“Cain, who was of that wicked one…”
Yeah, he was the child of the devil. Now, of course he was Adam‘s and Eve’s son but, in the perspective of perfection, Cain was the son of the devil. That is to say: from the perspective of the eternal Cain’s father was Satan.
This is the first manifestation of this consequence of sin:
And I will put enmity
Between you and the woman,
And between your seed and her Seed
Amen brother indeed
“
In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil:
whosoever
doeth not righteousness is not of God,
neither he that loveth not his brother.”
1 John 3:10
killing your brother isn’t loving them . Wrote this thing here once when reflecting on the matter of cain and abel cain seems sneaky and subtle like this sort of
remember brother , we were young
together many , songs we sung ?
And from those branches , once we swung
we climbed n’ played we jumped n’ hung ?”
now young brother , come with me
let’s go out to , our willow tree
beyond the field , where none can see
the plans I’ve made , for i and thee.”
“come follow brother , far away
where none can hear , the things we say
when we get there , you can stay
and I’ll slip off , that other way
Behind you brother , noises be
but worry not , it’s only me
young brother wait there , at our tree
that weeping willow , that you see
Now brother rest here , it is wise
we’ve walked so long , and have arrived
soon I’ll return , with your surprise
Sweet brother just , keep shut your eyes
“ Now dear brother , you can see
I’ve plotted plans, to murder ye
to bury you , beneath this tree
this weeping willow , weeps for thee
Now Guilty I am cast away
And nothing have I , words to say
i killed you brother yesterday
Now this curse , my price to pay “
Someday I’ll come , for you to see
There at our tree , we used to be
Brothers there upon that tree
Your weeping willow , haunting me
Forever always haunting me
Young brother abel where you be ,
beyond the field beneath the tree
the one of childhood memories

“And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen? If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him. And
Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him. And the LORD said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not:
Am I my brother's keeper? And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground.”
