief architect of this. The idea is to undermine the social order and the middle class so that a tyrannical government could take power. When these “brutish” people realize they have been “played” they will turn on them. It will be like the hyena’s turning on Scar in the Lion king.

32 Thou shalt be for fuel to the fire; thy blood shall be in the midst of the land; thou shalt be no more remembered: for I the Lord have spoken it.

So these ones who have been pulling down statues will make sure to wipe out any remembrance of those involved in this fraud. But this still leaves us with a big, huge question! He said that His sword would cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked. Earlier He said essentially that "as you have done it will be done to you".

31 And I will pour out mine indignation upon thee, I will blow against thee in the fire of my wrath, and deliver thee into the hand of brutish men, and skillful to destroy.

Once the righteous are taken in the rapture all those left on earth will be delivered into the hands of brutish men, and skillful to destroy. Already we are seeing this mark of the beast as a chip that is injected into you with the vaccine. It is “skillful” and it will give brutish men the power to destroy. So this chapter presents three groups of people to us. The righteous who are taken in the rapture. The wicked who will be slain with this sword of the law. Then there is the third group, they were not involved with the wickedness nor did they stand with the righteous. They will be left behind when the “Hyenas” are able to take power and destroy everything.
