The Christian life is not a school and you get no prize for effort. By the way, immolate means to kill or offer as a sacrifice by burning. I don't plan to do that.
The Christian life is rest, not striving. When we walk in the Spirit, it is Christ in us who empowers us. We need to rest in the finished work of Christ in His death and resurrection. It's new life in Christ, not trying to live up to an impossible standard. The new covenant of grace was necessary because the old covenant of Laws was ineffective. We read in the Bible that we are the problem, not the Law. You will also find that the Law is shallow compared to what God really expects from us. Only Jesus kept and fulfilled the Law. God is only pleasd with Jesus. When you live in total and humble dependence on Him, you will find that the burden of trying is replaced with the joy of trusting. Everything is easy if someone else is going it for you. Let Jesus live out His life in you and through you. You will have to ask Him, it's not automatic. I have zero confidence in my ability to please God. I have every confidence in Jesus, who is my Lord, my Life, my Righteousness and Holiness. It does not get any better than that.

the First 4 are definitely Commands to not commit offense to God and His Creation.
So, since 6 of the Commandments, have NOTHING to do with the Law, why is it wrong to observe them?
