That only happens if we have been washed in the blood, which means we have a relationship with God. How are we made right with God? Is it not by putting on God's righteousness? Job did not know God, or how to find him. Job did not know how to be right with God. Job exalted his own righteousness above that of God's righteousness. Job did not know God until the 42 chapter when he said, I have only heard of you, but now I see you.

Job 9:2 I know it is so of a truth: but how should man be just with God?

Job 9:24 The earth is given into the hand of the wicked: he covereth the faces of the judges thereof; if not, where, and who is he?

Job 40:8 Will you also disannul my judgment? will you condemn me, that you mayest be righteous?

Job 42:5 I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee.

God removed the hedge because after giving Job many warnings through visions in the night Job was still heading for the pit.

Job 7:14 Then thou scarest me with dreams, and terrifiest me through visions:

Job 33:14-24 For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed; Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction, That he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man. He keepeth back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword. He is chastened also with pain upon his bed, and the multitude of his bones with strong pain: So that his life abhorreth bread, and his soul dainty meat. His flesh is consumed away, that it cannot be seen; and his bones that were not seen stick out. Yea, his soul draweth near unto the grave, and his life to the destroyers. If there be a messenger with him, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to shew unto man his uprightness: Then he is gracious unto him, and saith, Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom.

Jesus Christ is that ransom.
Well tell that to Satan

Job 1:10 Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.

You are so invested in your interpretation you have to pretend all the verses disproving it aren't there.

I think the more important question is why did God remove the hedge of protection and allow Satan to do all these things? We have a promise that Jesus is our strong tower, we can run into Him and be safe. So why was Job not in that strong tower?
8 Then the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil?”

We have to remember that these events surrounding Job specifically, and the ENTIRE human drama generally, is being observed by angels.

1 Peter 1
12 To them it was revealed that, not to themselves, but to us they were ministering the things which now have been reported to you through those who have preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven—things which angels desire to look into.

Yes the situation revealed that Job although BLAMELESS, was NOT SINLESS, displayed by a level of pride. But it also revealed that although God WILL discipline those that are His, they will NEVER CURSE GOD, and permanently walk away from Him.

Not sure if Satan learned this lesson, but the Bene Elohim did.

It is my opinion that Job represents the other brother. Jacob represents all Israel, and Job represents Edom. Evidence for this lies in many places so I will present only a few. Job's name means hated. "Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated. The first 18 verses in Lamentations 3 have a parallel verse in the book of Job. Lam 4:21 Rejoice and be glad, O daughter of Edom, that dwellest in the land of Uz; the cup also shall pass through unto thee: thou shalt be drunken, and shalt make thyself naked. Job was the greatest man in the land of UZ. Job's best friend was an Edomite. Job 34:29 When he giveth quietness, who then can make trouble? and when he hideth his face, who then can behold him? whether it be done against a nation, or against a man only:

God's relationship with Job parallels God's relationship with Israel. Though Israel was the apple of God's eye, when they sinned they suffered. While Israel was the apple of God's eye, they did not have salvation. Listen to what Paul said, Rom 10:1 Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. Paul goes on to say that they were without knowledge, just as God said to Job. Paul also says they had not submitted to the righteousness of God. Again. that is what God said about Job. If you don't submit to the righteousness of God, you cannot be saved.

You ask about the hedge removal. Listen to what God says to Israel in Isaiah.

Isa 5:1-7 Now will I sing to my wellbeloved a song of my beloved touching his vineyard. My wellbeloved hath a vineyard in a very fruitful hill: And he fenced it, and gathered out the stones thereof, and planted it with the choicest vine, and built a tower in the midst of it, and also made a winepress therein: and he looked that it should bring forth grapes, and it brought forth wild grapes. And now, O inhabitants of Jerusalem, and men of Judah, judge, I pray you, betwixt me and my vineyard. What could have been done more to my vineyard, that I have not done in it? wherefore, when I looked that it should bring forth grapes, brought it forth wild grapes? And now go to; I will tell you what I will do to my vineyard: I will take away the hedge thereof, and it shall be eaten up; and break down the wall thereof, and it shall be trodden down: And I will lay it waste: it shall not be pruned, nor digged; but there shall come up briers and thorns: I will also command the clouds that they rain no rain upon it. For the vineyard of the LORD of hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah his pleasant plant: and he looked for judgment, but behold oppression; for righteousness, but behold a cry.

Isa 5:13 Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.

Yes Chapter 1. When God declared him His.

Reaffirmed by Job himself in Chapter 19:

Job 19:25-27

New International Version

25 I know that my redeemer lives,
and that in the end he will stand on the earth.
26 And after my skin has been destroyed,
yet in my flesh I will see God;
27 I myself will see him
with my own eyes—I, and not another.
How my heart yearns within me!

Yes Chapter 1. When God declared him His.
God in his foreknowledge new that Job was his. Job was God's servant, but Job declared himself a hired servant. The hired servant could not partake of the Passover Lamb. Another hired servant, who also was a non-Hebrew, is an example of the state of Job. Nebuchadnezzar was declared by God to be his servant before Nebuchadnezzar had his golden statue which everyone had to fall down to and worship. We later see the salvation of Nebuchadnezzar.

Jer 25:1-2 The word that came to Jeremiah concerning all the people of Judah in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, that was the first year of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon; Behold, I will send and take all the families of the north, saith the LORD, and Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will bring them against this land, and against the inhabitants thereof, and against all these nations round about, and will utterly destroy them, and make them an astonishment, and an hissing, and perpetual desolations.

Dan 4:2 I thought it good to shew the signs and wonders that the high God hath wrought toward me. How great are his signs! and how mighty are his wonders! his kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and his dominion is from generation to generation.

Dan 4:36 At the same time my reason returned unto me; and for the glory of my kingdom, mine honour and brightness returned unto me; and my counsellors and my lords sought unto me; and I was established in my kingdom, and excellent majesty was added unto me. Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.

Nebuchadnezzar was called by God his servant in the first year of his reign. And we can be assured this was before his salvation. He suffered for seven seasons as a beast of the field and afterwards acknowledged and praised God. And then God restored everything to him at the end.

Yes, many a preacher stands in the pulpit declaring what they have read in the bible, yet never having submitting themselves to God.

Job said, Job 42:5 I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee. There is a difference between hearing something and repeating it, and actually knowing it.

Job said, Job 27:6 My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go: my heart shall not reproach me so long as I live. Notice this is Job's righteousness and not God's righteousness. Job's heart did reproach him at the end when he was saved.

Elihu said, Job 35:2 Thinkest thou this to be right, that thou saidst, My righteousness is more than God's? No man can be saved by depending on his own righteousness. It wasn't until Job submitted to God's righteousness was he saved.
