That is true in nature but NOT in the spiritual realm. Check your Bible.
I'm talking about wolves in the literal sense. And I don't think the Bible mentions wolves in a literal sense, rather, it talks about certain people as perhaps having the characteristics of wolves, i.e. the figurative sense.

And wolves per se, the real ones, are generally afraid of man.

I admit I missed the OP talking about wolves in a figurative sense, but it was so short, that I didn't see it as a serious post. I was therefore flippant in my response.

It ok since we dont have real wolves in my country its harder for me to visualise what a wolf actually does. We have dogs though and they can be vicious at times. Some can bite and bark and they do sometimes maim and kill people. They are a threat to many animals especially flightless birds we have here.

We have sheep dogs and they are used instead of shepherds to round up sheep. The sheep run away from them. If shepherds were truly looking after their sheep the sheep will follow the shepherd but many farmers are lazy not true shepherds and use barking dogs to do the job.

Correct. And this thread about those metaphorical wolves, who appear to be sheep but are not. It would be like a real wolf taking a sheep's skin and head and putting it over himself, then walking around among the sheep. Or like the story of Little Red Riding Hood.

'Oh! grandmother,' she said, 'what big ears you have!'
'All the better to hear you with, my child,' was the reply.
'But, grandmother, what big eyes you have!' she said.
'All the better to see you with, my dear.'
'But, grandmother, what large hands you have!'
'All the better to hug you with.'
'Oh! but, grandmother, what a terrible big mouth you have!'
'All the better to eat you with!'
And scarcely had the wolf said this, than with one bound he was out of bed and swallowed up Red Riding Hood.

This article is just one of many...even family dogs can kill sheep. Its just their nature. People think that dogs are benign but actually they are predators. If they arent fed meat they will go out and kill.
This reminds me of a call I had from my daughter's boyfriend's family to bring something over to kill wounded suffering sheep of theirs that were attacked by a pack of wild dogs. They didn't have any kind of gun. I decided to take a Lee Enfield .303 I had ammo for. We should always have a gun to put down a suffering animal. While living in Yellville, AR I had to shoot two of my big dogs that jumped the fence and were hit by cars before I could catch them (not at the same time).

Would it look like a bichon frise. Looks like a cute dog, wooly like a sheep, but actually can be just as vicious as any dog thats hungry.

If you attend a new church frequently, the wolves will investigate who you are.If you appeal to them from maybe a position of power,or where they feel they can benefit. They will reveal themselves to you. There might be a room or hallway just before the service room.A deacon or pastor, somebody trusted will stand along side a door.It could even be a hidden door.Wolves like them will stand around that area as if they are awaiting service, while blind sheep walk right by.When the coast is clear, the one standing by the door will open it,and it will lead underground. That's where most of the wolves will be.
Look around the church for freemason symbols. That's a good sign for a wolf den.On my father side, there are 3 generations of satanists who attend a church like this.In the town nearby where I live around 30k plus. All the churches are like this.

you know, my grandfather was a mason. I am really getting sick of this " all mason's are satanic " load of garbage.

any group or organization is going to have some bad people, probably some luciferians , at the top.

but to just label every person who happens to belong to a mason lodge, or a church who happens to have a number of mason's attend as a Satanist, is just silly, paranoid, and plain wrong.

* I am not a freemason, never set foot in a lodge.

I am just sick of this stupid conspiracy theory.

If it walks like a Mason, talks like a Mason and quacks like a Mason - it's a Mason. Your naïvety is cute, but don't let it cloud your better judgement. :)

Masons..how can you tell there are masons in the church. Would they be stakeholders in the church buildings or something. Some people might go to church cos they invest in it and want to check out how their property is doing. Then sell it after a few years for profit.

In that sense they treat it just the same as a business. Some churches actually do close down and get sold off. Ive heard of that happening.

we cannot serve 'two' masters - just because one can be deceived and duped/spelled does not
negate the one you serve - an ignorant sheep does not negate the fact of the 'shepherd' that
leads them into darkness - it goes back to the 'garden of eden', the TREE was so pleasant to
look at, so appealing to think you had a 'better knowledge than GOD'...
it has affected us both personally in our families, but we thank our Saviour, that He
has enlightened us to His Truth...

Interrsting thing is, some people who are wolves think deceiving people is a good thing, like keeping people deliberately in the dark, withholding information, omitting the truth and not so anyone can seek it out but so they will be blinded. Its like the old bait and switch.

These people wont say they outright lie, but just say they didnt say the truth cos they claim they dont want to hurt people.

I would rather people be absolutely honest about why they go to church.

They should just say 'im here because I got told to come here" or 'im here because its my property investment' or im here cos 'I want to sponge of others and have free coffee' or ,im here to check out the ladies or im here to promote my book. Or im just here for the food.

Nobodys going to throw stones at you if you are honest about your intentions. Oh but people think its better to lie.

If the fruits of the holy spirit are love, peace, joy etc what would the fruits of an unholy spirit be.

Lust, money, power?
If you read earlier in Galatians 5, you'll see the other fruit-before the fruit of the Spirit.

Is that the works of the flesh.

Verse 15 talks about biting and devouring one another. Sheep dont bite each other, they too busy eating grass. But wolves (and dogs) will bite sheep.

Kind of weird Ive noticed some people on cc have avatars with wolves on them. Are they just being ironic or really here to devour the sheep.

I'm a big fan of wolves. Unlike humans, they stick with their mates until death do them part. They only kill what they need to eat. They are smarter than dogs, including bichon frises and they have the brains to prove it. They also are big contributors to the well-being of our ecological structure. And they are good-looking as you can see above.

I think Masons wear those skull rings. They look like normal rings, but have a skull on them. I don't know if all Masons wear these, but I've seen a few who do. I also read somewhere that when a Mason punches someone whilst wearing his skull-ring, the skull emblem gets emblazoned on the jaw of the one whom they punch, so people forever can see that one was punched by a Mason. :)
