I probably won't convince you in this thread, so I will leave with this.

1. Both males and females contribute to the conception of children. So how Jesus was conceived certainly aligns with the description "seed of the woman", as no man was involved.
2. Women conceive via means of a husband (man). The scripture is clear that in Mary's case, there was no man involved - she conceived by the Holy Spirit.

That Jesus was fully man and fully God is doctrinally necessary. A kinsman redeemer had to be a relative of the one for whom he was redeeming. Jesus redeemed us - He needed to be our relative - the second Adam, in order to die in our place. And who can forgive sins but God alone? Jesus forgave sins and accepted worship, in addition to many miracles and rising from the dead.

Fully man and fully God. This is the miracle and the mystery of the Incarnation.
I do appreciate the things you have shared. And largely I agree. Thanks for taking the time to share.

Jesus vs Santa

You better watch out, you better not cry,
Better not pout, I'm telling you why:
Santa Claus is coming to town

He's making a list, and checking it twice;
Gonna find out who's naughty and nice:
Santa Claus is coming to town.

He sees you when you're sleeping,
He knows when you're awake,
He knows if you've been bad or good,
So be good for goodness sake!

There's no grace in that song— none at all —no generosity, no altruism, no
kindness, no charity, no love, no peace, no understanding, no sympathy, no
patience, no tolerance, no courtesy, no compassion, no forgiveness, i.e.
there are no gifts in Santa's bag; only merit awards for those who prove
themselves worthy enough to deserve them, viz: were it left up to Santa,
relatively few children would escape the wrath of God.

It is the AntiChrist anthem and you better believe they are doing everything in their power so that it would be true that they do see you when you are sleeping, know when you're awake and know if you've been bad or good.
