Are you saying it is too complicated to keep our mind on what is good as we are told to do in Phil. 4:8?
No. What I am saying is that you are complicating matters with culture etc.

Referring to following video, Adam told Eve that God has told us to not eat the fruit from Tree of Knowledge.
Adam said, if we eat that fruit, we will die.
Finally, Adam and Eve eat the fruit from Tree of Knowledge

Referring to following video, there is a challenge for Kids within brain.

Dad (God) told kid not to eat candy and wait
Kid understands in mind not to eat, but nerve system from Body (Devil) keeps giving positive feedback to eat.

The first kid does not eat (No Sins), who listen to Dad's word instead of Body's feeling, but
second one eat (Sins), who listen to Body's feeling instead of Dad's word.
What make both Kids behave differently on controlling mindset?

What does God want to us from controlling our mind?

Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance

Your question begs understanding of ...free will.
God does not control mature minds. We have free will. Being perfect, if God controlled our minds then we would have to be perfect.
Further, if God controlled minds then He would not have had to give us unlimited number of times for sin forgiveness...would He?

What does God want us from controlling our mind?
1) Follow the rules (God), just like a robot and not listen to the body (Feeling), which give positive feedback to eat based on body's nerve system response
2) Listen to Body (Feeling), which give positive feedback to eat based on body's nerve system response, and not follow the given rules (God)

Do you have any suggestions?
Thanks, to everyone very much for any suggestions (^v^)
Perhaps you didn't notice, Adam & Eve weren't told not to any eat food. Quite the opposite.
They were told they could eat from any tree in the garden except one.

If you prefer to stick with the M&M's motif.....
There was a whole sweet shop full of rich & delicious candies to eat. All they had to do was leave the M&M's alone.

Are you talking about fasting?I would say deny the body to get stronger In controlling the 5 senses but not to go too much too soon but a little at a time.

Free will without clear instruction, we 99% listen on how our body tells us, which indirectly affect our decision making process. Is anyone walking the talk? and does anyone understand my issue?

Do you have any suggestions?
Thanks, to everyone very much for any suggestions (^v^)

No. What I am saying is that you are complicating matters with culture etc.
Then you are getting culture matters mixed up. I am speaking of the changes man assigns to the meaning of words based on his culture. It is talking of language, no complications to it, just common sense understanding.
