Prophetic Word – “The Event” – Reversing the Iran Nuke Deal

Given to Byron Searle on May 1, 2018
Note – Search latest news on Biden’s reversing the Iran Nuke Deal that Trump removed us from –
the current news as of June 14, 2023 is this is close to be resurrected and reversed.
Jeremiah 9:23-24 "Thus saith the Lord, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the
mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: But let him that glorieth glory
in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the Lord which exercise loving-kindness,
judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the Lord."
Transcript:
My son, hear now and write. Great distress is soon to come upon this nation. Those who thought
themselves wise have sown the seeds of this nation's destruction. In the coming days, the king
[Biden] will reverse the treaty with the Persians [Iran Nuke Deal], and the beginning of Jacob's
Trouble will begin. Those whose wisdom is of this world will be made fools, for they did not seek
Me, but sought the king.
My son, now is the time for My remnant to be ready to move when I speak to your heart. Many,
many people will seek you, My remnant, for you hear Me. My remnant will be calm, for I have
given them peace in a time of destruction, and My children who laughed at and mocked you will cry
out to you for answers. Pray for the president's [Trump] safety while in hostile conditions.
My son, the darkness of the coming days will take all peoples and nations by total surprise. No
one expects what will happen, but I will tell My remnant prior to the event. This event will lead to
the kick-off event that I have told many will happen. I am the Lord and I exercise My judgment in
the earth. I delight in seeing the lost come to Me, and in the coming days many will. My judgments
will bring glorious revivals where the fire of My Holy Spirit will flow [Second Pentecost – June 25th]
like a waterfall over those who repent. Much hardship lies ahead, but those who place their faith in
Me will flourish in a dry, desolate land. I am coming soon for a strong, revived body walking in great
power by My Spirit, saith the Lord.
The king [Biden] will make several mistakes in the days ahead that will open the doors of
destruction on this nation. War is coming home - choose the right side, My people! Seek Me and
repent! REPENT, YOU STIFF-NECKED PEOPLE!!! I love you My remnant, and I love you My lost
people.

Alien invasion

2 Thessalonians 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

What lie?

12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Wow, what does it mean to be "damned"?

Isaiah 66:4 I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.

Oh, God will choose their delusions. From a list of si fi movies and the horror genre? What are "their fears"? People who ignore God and "do their own thing" right in the face of God as a kind of middle finger to God, these people have nightmares. They are paranoid. They have the pinnochio syndrome, the more they lie the more they suspect everyone around them is also a liar.

When the CIA accuses others of being conspiracy theorists, putting together insane conspiracy theories to slander others it is because that is what they do every day.

Hosea 14:9 Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the Lord are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein.

If you want to be wise it begins with the fear of the Lord and then you can learn wisdom from the word of God. You will learn to understand the dark sayings. This alien invasion is one of the dark sayings in the Bible. God has promised to bring the nightmare to the sinful world. When we read of battles in the Bible many times God sends these nightmares to the enemy army and they wind up killing each other and running away in terror.

Hosea 12:10 I have also spoken by the prophets, and I have multiplied visions, and used similitudes, by the ministry of the prophets.

I have seen this first hand. People mock God's prophets, so God mocks them. He sends them these fantastic visions that seem utterly absurd and baits the mockers and scoffers into mocking them only to then bring that very thing on their head at which point all their jokes are really funny as in "he who laughs last laughs best".

Mark 1:27 And they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying, What thing is this? what new doctrine is this? for with authority commandeth he even the unclean spirits, and they do obey him.

There are 18 references to unclean spirits in the gospels and yet many refuse to hear, they will explain this away as myths, not understanding medical conditions, schizophrenia, epilepsy, etc. They wanted to "demythologize" the Bible with their "superior" scientific understanding. This is arrogance and foolishness. The Bible tells us the truth, ignoring 18 references to demon possession in the gospels is arrogance and foolishness. You lack the fear of God and you cannot learn wisdom and understand the dark sayings till you repent of that arrogance.

The demons are going to enjoy this

2Thessalonians 2:8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

Witchcraft is called "wickens". I believe that the FreeMasons and the new age movement is filled with witchcraft that they have been hiding but now is coming out into the light. We are seeing these worldwide celebrations worshipping Satan and witchcraft.

9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

"All lying wonders" sounds like magic. This is how Satan and witches operate, they create signs and lying wonders the same way a magician does.

10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

The world is filled with liars. They use every form of lie, every way possible to deceive others. Cheating and lying and defrauding others is a game to them. This is why when they ask Biden about the $5 million he laughs and says see if you can find the money. To him it is a game of hide and seek.

11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

Righteous judgement is as you have done it will be done to you. These people sent strong delusions, they hired the best lawyers to wrap up their lies into enigmas and make it very strong. They use plausible deniability as their standard operating procedure. So it is fitting that God does the same thing to them. Do not say "God would never do that". God would never do that to someone who loved the truth and confessed of their lies and repented of them. But if your whole life has been to defraud others with lies, you can bet your judgement will be God doing the same to you.

12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

You know they have pleasure in this. They gather with their friends to get a drink and joke about how they cheated, defrauded and scammed others. So again, do not be surprised if they also become the butt of jokes with demons and fallen angels cheating, defrauding, scamming them and then laughing about it. The demons are going to enjoy torturing these ones.

Isaiah 26:1-8 -- Open ye the gates

1 In that day shall this song be sung in the land of Judah; We have a strong city; salvation will God appoint for walls and bulwarks.

This day refers to the Day of the Lord and is prophetic for the end of this age.

2 Open ye the gates, that the righteous nation which keepeth the truth may enter in.

This verse refers to the rapture of the saints. Notice that it is those that "keep the truth" that may enter in. The word of God is truth, Jesus is full of grace and truth. The church is the pillar and base of the truth. It is our job to keep the truth.

3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. 4 Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength:

The saints are raptured to a place of perfect peace during the tribulation. Prior to this event there will be signs, there will be rumors, there will be demonic things, rebellious things, and to keep in perfect peace you will need to keep your mind stayed on the Lord.

5 For he bringeth down them that dwell on high; the lofty city, he layeth it low; he layeth it low, even to the ground; he bringeth it even to the dust.

The Lord will bring down the arrogant to the dust at this time. These aren’t saints, so they must be unbelievers. Many believers have the mistaken understanding that we have nothing to do with what is happening on the world, or with the leaders of these countries. The bible weaves the story of what is happening to both together. One verse it is the rapture, the next verse is the judgement on the corrupt rulers. Not only so but there is a verse that once He that restrains steps aside then all hell breaks loose. The church, as the bride of Christ, is animated by the Holy Spirit and is restraining evil on this earth until they are raptured. They expose election fraud, they expose the lies of the media, they hold the leaders accountable, they reject the sin that we see on Hunter Biden’s laptop. So then today what city is the "lofty city"? Would that be Washington DC? NYC? LA? Beijing? London? Rome? Jerusalem? Moscow? It might be all of them but one would think it is certainly one of them. So let's look a little closer, 5th Avenue in NYC, that is "lofty", Hollywood in LA that is lofty, etc. All of these cities have their "lofty portions". How about Wall Street, Embassy row, Buckingham Palace, or the Vatican?

6 The foot shall tread it down, even the feet of the poor, and the steps of the needy.

This is justice, as they have done it will be done to you. They tread down the poor and needy, so it is only right that they are tread upon by the poor and needy. Look at how they have treated the deplorables, well, as you have done it will be done to you. We have been commanded to love others as the Lord loved us. He loved us when we were in sin, when we were dead in our sins and offenses. Then we are told to love in deed, not just words. So it is a commandment of the Lord that we stand in defense of unbelievers, sinners, and those who are in sins. We are seeing 6 million illegal aliens invading our southern border, many of these ones will be the "poor" that shall tread down the lofty city.

7 The way of the just is uprightness: thou, most upright, dost weigh the path of the just. 8 Yea, in the way of thy judgments, O Lord, have we waited for thee; the desire of our soul is to thy name, and to the remembrance of thee.

Those who are raptured are judged. You have the wise and foolish virgins who either did or did not prepare. You also have those who are taken in the field and in the bed, while others are left behind. You have those who are feeding God’s people when the Lord returns and you have those who are burying their talent and feasting with the world.

Good discussion on Pentecost being the Feast of new wine and the best rapture scenario

A couple of points that I think are especially significant.

1. He mentions that the Spirit and the Bride saying "come" is very good and I like it especially because it is a New Testament point. Spirit is signified by the wine, the church is the wheat harvest, the loaf. The wheat and the wine say come -- that is at the feast of new wine.

When building a doctrine it should be built on the black and white word, like this verse you are referring to and then you can use symbology to color it in. But by now we should all realize you can see resurrection and rapture in all the symbols, this is why we need to begin with the black and white teaching.

2. Calendar change / change of dispensation to the church age

Jesus ascends on Shavuot according to the Jewish calendar, but then we hear about the feast of Pentecost (never mentioned in the OT) and referred to with a Greek name and with the Roman calendar counting 50 days instead of 7 complete sabbaths. On many levels it denotes a new dispensation with a new king on the throne.

3. Can't put new wine into old wine skins = church is the new wine skins and we see the church come into being on Pentecost, the feast of new wine. The Holy Spirit is likened to new wine and is poured out on the church hence the new wine skins. Once again indicating that Pentecost was the feast of new wine.

4. God is the same today, yesterday and forever. What feasts do the church keep? This is the rapture of the church, not of the Jews, so in the New Covenant what days do we keep? The Lord's table is the first day we are charged to keep, but this is not to the church, it is to unbelievers, the disciples were not yet saved when that command was given. So it is the Feast of Pentecost that the church has been charged to wait and watch for, by the Lord on His ascension when we are told that He would come back as we saw Him depart.

5. Matthew 26:29 But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.

Mark 14:25 Verily I say unto you, I will drink no more of the fruit of the vine, until that day that I drink it new in the kingdom of God.

One way to understand this is that He will not drink of the fruit of the vine till He drinks it with the church "New", as in New wine.

Luke 22:18 For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come.

Notice how Luke is different from Matthew and Mark. Luke says I'm not going to drink of the fruit again until the kingdom comes, that is future. But to say "that day that I drink it new" could be both future or past. There is a very strong case that can be made that the three synoptic gospels refer to the Jews being saved as a nation (Matthew), the tribulation saints being saved (Mark) and the pre-tribulation saints being saved (Luke). So for those in Luke it is all future tense, but for Mark and Matthew it can be future or past tense depending on whether or not that day has come yet.

6. Based on David being in Hebron for 7 1/2 years we would expect the 7 year tribulation to begin six months later, that would be January 25th, 2024 (183 days after July 26th). January 25th is the 75th anniversary of the 1st Knesset for the reformed Israel.

Question: we have a dress rehearsal for the rapture, the Lord's table, and that is the only day we have been charged to keep, the only appointed feast, and we were charged to not forsake the gathering together so much the more as we see the day approaching.

Why would days in the Old Covenant be controlling the church which has a New covenant? I get that the 9th of Av is 7/26 but we should reconcile the Lord's day and the Lord's table with this picture of the 9th of Av.

How many times are we told that the end of the age is called "the day of the Lord", it seems like God to play with that by having the Day of the Lord begin on the Lord's day.

The only thing I can think is that this is very similar to the crucifixion of the Lord. If the rapture takes place on July 26th those who are left behind are left hanging on the cross. There will be three days of darkness (kind of like the 3 hours of darkness when Jesus was crucified, only worse) but then on the Lord's day the left behind saints can begin anew just like the believers in the gospels discovering Jesus rose from the dead. They get thrust out into the wilderness to fast and pray like Jesus when He began His ministry in the gospels.

The day of the Lord comes like a thief in the night, prior to the Lord's crucifixion Judas, who was a thief came in the night to seize Him. Think about the saints who are left behind, the raptured saints are taken away from them at the rapture just like Jesus was taken from the disciples when He was arrested.

The Day of the Lord comes as a thief in the night

2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. 3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. 4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.

Pattern is prophesy. We can see from the gospels a picture of a four year time period representing the Lord's ministry from when He was baptized to when the Spirit was poured out on the church on the day of Pentecost.

This pattern is instructive, it helps us see what it means to follow the Lord and what it is to take up our cross and follow Him.

So then, can you see any story in the gospels that depicts "the day of the Lord coming as a thief in the night"? The only example I can see is Judas coming as a thief in the night when Jesus was arrested. We are told before this that Judas was a thief and stole what was given to the Lord and we know he was paid 30 pieces of silver to betray Jesus. We know he came in the night and we know that he betrayed Jesus with a kiss, like telling someone "peace and security" only to then throw them in prison and cut off their head. We also know that despite the Lord telling the disciples repeatedly what was about to happen most were in darkness when this happened.

So then, can you compare Jesus being arrested with the rapture? At the time of the rapture the believers who are filled with the Holy Spirit will be taken from all the other believers. At that point you will see what could be three days of darkness similar to what happened with the Israelites when they left Egypt. Like Jesus being crucified the apostate church will be attacked, and all believers will from that point on be attacked by Satan and the unbelievers.

Save yourself from this crooked generation

Acts 2:40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

You save yourself by confessing your sins, repenting of them, accepting Jesus as your savior, receiving His blood to cleanse you of your sins, declaring that Jesus is Lord by obeying His commands beginning with being baptized.

Acts 2:35 Until I make thy foes thy footstool.

Think of this picture, you come to the king, He is on the throne, and under his feet is the footstool, all the previous enemies are now beneath his feet.

Think of Tom Brady, suppose he made a footstool that looks like it is held up by 7 trophies for winning the Superbowl. You don't have to say a word, that footstool says it all.

My point is the Lord is collecting all the mockery, ridicule, insults and boasts like they are precious little pearls. It will all be stitched into this footstool.

But when you look at the news and you look at human history and you wonder "what is God waiting for?" This is it. All of the human governments throughout human history are at enmity with the rule of Jesus Christ. They must all be made into a footstool first.

What was the "cherry" on top in the Lord's earthly ministry? It was Judas betraying him for 30 pieces of silver, it was Pilate washing his hands of the whole thing, it was the Jews saying "His blood be upon us and our kids" it was Pilate writing "the King of the Jews " as the charge against Jesus.

We will see the same thing at the end of this age. I believe Judas, one of the twelve disciples, represents the apostate church and all these mega church pastors with their mansions, luxury cars and private airplanes. They have betrayed the Lord Jesus for 30 pieces of silver, they will be put to an open shame at the rapture and they will commit suicide and all their money will go to "the field of blood" during the tribulation.

Twenty two New Testament references to the rapture that correspond with the 9th of Av (part 1 -- introduction)

As we know Pentecost refers to a 50 day count, the number 5 is associated with grace and when you multiply it by 10 it is the completion of grace. The Lord was baptized on or around Pentecost and then four years later His ministry of grace was completed when the Holy Spirit was poured as the new wine into the church as the new wine skins. The church age began at that point.

We are told in the Bible that God is the same yesterday, today and forever. There are very few appointed feasts in the New Testament. We are told clearly by Paul that we are not required to keep the appointed feasts given in the Law. We are, however, charged to keep the Lord’s table. That is certainly an appointed feast of the New Testament. The only other feast that we are told about is Pentecost. Jesus as the bread and wine is our Passover feast, He is our unleavened feast, He is the feast of first fruits for us, we celebrate His ascension and so He is our Shavuot, the Lord’s table is where we trumpet the soon return of the king and also it is our day of atonement where we must examine ourselves. We look to the Lord’s coming so in that sense it is also our Feast of tabernacles. So all of those feasts are wrapped up in our celebration of the Lord’s table.

However, the feast of Pentecost is also unique to the New Testament, it is where the church was formed, and it is where the Holy Spirit was given to us as an earnest of the promise. When you make a covenant there must be a price paid, that was paid by the Lord on the cross, there must also be the rules given, the Lord told us at His ascension to do all that He commanded, and there must be an earnest of the promise, a downpayment. The Holy Spirit was given to us as the earnest of the promise, it is our downpayment.

From this point the groom, Jesus Christ, has two years to build us a place to live in His father’s house. The Lord told us He was going to to do this and then return for us. Therefore we consider that the two thousand years since this point would be those two years. So then we expect all of this to be fulfilled by 2030. However, anyone who has studied eschatology knows that the last seven years are complicated. There is evidence that some get taken prior to these seven years, some in the middle and some at the end. I have looked at these different doctrines on this blog. In my opinion there is a strong Biblical basis to say all three will take place and no legitimate basis (in my opinion) to rule out any of these. I think about one sixth of the living saints will be raptured prior to the tribulation, five sixths will either die or be raptured during the tribulation and then Israel will be saved as a nation at the end of the tribulation. I also think all of that will be done by the year 2030, though the Jews could be on a Hebrew calendar which would take them into 2031 to the end of March. This is simply Bible interpretation and any or all of us could be wrong. But it is important to have a framework from which to work.

Interestingly the three major chapters on the Lord’s return in the gospels all begin with the question when will these things be, referring to the temple being destroyed, and the destruction of the temple is the context from which the Lord tells us about the end of the age. He likens the destruction of the temple and the scattering of Israel to the beginning of the tribulation.

However, the prevailing eschatology that I am using has the tribulation starting with the rapture. So then from the viewpoint of everyone on earth the rapture of the saints will be the destruction of the church (it will be gone and whatever is left will be attacked and burnt with fire by Antichrist and his armies) and all the believers will be scattered. What is fascinating about this is that the destruction of the temple took place in 70AD on the 9th of Av. That event is part of the New Testament history and that date is the answer to “when will these things happen” that the disciples asked the Lord.

So then let’s learn a little about the 9th of Av. This is the date in Exodus when Moses came down from the mountain and broke the ten commandments because the children of Israel were involved in an orgy while worshipping Moloch. Pentecost takes place at the same time. When Moses broke the ten commandments 3,000 died and when Peter preached the gospel at Pentecost 3,000 were saved. They were having their orgy at the time of the feast of new wine and Pentecost is the feast of new wine. This is contrary to traditional teaching in Christianity.

In Christianity the traditional teaching is that Jesus ascended 40 days after He rose from the dead. This is based on a superficial reading of Acts which says that the Lord appeared to the disciples 40 days or 40 times after the resurrection. The problem is that John tells us the second time he appeared was 8 days after the first and the third time He appeared was when they went fishing. It is hard to believe that right after Jesus appears Peter says “I’m going fishing”. Therefore at the very least it should be 48-50 days after the resurrection. Shavuot depicts Moses, a type of Jesus, ascending the mountain just like ascension day. It is the day after seven complete sabbaths after the resurrection. Therefore it is about 52-53 days after the resurrection. Jesus conception, birth, baptism, death, burial, and resurrection were all on appointed feasts. Therefore many have questioned how the ascension was not also on an appointed feast. In addition, if the ascension was two or three days before Shavuot and Pentecost was on Shavuot (traditional Christian teaching) then it doesn’t make sense that Jesus tells them to tarry in Jerusalem. They all came to Jerusalem to celebrate Shavuot according to the law, of course they will tarry till then. However, if Jesus ascended on Shavuot it explains why they were all in Jerusalem and it explains why He said to tarry till the Spirit be poured out. They had to wait another 50 days, fasting and praying. Also, it was 50 days after Shavuot that Moses came down, broke the ten commandments and 3,000 were killed. Also, on the feast of Pentecost some mocked that they were drunk on new wine. Pentecost is the feast of new wine, it is 50 days after Shavuot. However, Peter said they couldn’t be drunk because it is only 9am. At 9am (the third hour) the priests have to pour out the new wine as the first fruits to God, only after that can everyone drink. Peter was saying they can’t be drunk because the Priests have just poured out the wine, no one has had a chance to get drunk yet.

Twenty two New Testament references to the rapture that correspond with the 9th of Av (part 2)

A second reference that ties in with this feast of new wine is Paul saying the church is the pillar and base of the truth. This is a reference to Samson pushing out the pillars and the temple to Baal collapses killing 3,000. The pushing out of the pillars by Samson is a reference to the rapture and it coincides with the collapse of the temple of Baal and the death of the idol worshippers. What is interesting about this reference is that we are told specifically that when the restrainer (Holy Spirit) is taken out of the way the evil one is fully revealed.

A third reference to the rapture is when the Lord said “it would be as the days of Noah”. On the 9th of Av Noah released both the dove and the raven. The dove represents the Holy Spirit and the raven represents the spirit of Satan going to and fro over the face of the earth. The dove is then drawn into the ark for seven more days referring to the raptured saints being kept in safety during the tribulation. This reference to the raven flying to and fro reminds us of Job and all the things that happened to him remind us of the tribulation. Again we see the rapture and the start of the tribulation coincide and occur at the same time.

Fourth, the New Testament term for rapture is “harpazo” which means to be snatched out of the way of certain destruction. When you read the book of acts the tribulation and persecution against the church starts shortly after Pentecost. The very first thing we learn is that they all shared and had everything in common. This sounds like what will happen during the tribulation when you cannot buy or sell without having the mark of the beast.

Fifth, the dead in Christ rise first. This also is a reference to the 9th of Av, so let me explain. On this day the ten spies gave an evil report and the two spies prior to them gave a good report. After 38 years on this date the dead rose up out of the graves. Every year after the curse a portion of the Jews in the wilderness died on this night. They would dig graves and lie in them and then in the morning the dead would still be in the graves. But 38 years later the curse was over and everyone rose up out of the graves, just like Paul saying “the dead in Christ rise first”.

Sixth, the apostasy comes first. Paul said that before the day of the Lord comes there will be a falling away from the faith. This word apostasy is only used twice, it can refer to a departure but the first time it is used it is an accusation against Paul that he has departed from Moses. This is what we see on the 9th of Av, God tells Moses to get down because they are sinning, they have departed from the covenant.

Seventh, in a moment the rapture takes place. This is the same term that God used when talking about destroying the worshippers of Moloch at Mount Sinai.

Eighth, the judgement on the Great Babylon, the whore that rides the beast, refers to the apostate church which has prostituted itself to Satan and the beast. This is mentioned in the book of Revelation in a number of places. The judgement on the temple of God always takes place on the 9th of Av.

Ninth, they will be marrying, and giving in marriage, eating and drinking. According to Jesus this will be taking place right up to the moment the flood comes and takes them all away. No Jewish person would get married on the 9th of Av, nor would there be eating and drinking. It is a fast day for all Jews. The Lord’s word indicates that the rapture is a dividing line between people getting married and having feasts and not getting married and having feasts. That sounds like sunset on the 8th of Av.

Tenth, according to the picture of the rapture in 1Corinthians 15 we are caught up into the clouds to be with Jesus. In the picture in Exodus Moses calls out to the Levites to “come up hither” to him. That is a picture of the rapture.

Eleventh, the day of the Lord comes as a thief in the night. Pattern is prophecy. Judas was a thief and he came as a thief in the night when he betrayed Jesus. When Jesus was arrested He was taken from the believers. In that sense the crucifixion was like a thief coming in the night for those who were sleeping and not watching. The 9th of Av this year is on a Wednesday. If Jesus rose early in the morning on the Lord’s day and was crucified on Wednesday, spend three days in the tomb (Thursday, Friday and Saturday) and then rose early on the Lord’s day you could compare that pattern to the rapture, followed by three days of darkness followed by believers hiding in an upper room beginning to talk about the rapture.

Twenty two New Testament references to the rapture that correspond with the 9th of Av (part 3)

Twelfth
, the date of the 9th of Av on our calendar is 7/26. Strong’s identifies the words of the New Testament by usage. The 726th word used in the New Testament is Harpazo, the word we use for rapture.

Thirteenth — Paul says we are not appointed to wrath. On the 9th of Av the Jews were supposed to get the wine cup of marriage, instead they got the cup of wrath. Moses ground up their idol, put it into the water and made everyone drink. Those that swelled up were killed.

Fourteenth — "I go to the Father and if I go I will come again that where I am you may be”, this matches Moses going up the mountain on Shavuot and then coming again and calling the Levites up to be with him.

Fifteenth — The Lord used the analogy of gathering the wheat to the barn for the rapture. Ruth, who was a type of the gentile bride is married to Boaz a type of Christ as the kinsman redeemer. The marriage happens at the time they are threshing the wheat. It says that she lay down with Boaz by the threshing floor and you don’t thresh barley, you only thresh wheat. Shavuot marks the first fruits of the wheat harvest followed by the general harvest for the next fifty days. The feast of new wine, Pentecost, is when the wheat harvest is concluding, they are threshing the wheat and bringing it to the barns.

Sixteen — Revelation 3:18 “and the shame of thy nakedness do not appear”. The Lord warns Laodicea, the apostate church, that if they didn’t repent the shame of their nakedness would appear. This reminds us of Exodus 32:25 And when Moses saw that the people were naked; (for Aaron had made the people naked unto their shame among their enemies), another reference to the 9th of Av.

Seventeen — Pentecost, the feast of new wine can also be tied to Song of Songs where it says we have been brought to His banqueting house. The word we translate as “banqueting” is translated as “wine” in the other 138 usages. This should be called the house of wine.

Eighteen — Jesus says He will not drink of the fruit of the vine again until He drinks it new with us when the kingdom comes. Pentecost is when we drink wine new with God.

Nineteen — Ephesians 2:21 says the church is growing unto a holy temple in the Lord. The 9th of Av is the day that the temple departs from the earth according to Matthew 24, Luke 21 and Mark 13.

Twenty — Luke 21:34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. This is another description of the 9th of Av. In Proverbs 7 the adulterous woman says the goodman doesn’t come home till the appointed time (the full moon). This sounds like the attitude of those worshipping Moloch. They may have thought Moses doesn’t come down till the full moon and the Bible seems to support that. God tells Moses to get up and hurry down because they are sinning. It seems Moses came down sooner than he was supposed to and caught the adulterous woman by surprise.

Many argue that the Lord said “no one knows the day or the hour” and although there is some debate as to what that was referring to it is obvious that the rapture is a surprise to some. However, the Lord also said John 15:15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. We are warned to watch so that we are not caught by surprise. It is biblical to say that those who are watching and waiting will not be caught by surprise but will be ready and expecting the Lord.

Twenty one1Peter 4:17
For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

These twenty previous points describe the rapture of the church to be the judgment of the apostate church and that this precedes the seven year tribulation on the nations. According to Matthew 24, Luke 21 and Mark 13 this judgment at the end of the age is similar to the destruction of the temple which took place on the 9th of Av in AD 70.

Twenty two2Thessalonians 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: God is going to send a strong delusion to those that hate the truth. John 14:29 And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe. However, the purpose is that those who listen to the Lord’s word and treasure His words will believe. The delusion is only for those who despise the word. Therefore it is perfectly reasonable that the Lord would tell us beforehand concerning the rapture so that those who are left behind would not be caught up in the great delusion but rather that they would believe.

If you have lemons, make lemonade

12 And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk? 13 The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go. 14 But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you; 15 And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses. 16 And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all. 17 And now, brethren, I wot that through ignorance ye did it, as did also your rulers. 18 But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled. 19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.

Peter shares a message about denying the Lord Jesus and how if you will repent you can be healed and times of refreshing shall come. The perfect message for those who are left behind.
