All believers have the Holy Spirit. The Baptism of the Holy Spirit ended with the Apostles who imparted it beyond the two outpourings. Be careful you do not add to scripture.

Scripture does not support your limitations on the Holy Spirit but rather disproves them.

If you don't know your Bible and believe in miricales you may not get them...for it takes faith in Christ...the gifts still exist and there is still the Baptism of the HS it just may not be visible all the time...and not all may get it like others....for if you are crazy and come up with cessationism...which makes no sense anyway....the way P/C does things may no be right either

Find one example where the baptism of the Holy SPirit came in a way besides the two outpourings or through an Apostle's hands.

I am glad that you have obtained perfection and understanding in all.
I have to disagree on that account for there are many divisions and lack of understanding of the word of God among the brethern.
I know not more than a child in His word yet I have been studying it more than 45 yrs.
Every time I study and pray before I study the Holy Spirit teaches me something new for my soul.
There is much wisdom in the word and lessons of life for us to learn,several prophetic books are still shrouded in mystery.
That is why we are commanded to study to show ourselves approved of God!

I have prayed in tongues,not at my will but as the Spirit saw fit to speak to God on my behalf.

The simple reason is I am filled with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of tongues and God gives those gifts of the Spirit according to HIS WILL not ours!

Whatever is not of faith is sin. Faith comes from hearing the Word of God. Are you sinning if you don't have scripture to support your beliefs?

I have never seen a charismatic obcess over and attack baptists.
But tons of baptists are offended by the notion God is still alive and is the same yesterday,today,and forever.

The question I would ask is. Will you look to the foundation of the doctrine of Tongues found in Isaiah 28 , reflected as the law spoken of in 1 Corinthians 14: 22-23?

Or is the foundation not necessary to develop the doctrine? Just make a noise and fall backward. . .and therefore edify oneself as a sign with a lying wonder.

No such thing as a outward sign gift. Christian walk by faith, the unseen eternal.

You are simply adding things that are not there ,The apostles were not crucified for the sin of the world. They like us sent ones (apostles) planted the incorruptible gospel seed and water it. God alone causes growth if there is any.

The word apostle simply meaning sent one. Not authoritative on , or one that are to be worshipped /venerated. That's as a Catholic doctrine .Men lording it over another man faith. Making the faith of Christ without effect.

No man can serve two masters. The flesh self serving and the Spirit serving the unseen God.

most pentecostal / full gospel churches are no longer moving in the gifts.

Only a handful are still carrying on.

So sad compared to when i got saved and later recieved the baptism in the Holy Spirit. That was in 1977 during the charismatic movement. What a feast it was. I will never forget it.

One of the ways we know we are (in the way,or on track) is being with God,experiencing the power, and then seeing that power and awesome lovely Spirit CONFIRMED in the bible.

What then was with the believers before 1901? Because your teaching was not before. In australia f.e. then no believer was found before 1908. Because the first person received the baptism with the Holy Spirit in 1908. All others then are wrong? No real believers ?

There were people exercising spiritual gifts before 1901. Just studying the period just prior to it there was speaking in tongues- just one of the gifts. There are many more accounts of healing.
