So the dead which he slew at his death were more than they which he slew in his life.

Judges 16:25 And it came to pass, when their hearts were merry, that they said, Call for Samson, that he may make us sport. And they called for Samson out of the prison house; and he made them sport: and they set him between the pillars. 26 And Samson said unto the lad that held him by the hand, Suffer me that I may feel the pillars whereupon the house standeth, that I may lean upon them. 27 Now the house was full of men and women; and all the lords of the Philistines were there; and there were upon the roof about three thousand men and women, that beheld while Samson made sport. 28 And Samson called unto the Lord, and said, O Lord God, remember me, I pray thee, and strengthen me, I pray thee, only this once, O God, that I may be at once avenged of the Philistines for my two eyes. 29 And Samson took hold of the two middle pillars upon which the house stood, and on which it was borne up, of the one with his right hand, and of the other with his left. 30 And Samson said, Let me die with the Philistines. And he bowed himself with all his might; and the house fell upon the lords, and upon all the people that were therein. So the dead which he slew at his death were more than they which he slew in his life.

Will this be our experience? This blog is approaching 100,000 views, but what happens after the rapture? The church is the pillar and base of the truth. What happens when these pillars are removed and the world's evil system collapses? Will we then see more people turning to the Lord? I think that is what we see here in a shadow.

Repay her for her deeds

Jeremiah 50:25 The Lord has opened his arsenal
and brought out the weapons of his wrath,
for the Sovereign Lord Almighty has work to do
in the land of the Babylonians.
26 Come against her from afar.
Break open her granaries;
pile her up like heaps of grain.
Completely destroy her
and leave her no remnant.
27 Kill all her young bulls;
let them go down to the slaughter!
Woe to them! For their day has come,
the time for them to be punished.
28 Listen to the fugitives and refugees from Babylon
declaring in Zion
how the Lord our God has taken vengeance,
vengeance for his temple.

Don't know what this is talking about. Is He talking about a meteor shower? Don't know, but piling her up like heaps of grain sounds like the pictures we saw from WWII at the Holocaust with dead bodies all piled one on top of another. Regardless of what it is, it is "the time to be punished". The other thing that is clear is that those who survive, the fugitives and refugees will say that the Lord our God has taken vengeance. This will not be anything that man will take credit for.

29 “Summon archers against Babylon,
all those who draw the bow.
Encamp all around her;
let no one escape.
Repay her for her deeds;
do to her as she has done.
For she has defied the Lord,
the Holy One of Israel.

This to me sounds like all those who have been abused by Babylon then come and camp against her. Interesting "all those who draw the bow", that sounds like missiles. But all that is secondary, we are repayed for our deeds. We need to confess our sins, repent of them and receive the Lord's cleansing blood. All of this punishment is because "she has defied the Lord, the Holy One of Israel". Repent and believe in the Lord's redemptive work on the cross.

Major Breakthrough! The Lord's coming is immediately after this wedding.

Luke 12:35 Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning; 36 And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately. 37 Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them. 38 And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants. 39 And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through. 40 Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.

This is a big reveal. What wedding is this? It isn't the Lord's. The Lord is not going to gird Himself and serve his servants when He gets back from His wedding. Also the Lord's wedding would be at His Father's house. This is someone else's wedding and it takes place immediately before the thief comes in verse 39 and 40. We don't know the day or the hour of the Lord's coming but we do know it comes immediately after this wedding.

This wedding is not taking place in the Father's house and it is not something that the faithful servants of the Lord who are watching for the Lord's appearing are involved in. There is a union between two others that the Lord attends and that is the sign that immediately precedes the hour that the thief comes. In fact if you read verse 39 it is not unreasonable to equate the thief breaking into the house with this wedding. At the very least it appears the two happen at the same time.

So then I must conclude that this wedding must be Satan's attempt to usurp man has finally resulted in his union with man. Satan is the thief and man is the temple of God. The thief breaking into the house is a description of Satan breaking into this temple, into man. We have heard that man's genetic makeup has the image and superscription of God on it. You can see the name of God on man's DNA. We are also led to understand that when God said that Noah was perfect it indicated his DNA had not been infected with the fallen angels mating with the daughters of men. The earth was filled with this impure mixture called Nephelim which the flood was sent to wipe out.

Therefore, just as the days of Noah, I suspect this wedding refers to this unholy union between Satan and Man.

The picture is this, Satan is celebrating his union with man, injecting his DNA into man and corrupting man. The servants of the Lord who are watching for His return are guarding the house. Their loins are girded for battle, their lights are lit in this dark night and the house is locked tight which is why they are ready the minute the Lord comes to open up and let him in. In another place we are told that the evil servants of the Lord's house attack these ones who are watching and they went to this wedding to eat and drink with the drunken.

If you want to be part of this one world economic and physical union with Satan you would be at this wedding drinking their koolaid. This is where the adulterers, the fornicators, the LGBTQ+, the sorcerers, and all the brainwashed cult members are. This is where we also would have been had we not been rescued out of this evil age and saved into the kingdom of light.

This wedding is that despicable orgy that Moses came to on Tammuz 17 when he ground their idol to powder and made them drink the bitter water. Moses is a type of Jesus and that is where Jesus is right now. Right now He is grinding to powder their idols and making them drink the bitter water. This will reveal who is guilty of adultery and who isn't. When Moses called who is on the Lord's side the Levites answered immediately. Those are the faithful servants who are girded and have their lights lit and are watching for the Lord ready to open to Him immediately when He calls.

Luke 2:36-38 Someone we have all met

36 And there was also a prophetess, Anna, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher. She was very old, having lived with her husband seven years from her maidenhood, 37 And as a widow even for eighty-four years. She did not go out from the temple enclosure, but was worshiping night and day with fasting and prayer. 38 And she too came up at that same hour, and she returned thanks to God and talked of [Jesus] to all who were looking for the redemption (deliverance) of Jerusalem.

Here is the second witness. Have you ever met an elderly sister that "talked to all who were looking for the redemption of Jerusalem". It seems to me that wherever I have gone, in whatever church gathering I was in I was always able to find this sister. I hope you didn't take her for granted, Mary never forgot her testimony and God didn't either.

There are other correlations.

1. 1/3 of the Jews on Earth died during the Holocaust and according to Revelation 1/3 of those on the Earth die during the great tribulation.

As you have done it will be done unto you.

2. On the 9th of AV Nebuchadnezzar takes the Israelites to Babylon. On the 9th of AV, 2520 years later WWI starts resulting in 20 million deaths.

3. On the 9th of AV Nebuchadnezzar takes Jerusalem and then 2520 years later Hitler is appointed Chancellor.

4. From God declaring judgement in Nebuchadnezzar was 2520 years to the Nuremberg trials.

I was reading about Gideon, He had 32,000 men and God had him send 22,000 home, and then he had 10,000 and God had him send 9,700 home.

You can be sure that when he had 32,000 the Midianites saw this. If I was the general and was told that 22,000 had "gone home" I would have told my spies they are idiots, that is two thirds of his army, they are obviously going to come from other places, try to surround us. Then when I was told that 9,700 had also peeled off I would again tell them they are idiots, Gideon has divided his army into three groups of 10,000 that is what we need to focus on, forget the 300, that is simply a distraction.

But where are these soldiers? They are ghosts! Ninjas! My entire army would be on edge, where are these 32,000 soldiers hiding?

Synagogue of Satan

Historically the Edomites are the ones who say they are Jews and are not, hence their worship would be "the synagogue of Satan" the everlasting enemy of God's people.

There are 7 churches that the Lord writes letters to in the book of Revelation. Of the seven two do not have any negative concerns, the other five all have negative concerns and two of those have no positive commendation.

Now of the two with nothing negative (Smyrna and Philadelphia) they both have reference to the synagogue of Satan.

It is as though the synagogue of Satan infiltrates the other 5 churches and so it is hard to distinguish, but in these two there is a clear distinction between the real church and the phony one.

Blessed are the poor in spirit

Matthew 5:3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Isn't this strange? The prosperity gospel teaches you that gold chains, luxury cars and mansions are evidence that you are blessed. But Jesus taught that the kingdom of heaven belongs to those who are "poor in spirit".

So what does that mean? If you are poor you lack. Generally if you don't have enough food or clothes or housing we would say you are poor. But the Lord is not saying "Blessed are the poor", no He is quite specific, "Poor in spirit". So in your spirit you "lack".

So that is hard to understand because Christians want to be powerful in spirit, they want to be filled with spiritual gifts, but the Lord says the blessing is having an empty spirit, or when you are "poor in spirit".

So then what is the opposite of this, perhaps that will make it easier to understand. Laodicea said they were rich and lacked nothing. Revelation 3:17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

Their attitude was that they were rich and needed nothing, the reality was they were wretched, miserable, poor and blind and naked. So the opposite of this would be to have an attitude that you are poor and in need of the Lord's grace and mercy, while the reality is that you are blessed, and receiving all that the kingdom of the heavens has.

But it is more than that, how do you come each day seeking grace and mercy, each day you receive grace and mercy and yet the next day your attitude is that you are poor and in need of grace and mercy? You have to be like a river, not the dead sea. We are not receptacles that store up and keep God's grace locked up in a big vault. If you are a river so that whatever you receive from the heavens today you pass on, then the next day you will again need to receive the grace and mercy. You have to be a conduit.

Jesus said that "out of our innermost beings will flow rivers of living water". That is what it means to be poor in Spirit and the blessing on this is that yours is the kingdom of the heavens. That is a wonderful picture, the heavens are where the clouds are, they rain on the earth. It is living water of life. It may have rained yesterday but today the heavens are poor and need a fresh filling. But they don't store up the water, it goes into the clouds and then will return to the earth as rain again. The heavens are a picture of what it is to be poor in spirit, they never store up anything. Whenever they are filled with water it will flow out of them, rivers of living water.

Laodicea is the dead sea. The problem with Laodicea is not the inflow, it is the outflow. Why is that? Because the dead sea is at the lowest spot on earth, there is no place for the water to flow to. What is Laodicea, they are the apostate church. They are the church of the laity. The common man has decided that Jesus word is too high for anyone to attain to, so they have sought the lowest possible level to appeal to all. You cannot have a dead sea on the mountain, Laodicea is the church that has sunk to the lowest possible level.

Blessed are they that mourn

Matthew 5:4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

Why are they mourning? Is it that our land is sinful and corrupt? Our leaders are crooks who lie to us and rob us blind? The world lies in the evil one and he uses war to bankrupt his enemies and enrich himself while increasing his power? Do you mourn because 2008 revealed how our government devours widows houses and for a pretense makes long prayers? Did you mourn over 911 that the most sophisticated and effective forensic teams in the world were not allowed to do a proper investigation? That the evidence of what took place was destroyed, guarded by the military and then sent to China to be destroyed? Did you mourn because 911 was clearly an inside job and yet it was blamed on an event that was clearly and undeniably not the cause?

Or do you mourn because so many people are deceived, brainwashed, and carried about by this current of this age? Do you mourn because their hearts are on evil continually? Do you mourn for how sinful and fleshly the world had become?

The Lord said that there would be evil servants in His house who ridicule and abuse the good servants because they are mourning. These evil servants will eat and drink with the drunkards. Once the bridegroom was taken from us we should be mourning. We should mourn for sin, for the world, for all these unbelievers who have not repented of sin.

But not all will be mourning. The crucifixion of Jesus was a cause for celebration among the worldly elites who have sold themselves to do evil. Jesus said that at the time of the rapture it would be like the days of Noah where Noah enters the ark and then the flood comes down and destroys all those who are not on the ark. They would be eating and drinking, not fasting and praying, and they would be marrying and giving in marriage, not mourning.

But all that changes in the twinkling of an eye. Those who were mourning are comforted and those who were celebrating are now mourning.

Blessed are the meek

Matthew 5:5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

These protests that turn into riots and looting, that is not the meek. These mobs that want to intimidate Supreme Court justices, that is not the meek.

If you live by the sword you die by the sword.

These wars are fought by the elite for control, for power. Leaders of countries are like Cartel members fighting it out for territory and power. As a rule cartel members are not interested in shooting and killing "citizens". They don't want to kill the worker bees, they just want your tax dollars going into their pockets. We do not need to get involved in gang wars, cartel wars, rioting, looting, or mob violence.

This does not mean we are spineless cowards justifying our cowardice. Stand up for what is right, stand up for justice, defend the powerless, be a shepherd of the sheep. There is a fine line you need to walk. I recently heard Bill Maher say that it isn't a teachers job to be carrying a gun, they don't want to do it and it is a bad idea.

I am a teacher and I can agree that prior to Sandy Hook we did not see this as our job, and I personally did not want to carry a gun. However, teachers are shepherds of the sheep. It used to be the worst predators were small dogs and you could handle that with a staff. But now we have a pack of wolves preying on the sheep. If I am a shepherd of the sheep in an area with wolves, then I want an AR15. I don't want even odds. I also know that there are many teachers, maybe not a majority, but a significant minority for sure, that do want to carry guns. In Indiana a week ago it became very clear what it means to be "meek" in this new situation. A man with a rifle began shooting and killing people in a mall. Another man was carrying a gun, he pushed his girlfriend to safety and then shot and killed the shooter, all in 15 seconds. The shooter was able to shoot and kill two people in that time. Imagine how many he would have killed if you had to wait five minutes or more for the police.

Definition of meek -- gentle and submissive.

Definition of spineless -- lacking resolution, weak, having no purpose.

Can we see the difference? I would imagine that gentle and submissive could accurately describe an elementary school teacher. However, I would hope that spineless does not describe them. We are submissive to the Lord and His word. He was the good shepherd, He laid down His life for the sheep. If you are a school teacher you should have the same attitude. Half of the reason they oppose teachers carrying guns is that "it isn't their job". I disagree, our job is to lay our life down for the sheep. The other half of the reason is that teachers aren't trained to do this job. I would argue that if teachers are submissive they can be trained to do this job.

Right now the schools and teachers union is under fire for many of their policies that seem to be lifted straight from Sodom and Gomorrah. Those teachers, those schools and those unions will be utterly burned with fire. So then who will inherit the school system? Teachers who are meek, those who are gentle and submissive. They are open to listening to parents voice their concerns, they will understand that they work for the parents and will submit to them, and they understand that part of the job is to keep the little lambs safe from predators, even from wolves with guns.

Revelation 5:13-14 Jesus, head over all to the church

13 And every created thing which is in the heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and on the sea, and all things that are in them, heard I saying, Unto him that sitteth on the throne, and unto the Lamb, be the blessing, and the honor, and the glory, and the dominion, for ever and ever. 14 And the four living creatures said, Amen. And the elders fell down and worshipped.

Giving Jesus the book was equated to giving Him blessing, honor, glory and dominion. Not only does the book have seven seals but the blessings of the covenant God made with man have seven categories of blessing. I believe that if we look at these seven seals in the next few chapters we will be able to understand many mysteries. We can understand the mystery of God, the great mystery of Christ and the church, and also answer the questions that have plagued us throughout human history “why?” Why war? Why famine? Why plague? Why martyrs?

Believers will know the Lord as the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. They know that His sacrifice on the cross redeemed them, it paid the price for their sins, and the Lord’s blood washes them and makes them white as snow. But, it is Jesus' victory over sin and death that made Him worthy to open the book. The world thinks that His death was weakness and it was foolishness. If that is true then it was the weakness of God and the foolishness of God, and the weakness of God is stronger than men, the foolishness of God is wiser than men.

So then, what do we learn about this book that Jesus was given when He ascended to the throne?

  1. He received it when He ascended. So until that time the seven seals were sealed.
  2. The seven seals indicate that it is a legal document bequeathing something to Him from God. Psalm 2 would indicate that at least one of the things given to Him was the nations.
  3. The book is comprehensive, there is no room for additions, just like John says at the end of the Book of Revelation which is also the conclusion to the New Testament.
  4. It is also illegal to take anything out of this document since it is a legal document.
  5. Many, many people have tried to open this book but none were worthy. The first and most important criteria to opening this book is that God would determine that you are worthy.
  6. John also felt powerless to open this book and weeped for the implications that had for humanity. This book answers questions that are essential for the survival of man. This is not simply inferred from John weeping but even more from the seals that are subsequently opened. We will look at those in the next chapter.
  7. In order to open the book Jesus had to overcome. He is the Lion of the tribe of Judah and the root of David’s wisdom and power. Jesus had to defeat sin and death in order to open this book.
  8. All of mankind is referred to as the first Adam. According to the Bible the first Adam became a living soul. All of our civilization is an expression of this living soul. Song, dance, religion, history, science, and all the books in the library are an expression of man who became a living soul. The last Adam, Jesus, became a life giving Spirit. This is the key difference between Jesus and all those who came before Him. This could be the key criteria that makes Him worthy and all those prior sages not worthy to open this book.
  9. The Lion is the lamb that was sacrificed on the cross to redeem us and save us from our sins. His power and wisdom is of God (seven indicating God + Creature). The wisdom of the world is foolishness with God. The world considers the cross of Christ to be the weakness of God and the foolishness of God. So then, the weakness of God is stronger than man, and the foolishness of God is wiser than man.
  10. The Lord has sent His rhema word throughout all the Earth, this is how He has carried out His ministry and built up His church.
  11. Jesus “takes the book” from God, similar to His word “the violent take the kingdom by force”. The crucifixion of Jesus was extremely violent. Sin, Satan, the world, and the flesh were all crucified.
  12. He has redeemed men from every nation and built them up to be a kingdom of priests to our God. And these people reign with Him on the earth. This is also what makes Him worthy to open this book.
  13. The Lord has seven eyes, just as there are seven golden lampstands. One reason that He is able to open these seals is that there are people in every tribe and nation that are walking according to the Lord's leading and who witness the things necessary to open up these seals.
  14. The Lord has seven horns. Horns indicate power and judgment. Again, there are seven lampstands, there are people of every tribe and nation that are walking according to the Lord's leading and are in a position to exercise power and judgement over the ruler of this age. This is another reason why He is able to open these seals.
  15. These seals began to be opened immediately after the Lord ascended to the throne.
We will continue to learn more about this book from the seven seals, but based on these 15 points it appears that this book is the blueprint of the kingdom of the heavens on earth.

They shall be filled

Matthew 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

My dad used to make a great steak. Whenever he cooked, it wasn't that often, he would make sure everything was perfect. He would marinate this steak the night before. He would go to the farmer's market and pick up fresh corn that would go into the pot the minute they got back with the corn. The baked potato always was crispy on the skin but just right inside. When my dad was going to be making dinner I would really "hunger and thirst" for that meal. I was ready, I was looking forward for hours, and I came with the big appetite.

I feel like it is the same today. I want righteousness. I want the real crooks responsible for the January 6th event to be caught and roasted. Our society is overrun with crooks, liars, thieves and murderers. I read the prophecies, I read the promises, I have heard that this Pandemic signals that the day of the Lord is at hand. I have been told that the judgement on these ones is like God preparing the wedding feast for His Son. This verse promises that God is preparing this meal and it is going to be great, you will be filled.

I hear many people saying "how long O Lord". That was how I felt prior to my Dad's dinner. The kitchen is crazy right now, lots of pans on lots of fires. Durham in one dish, Bannon in another, Mike Lindell in a third, etc. We have investigations into election fraud, crooked Hillary, Epstein island, and the list goes on and on. But it all has to be timed just right so that everything is ready at the right time for this big meal.

Thank you Lord for your promise that we shall be filled!

Matthew 24:4-8 birth pains

Matthew 24:4 Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. 6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of birth pains.

There is a wonderful correlation between the "birth pains" described by Jesus and the four horses of the apocalypse. See that no one deceives you, that would be the white horse. It is easy to use this to justify the "antichrist" theory of the white horse, but without the gospel how do you keep from being deceived? Wars and rumors of wars would be the red horse. Famines would be the black horse, and earthquakes are often associated with plagues like dysentery. But the Lord describes them as "birth pains". Birth pains become more and more frequent and if you look at human history this is what you see. There were great wars every 150 or 250 years at the beginning of this age, but now we have had two world wars, the Korean war, the Vietnam war, two Gulf wars, and a war in Afghanistan all in the space of a hundred years. And now we see another war started by Russia in Ukraine. We have had a couple of very big pandemics throughout the last two thousand years, but in just the last 100 years we have had the Spanish Flu, AIDS, Sars, Swine Flu, Covid19, the Delta variant, and now Monkey Pox. The birth pains are getting closer and closer together.

Birth pains are associated with giving birth and the birth will be to the man child who is to rule the nations. These four horses reveal that the worldly system is corrupt. The rulers are liars who manipulate the people into going and fighting wars for them. They are incompetent causing famines and having unclean living conditions that lead to epidemics.

We are learning this because of the seven eyes of the Lord and we are dealing with these liars and murderers because of the seven horns of the Lord.

For example we now know that Fauci was involved in financing the gain of function research at the Wuhan lab which created Covid19, that he then lied and manipulated the entire world to reject the lab leak theory until it could no longer be denied, he lied about treatments that would have made the pandemic less severe and easier to treat, he pushed for a complete shutdown which was contrary to the scientific consensus on the best way to deal with a pandemic. We also know that he is a Free Mason and that they think the solution to the world's ills is to reduce population from 7.5 billion to 500 million. They think that pandemics and wars and abortion are three ways to move towards that goal, but the best and most effective way would be to sterilize billions of people under the guise of a life saving vaccine.

We now see that the Democrats are pushing to nationalize the police. Think about that the same people who pushed to defund the police and in whose cities you have the worst crime want to be the ones who run the police for the entire country.

We have also learned that the leaders are pushing their agenda under the guise of "climate change". It is hard to deny the horrific forest fires in California, the only problem is that 80% of California's water goes to agriculture which is growing extremely water intensive crops. Surely this has played a major role in the "drought" and ironically as the forests burn big agriculture stands to gain more land that they can use for farms.

But we see Jesus

Obviously Jesus is the stone that the builders rejected and He is the chief cornerstone, the capstone.

However, Philadelphia, the church that is raptured is composed of those who were forced to go out previously because they are given the promise that they will not have to go out again. This indicates that like Antipas they were rejected. No doubt Jezebel and Balaam rejected them. Hebrews says that we should go outside the camp to where Jesus is. Galatians says that "I have been crucified with Christ and it is no longer I that live but Christ that lives in me". This raptured church is one with Christ, one with Him in His crucifixion, one with Him in going outside the camp, one with Him in being rejected by this evil and adulterous age. So then let's look at this parable as being prophetic concerning the rapture of the church.

9 Then began he to speak to the people this parable; A certain man planted a vineyard, and let it forth to husbandmen, and went into a far country for a long time. 10 And at the season he sent a servant to the husbandmen, that they should give him of the fruit of the vineyard: but the husbandmen beat him, and sent him away empty. 11 And again he sent another servant: and they beat him also, and entreated him shamefully, and sent him away empty. 12 And again he sent a third: and they wounded him also, and cast him out. 13 Then said the lord of the vineyard, What shall I do? I will send my beloved son: it may be they will reverence him when they see him. 14 But when the husbandmen saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, This is the heir: come, let us kill him, that the inheritance may be ours. 15 So they cast him out of the vineyard, and killed him. What therefore shall the lord of the vineyard do unto them? 16 He shall come and destroy these husbandmen, and shall give the vineyard to others. And when they heard it, they said, God forbid.

Do you see this! What is the rapture, it is God giving the vineyard to "others". It is also, at the same time, God destroying the wicked husbandmen.

17 And he beheld them, and said, What is this then that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner?
18 Whosoever shall fall upon that stone shall be broken; but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

There are two sides to this event. You have those who fell upon the stone, they were broken, wrecked for the Lord. These ones are raptured, they are the stones that the builders of this evil age rejected. However, Jesus chose them. But at the same time He reveals who He has chosen He also falls on those evil builders and grinds them to powder.

So instead of asking when the rapture is, why not ask when do we see this dichotomy and when do we see false prophets ground to powder and what would be the single best day to send that message to God's people who are left behind? We do see this on the 9th of AV with Joshua and Caleb. Today we all think of Caleb as this very strong man who said he was as strong at 80 as he was at 40 and he asked for a stronghold of the Philistines as his inheritance because he wanted to take it. But all of that was after this event when he was spying out the good land. I don't think the other ten spies viewed Caleb with that kind of respect, he wasn't a Jew. With Joshua there was probably some jealousy and with Caleb there might have been some disrespect. What is very clear is that those ten spies thought their opinion was very important. They had a very high opinion of themselves. They were not sent into the good land to spy it out to see if Israel could defeat the inhabitants. The very idea that they would say they couldn't was a complete insult and slap in the face to God who had done all this to bring them to this point to give them this land. They were not the general, they were spies sent by God, who was the general, the one leading them in this campaign.

When I read the account I get the impression that Joshua and Caleb are surprised and shocked by this turn. At first they are describing how wonderful the land is that God has brought them to, which was their job. Then all of a sudden they are saying we can't take this land, that was not the job. Conquering the land, that was God's job, witnessing what you saw, that was their job. Joshua and Caleb, they did their job, they were faithful servants. But these ten were like the evil husbandmen who beat the Lord's servants, or like the builders that rejected Jesus, the capstone.

One thing I have noticed about championship games in all sports, both teams are really good. I remember when Michael Jordan was playing each team they played in the Championship was really good. Magic Johnson and the LA Lakers, it is OK to talk about how good they were. They played Utah twice with Stockton and Malone, it is OK to talk about how good they were. They played Portland when they had Clyde Drexler who at the time was considered one of the elite players of the day. They played the Suns when they had Charles Barkley, MVP caliber player. In every case it would be OK to look at the opposing team and say how great they were. Yet, take a look at your team, you have Michael Jordan, you have Scottie Pippen, maybe you had Dennis Rodman, etc. Winning the championship is glorious because you defeat a worthy opponent. This is what the spies should have been focused on. Yes, we are going against giants, and yes if it was just us we would not have a chance, but we have Jesus on our team. We have the king of kings and Lord of Lords. We have the lion of the tribe of Judah.

So then, what day on the Jewish calendar would be the best day to let those left behind know that God was displeased with them, that they had insulted Him, and that these ones whom He has raptured, they alone were the ones that could say "But we see Jesus".
