I didn’t understand your motives, but debates still don’t work.
^ especially since Jesus tells us, "...they will still not believe, even if someone is raised from the dead"

They don't work in the way you want them to, but they do work. If you are hoping that you will get an honest account of the candidates stance on a variety of issues, then no, they don't work. If you are hoping that these thorny issues will be debated and when it is over you will see the light as the correct path to take, then no, they don't work.

But if you are hoping for two hours of material that your campaign can then cut up into pieces and use for their campaign ads, then they do work. That is the purpose.

They know that of the 150 million Americans who will vote in the election only about 10% actually watch the debate from start to finish and for the most part those are the ones who have already made up their minds. What they are hoping to get is material they can use in campaign ads to influence undecided voters in swing states.

*disclaimer
I am not asserting that @ZNP calculations are off and mine are spot on, I'm only hoping mine are closer to accurate so that we see relief much sooner than later:)

and it is now the year 5784 as of the eve of Oct 2, and the next year, 5785 divided by 50 results that
The Hebrew calendar is "off" by as much as 256 years.

The following is an older article explaining:

"The Jewish Calendar: What year is it, and does it really matter?" - Dr David R Reagan

The Jewish Calendar | Jewish Life | Lamb and Lion Ministries (christinprophecy.org)

[quoting from article] "That brings the total difference to 256 years!"

In view of this study, I do not believe that "5758" is the actual current year.

[and for the readers: the "1260 days" the "1290 days" and the "1335 days" should be understood as "days" and not "years," in their contexts where these are mentioned :) ]

No the Pharisees had to change the year because after Jesus' crucifixion many of the Jews began to wake up and realize according to the prophecies that Jesus was the Messiah, so they wanted them to feel they were still a few hundred years away. That is also why the rabbis avoid Isaiah 53, it is too obvious that it talks about Jesus.

However, that said, Jesus is Lord and I do believe that the number of the year is 5785 is the Lord's sovereignty because the gematria of 5785 does speak a lot as to what is to take place.

Right. So they chopped out a couple hundred years (perhaps as many as 256 years, as the article states), so the ACTUAL year is NOT [now] "5785" but [as much as] 256 years LATER than that (or whatever). IOW, the Hebrew calendar is incorrect when it states that this is year 5785.

However, that said, Jesus is Lord and I do believe that the number of the year is 5785 is the Lord's sovereignty because the gematria of 5785 does speak a lot as to what is to take place.
How can you be saying that the Hebrew calendar is both "changed" from what it SHOULD be, and at the same time also be "correct"?
That doesn't make sense to me. lol

Didn't say that. I said that they have removed a few hundred years so it is not correct, but that all things work together for good to those who love God and are called according to His purpose. Numbers can be equated to words. So although they have changed the dates, the Lord can still speak through that to us.

Can any clear unambiguous OT passages be provided to support the resurrection

Yours is a lost cause because no matter which passages we quote from the
Old Testament, nor the quantity, Muhammad's faithful followers will
maintain the NT has manipulated the OT.

BTW: The Koran teaches Muslims that Jesus did not die on the cross.

The Women [4.157] . . And their saying: Surely we have killed the Messiah,
Isa son of Marium, the apostle of Allah; and they did not kill him nor did
they crucify him, but it appeared to them so (like Isa) and most surely those
who differ therein are only in a doubt about it; they have no knowledge
respecting it, but only follow a conjecture, and they killed him not for sure.

NOTE: Jesus didn't send his apostles out as salesmen, rather, as heralds. So
if you're getting into debates, I'd have to say you should not be doing that.

Most take it quite literally, yes. But I can't discount that the written word isn't a much spirit and perhaps moreso. Given that adjustment is applied in order to align with a particular assertion that the antichrist has yet rule to come into rule, the years application in in accordance that (I will call it) its rule was officially established in 691ad.
