On what most call Good Friday, 1969, God's spirit entered into me.
kThat evening, at a coffee house on campus, I was given to enter into
the storage room, and there on a table was a book opened.
I read just some of it, and it touched my soul. I did not know what book
it wasuntil I looked and saw it was the Bible and opened to the Book of
Isaiah. Every word was alive and still is.

I was then led to Jesus Christ totally, and dhave been His ever since.
No one has seen Him in His glorified form, this is to come, but we
all know Him in our hearts, those who have received the Holy Spirit.

I do not like the tone of several folks when addressing each other and me
because it is accompanied with veiled accusations of ignorance and
plain finger pointing.

Again, I presume most folks here understand util they demonstrate tehy do not.

The "Feast Days" are called moed/moadim and qodesh miqra:

#H4150 מוֹעֵד mow`ed (mo-ade') n-m. 1. (properly) an appointment, i.e. a fixed time or season., 2. (specifically) a festival., 3. (conventionally) a year., 4. (by implication) an assembly (as convened for a definite purpose)., 5. (technically) the congregation., 6. (by extension) the place of meeting., 7. (also) a signal (as appointed beforehand)., [from H3259], KJV: appointed (sign, time), (place of, solemn) assembly, congregation, (set, solemn) feast, (appointed, due) season, solemn(-ity), synogogue, (set) time (appointed). , Root(s): H3259

"set-apart" is word #H6944 קֹדֶשׁ qodesh (ko'-desh) n-m. 1. a holy thing., 2. (of location) a holy place., 3. (of event) a holy event (i.e. a memorial)., 4. (abstract, rarely) holiness., 5. (double emphasized) Holy of Holies (the holy place of holy places, the most holiest place)., 6. Holy (Spirit)., [from H6942]
KJV: consecrated (thing), dedicated (thing), hallowed (thing), holiness, (X most) holy (X day, portion, thing), saint, sanctuary. , Root(s): H6942 , See also: H4720, G39

"gatherings" is word #H4744 מִקרָא miqra' (mik-raw') n-m. 1. something called out, i.e. regarding citizens (the act of, the persons, or the place)., 2. a calling forth (of the congregation) to assemble., 3. (as an event, with H6944) a (holy) called out memorial (i.e. a recalling to collective memory; the appointed feasts; see Leviticus 23:2)., 4. (specially) a called out assembly (of the Redeemed Kinsmen of Yahweh— out of captivity; see Nehemiah 8:8, then Exodus 6:6, Exodus 15:13)., 5. (specifically, of Yeshua) a called out assembly of the Redeemed of Yeshua (Jesus), both of Jew (first) and of Gentile— from Moral Failure and Death (see progression from Isaiah 4:5, Matthew 18:17, Matthew 16:18, Acts 2:47)., 6. (Note #1) (The called out assembly is the citizenry of the Redeemed of Jesus; the citizenry under his Redemption and Kingship; Although identified regionally, the citizens of Redemption differs by nature from a local gathering, synagogue, congregation, or the institution of church. “What redemption do you belong to?”)., 7. (Note #2) From Matthew 16:18, Yeshua said, “I will build מִקְרָאֶתִי , my called out assembly.” When residing upon mount Tsiyon (Zion), it is figuratively called “מִקְרָאֶהָ , her called out assembly” in Isaiah 4:5. Aside from this, it is never personalized by anyone else in Scripture; we belong to him., [from H7121], KJV: assembly, calling, convocation, reading. , Root(s): H7121 , See also: G1577
I detest the KJV version of the Bible because it is flawed with the changing nature of languages. A prime example of this is in the KJV the commandment "Thou shalt not kill" demonstrates this. In 1611 the word kill meant murder. Modern translations use the word murder.

Here is the NIV which makes it clear in modern English.

31 Now it was the day of Preparation, and the next day was to be a special Sabbath. Because the Jewish leaders did not want the bodies left on the crosses during the Sabbath, they asked Pilate to have the legs broken and the bodies taken down.32 The soldiers therefore came and broke the legs of the first man who had been crucified with Jesus, and then those of the other.33 But when they came to Jesus and found that he was already dead, they did not break his legs

I start with the KJV and compare other Bible versions and look up the word history and definitions. Until I find the version that I feel is right for me.

But you are correct. Due to the fact that many words in the KJV have had meaning changes over the last 400 years, which can lead to misunderstanding of the scriptures and confusion.

Which version of the Bible do you use?

I have been using E-sword to help compare. I need to upgrade it as it will no longer let me download anymore Bible version.

Yeah I get it, I personally don't use the KJV either, it has it's benefit IMO, for concordance linking, honestly I don't use the NIV either, but nearly any version is sufficient if we look into the original language, also I like translations the give footnotes with alternate manuscript readings that why one can see different possibilities and seek to find what one is correct.

It does not take a whole lot of intellect to believe what scripture says....considering we are to be as little children who God is speaking to...yet christianity is totally incapable of understanding or even being 'corrected. What does that tell us ? or better still....should tell THEM ?

Well I think tradition and long held beliefs can be hard to let go of even in the face of Scriptural truth. Many, and I have done this at times, when one finds out something they believed to be true is actually false they are distraught, rather than seeking what is truth with great diligence many ignore and revert to what they have been tole, tradition or prior held belief,,,even if it is not Scriptural. I was told my entire life a Friday to Sunday death, burial and resurrection, and I counted Friday 1, Saturday 2, Sunday 3. However when I learned the Word and this crossed my path, I pent a full week for 8+ hours a day just studying and praying on this topic. I spent more than one of those days simply trying to find out and understand what a day was YHWH’s time rather than modern time or Judaism time. In the end my joy surpassed my despair, for I had my eyes opened to what was truly in the Scripture. In the same way it takes time, effort and Yah’s guidance, on His time frame as He knows others future we do not, we also know that if someone does not truly seek Yah’s truth He will allow them to go their way, not without showing Himself, but none the less look at the world,. Many would not accept Yah nor His way even if a prophet of YHWH/servant of Messiah Yahushua was sent directly to them. Messiah said He prayed for those that were YHWH’s, may it be that those that are truly His will accept His truth and His ways no matter the time or method.

Psalm 42:2, “My being thirsts for Yah, for the living Strength When shall I enter in to appear before Yah?"

Psalm 32:8 “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you”

Some say it does not matter, the day is not important, etc. Why is it written for us if it is not important?

Because what is important Hizikyah, is that Jesus was crucified, buried and resurrection on the third day, just as he say he would. Therefore, why should the names of the days of the week matter? Our salvation is not based on knowing whether he was crucified Tue, Wed or Thur, or the name of the day of the week that he rose on, but that the Lord paid the penalty for our sins by the shedding of his blood and stood up again in his body on the third day.

By the shedding of his blood our sins have been paid for. And by his resurrection we have also have the hope of the resurrection.

It matters to Almighty, it's His story. It matters to me, and I don't understand why people say "it doesn't matter" pertaining to any part of scripture, it all matters, every jot and tittle.

Well then, please show us in scripture where it tells us that it is necessary for us to know the names of the days of the week. Isn't it more important that we believe that Jesus paid the penalty for our sins, that he was buried and resurrected three days later. Or is it more important for you guys to keep going around in circles and arguing about Tue, Wed, thur and Fri?

Exactly ! if correct timing of His entombment and resurrection is not important why are we given so much information on it...not least Yashuah's own prediction ?
It is absolutely VITAL to know these facts so that we can't be taken advantage of by UNgodly men who would not stoop to 'replacing the authentic Jesus with a false copy, an imposter for people to follow and be led astray !!!
THIS IS just what has happened to 'christianity and is blatantly obvious looking at their 'splintered churches/denominations DISagreeing on just about everything...and they find it very hard to 'get along much less 'love each other !
People have been fooled into accepting any jesus presented to them because they have 'no means of IDENTIFYING the true one...never having known Him...and even rejecting correction.
JESUS warned of DEception !!!

Excuse me, where have I posted in this thread before this? As for which parts of scripture is more important than others, neither you nor I have authority to make that call.

There is no argument as to the days and time...only from those who refuse to believe.
All who believe in a sunday resurrection are blindly following an imposter.
Why do you think Jesus will say :depart from me...I never knew you ? they have not followed HIM !

I do not think that if we do not understand what day Jesus resurrected will keep us out of heaven, for if that is the case I better get to learning all the Old Testament kings, and prophets, and all the genealogies, and every city in the Bible.Drat, and I thought is would be easier.

I wonder if God will give us a test when we get to heaven on how well we knew the Bible.Oh you do not know how long My beloved servant David ruled,be gone with you heathen.Oh you did not understand the end time with flawless accuracy, and understand all things pertaining thereof, bind him hand and foot and cast him in to outer darkness.

I am not trying to mock you,but being funny.Sorry if it is mockery, but Jesus said they could not dwell with Him,because they did not do the will of the Father, and were workers of iniquity, which the Bible says they have a form of godliness, but deny the power thereof, ever learning and never able to come to the truth, and it was their sins they were holding unto which was the reason.
