Interesting thing about martin luther is that apparently he was the guy who didnt quite believe that with faith comes works.
The lutheran church has a lot to answer for, it would have been this church that stood by and did nothing as hitler implemented his regime.
This is my surmising though, of course i wasnt there at the time but I do wonder why christians in germany would get a bad rap for not standing up to hitler. Faith is active, but if faith stood by and did nothing cos it was 'faith alone' then it would have been not faith at all. It would be like Rahab not sending the spies another way but just telling the spies oh I will pray for you.

This happened in Germany starting in 1941 until the end of WW 2 in 1944. It can not be made the case that Nazism had any connection to Christianity.

Right now it is Christians who are moving Jews out of Muslim controlled countries where they are oppressed, Eastern Europe and Russia where they are oppressed and starving under socialism, back to Israel where they want to be, and feeding the and housing them, and educating them and all sorts of wonderful good humanitarian stuff.

As many Jews that I have met I have never heard one say they hate Christians. I even listen to several Jewish radio hosts who as international personalities only espouse good sentiment toward Christians.
A few bitter people are not the representative of the whole. They are miserable outliers. The sad part is that they are not the ones who actually suffer. The ones who actually suffer blame only their afflictor, and willingly accept and love anyone who shows any compassion toward them.
Only in the Western world does such hypersensitivity exist... Where the spoiled are spoiled rotten.

We had a speaker on sunday, who was brought up hindu but become a christian talk about being fostered by a jewish christian lady. She had escaped the concentration camps. Now he ministers the gospel to israeli travellers to my country and they go back to Israel and tell others about Jesus.
I have never heard any jewish people say bad things about christians. They might not understand our customs as we dont understand theirs, but I have been to a few messianic gatherings and they all love Jesus/Yeshua the same as gentiles. I think its really only the orthodox ones that are quite closed off because their lifestyle is so segregated.

The Jews as a people have suffered more persecution than any other people down through the ages. They have been kicked out of over 100 countries, they have had blood libels, pogroms, their rights taken,their property stolen all before Hitler ever came along. And yes, Catholics and Christians had a part in that.

I use to say the same thing until I began looking into history. Then I learned about Replacement Theology and read what some of the church fathers like Martin Luther said. Luther was revered in Germany and what he said about the Jews,( that they were pigs, their synagogues should be burned down, that they were forever cursed and had no God), directly influenced the German people and how they saw Jews and how they let the Holocaust happen on their doorstep.
that is a direct result of what happened at the cross when they yelled to Jesus "His blood be on us and our offspring". it sure has been hasnt it? and will continue to be until they turn to Jesus
it certainly is a poor testament of Jesus to be mistreating jews. just as it is mistreating any group of people. i dont buy into zionism or the political american agenda, i stay far far away from all that. Jesus didnt call us to look into earthly evil rulers, but to focus on the kingdom of God.
i guess the truth im getting at is: if you study on how to become a citizen of israel, it has nothing to do with being a descendant of abraham. it has all to do with religion. you can convert to orthodox judaism today and get your citizenship tomorrow.. thats not a descendant of abraham. thats a son of a convert as most rabbis admit they themselves are.

Since they live among us and we know about their lying and blasphemy and cursing, we can not tolerate them if we do not wish to share in their lies, curses, and blasphemy. Fourthly, their rabbis must be forbidden under threat of death to teach any more...Fifthly, passport and traveling privileges should be absolutely forbidden to the Jews.
