146 there is no such thing as replacement theology!

God NEVER chose the flesh descendants of Abraham, Isaac or Jacob. "For they are NOT ALL Israel that are of Israel". You guys dump every verse about Israel into the God hating, stiff necked rebeluous Jews that rejected and killed Christ. Why can't you get that through your head?

David was God's Israel, so was Samuel and all the rest of the Old Testament saints. The wicked unrepentetant Jews ARE NOT God's Israel, they are FLESH DESCNEDANTS of Israel... blood relatives. God's Israel are the SPIRITUAL descendants of Israel.

This is not hard to understand!
The twelve tribes of Israel are all the descendants from those tribes, not some spiritual descendants, but physical. God has promised physical blessings here on earth to the twelve tribes of Israel. Romans 9 does not negate this. The body of Christ have spiritual blessings in the heavenly places.

Jesus’ response is future. Why didn’t Jesus tell them, hey guys, the kingdom of Israel has already been restored?

The kingdom of Israel is physical, with an earthly physical throne, the throne of David, and the rightful King upon that throne.
Yeah it was future, it was talking about his future resurrection. And that did happen BEFORE the disciples went to all the cities of Israel.

Why doesn't he tell them? he did tell them but they didn't understand. You have to listen to what Jesus says and BELIEVE it in order to understand it.

What? Acts 1 is after the Lord’s resurrection, yet the kingdom of Israel had not been restored.

Don’t give up. The millennium kingdom is something to look forward to. It’s going to happen. The King will return and reign on the throne of David in Jerusalem. He will judge all nations. Why give up?😀

I'm giving up because we practice two different religions.

Acts 1:6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?
You are reading this through the lens of dispensationalism. restore the kingdom to Israel is bringing back in the scatted ten tribes into Christ's kingdom:

(Mat 15:24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.)

We see that James writes to 12 tribes as believers:

(James 1:1 James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.)

(James 1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations.)

To claim that that lost sheep of Israel have not been restored to the kingdom is to misunderstand or ignore the above scriptures and to claim that Jesus and the apostles mission failed.

The judge ready to return as we read in James 5 in the last days.
Misreading James.

(James 5:9 Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door.)

You have the judge standing before the door for nearly two thousand years.

Trying to make a dent in a dispensationalist is harder than getting a bone from the mouth of a wolf.
It's not impossible, I used to be one of them. But all it took for me to change was people showing me in scripture where I was wrong and unlike most, I listened to them.

I used to go along with the dispensational view as well, took me a long time to accept that is was in error.

I think I still carry a little dispensational baggage.
I thought that dispensations were just groupings of time. There is OT, NT, Trib, Millenium, Final State. What is meant by 'Dispesationalism' and 'dispensational baggage'?

Nope, not if you believe that the time period to whom James is writing is to the Jews right before the second coming of the Lord. Can Scripture be prophetic?

Dispensationalism has quite a few different versions. I got to get on a conference call but I'll be back shortly with a better answer.

Not following your line of reasoning here 146, James is prophesying the soon coming judgment otherwise James would not state the judge is at the door ready to "enter".

Does anyone know where the tribes are today?

Can any Jewish person self identify which of the 12 tribes they're from?

Intermarriage was going on in Nehemiah's days. Imagine how diluted the the tribes must be by today.

God wanted them to stay to their own tribes' inheritances. It's unimaginable how corrupt this situation must be by now.

Only God can decide who belongs to what. His ways are above ours.

Like I said earlier, there are several levels of dispensationalism. The most extreme believe that certain sections of the bible are written to the Jews before the tribulation, some scripture is written to the Jews during the tribulation and some scripture is only written to the church.

Along with that, they believe that each one of the groups above are saved by different methods... different dispensations of grace. Some is grace alone while others are grace plus works.

They also believe in the "7 Year Tribulation", "The antichrist" making a peace treaty with Israel some time in the near future according to them. They won't be here for that though because Jesus will rapture them out. They also believe that Christ will sit on the literal throne of David in Jerusalem and we will rule and reign with him during that time.

This is my understanding and dispensationalist feel free to correct me.
