You go to the lake of fire because of your unbelief, because you don't know the Lord, not your sin, if it were not so ALL would perish, none would be saved.
This theology is a side-step theology. Most of scripture is about the sin of man and how it can be
resolved through repentance, sacrifice and following God and His commands.
Belief is pitched as buying in to this reality, believing God is right to condemn sin and judge it,
and pronounce people as guilty.
The cross has various affects on the believer. It demonstrates above anything else God loves us.
It shows love having victory over sin and death, and that God will bring believers into His Kingdom.
If you say sin no longer holds judgement, and is no longer to be repented of or resolved, then one
has changed Gods nature and the meaning of the gospel totally. No longer are one a people walking
in love and righteousness, but in sin and failure, only pointing to Jesus but never walking like Him.
It suggests sin has never been a problem, just our faith in God being good. But in this idea, the
world could be as evil as it desired, if it acknowledge God is good, then it would be saved.
But even demons do this and are still doomed to the lake of fire.
