Apparently, it has not yet posted.
Btw, the other post did not focus as much on women. It did not contain the part about disagreeing with the wording of 'your women' and 'them' versus going back to 'you' in 'what came the word out from among you.'

I figured you was masculine plural in Greek, and it would have to be feminine plural if it was only talking to women, but I did not find that in the interlinear. I am wondering if the pronoun is actually masculine like that even though it does not show up on the interlinear grammar summary, so someone who studied that and remembers it could let me know if they read this.

If you don't know then I'm not going to tell you; in obedience to the verse in question.
It's not my job to chase down scriptures and then try to guess your meaning. If you have something to say it's your job to explain yourself. I guess you don't have anything that important to say.

I am not here to change your mind all I can tell you is 1. I listen to her teaching of Christians being demon-possessed, 2. Generational curses of Christians. I personally made contact with her to ask some questions about her teaching which she did not reply. I care less if she calls herself an apostle, evangelist, or prophet. The work she does and her teaching MUST be Biblical.

We are to judge that as 1cor chapter 14 tells us to do.

1. it is unbiblical and error to teach Christians can be demon-possessed. 2. it is unbiblical to teach Christians are held to generational curses. These teaching were very popular in the 1990s and 2000's One major teacher of this was a guy from Oregon portland. I forget his name.
Hello @CS1

I do understand what you’re saying about True Christian Holy Spirit Filled Believers NOT being able to be “demon possessed” but don’t these same Believers have to guard their hearts with all diligence…. don’t I have to choose to sin? What really causes me to sin?

Didn’t Ananias and his wife Sapphira choose to lie?

But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession, And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles' feet.

But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power?

why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.
Acts 5:1-4 - https://www.biblegateway.com/passage?search=Acts 5:1-4&version=KJV

Peter asked, “Why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit…?

What do you suppose it means for “Satan to fill our heart”? Isn’t our heart somewhere inside of us?

Obviously, there is a place in us that Satan or devils or demons can occupy….it’s our heart.

Where is our heart? I believe our heart is the combination of our emotions and our will which are 2 parts of our soul.

Our soul is our mind, will and emotions.

We are to guard our hearts with all diligence. Our hearts can become defiled unclean and filled with bitterness, resentment, unforgiveness, covetousness, envy, jealousy…. even though we know the Truth and are saved.

Jesus said…

Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.
John 14:30 - https://www.biblegateway.com/passage?search=John 14:30&version=KJV

Paul said….

Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

Neither give place to the devil.

Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.
Ephesians 4:26-28 - https://www.biblegateway.com/passage?search=Ephesians 4:26-28&version=KJV

These are “heart” issues that Paul is talking about.

If our hearts become defiled it gives Satan, devils, demons, evil spirits a place in us to occupy. They have to be cast out.

We have to repent and ask God to create in us a CLEAN heart and renew a RIGHT spirit IN US.

Luke 9:49-50
And John answered and said,Master,we SAW ONE CASTING OUT DEVILS.......IN THY NAME; and we forbade him, because he FOLLOWETH NOT WITH US.
And Jesus said unto him,FORBID him NOT: for he that is NOT against us is for us.

JESUS' answer was this when his disciples found another USING HIS NAME to cast out demons.
The disciples rebuked or forbade him continue bc he FOLLOWETH NOT WITH us.

There is only one Master and one Lord of our soul, and NOBODY comes to the father except through Jesus.
There is NO other name whereby man can be saved except by Jesus.

How do these scriptures stand against what we've seen in these videos?
They certainly DID NOT USE THE NAME OF JESUS,which is the authority.
They didn't seek his name or number of. The speaker held NO authority in her commands but spoke in a soft voice as if addressing a child.

We do not conjole nor request but COMMAND IN THE NAME OF JESUS for deliverance.

This person supposedly possessed was posing as has been said, her HEAD would have been in repeated contact with the CEMENT. The contortions were not real, they break bones and pull out of joint, her spittle was just salvia, eruptions from a demon are foul smelling, slimy, green and yellow, and the person possessed looks caged.

Having witnessed REAL possession in a service,MY opinion is this is fake, phony and misleading.

But the question remains as above in Luke 9.
Any answers?

I will say this...that I believe that if Jesus were walking the earth today, He would encourage people to read the kjv as being the superior translation...

And I would even say that abiding in the kjv is very likely one aspect of the narrow path that He spoke of in Matthew 7:13-14.

Here is the issue, guarding one's heart and saying Christians can be demon-possessed are two different things. IF Jesus is one's Lord and Savior the devil cannot possess them. We can be ATTACKED, tempted, and oppressed. The OSAS group will say they were never saved. I am not here to debate that.

Others will say they lost their salvation. I am not here to debate that either. The point I will say is they cannot be saved and be demon-possessed. So meaning :

1. they were never Christians never saved, to begin with.
2. apostate and renounced Jesus and are no longer saved.

BUT one cannot be saved and have a demon. Jesus said in context to demon possession :

Matthew chapter 12.

22Then one was brought to Him who was demon-possessed, blind and mute; and He healed him so that the blind and mute man both spoke and saw. 23And all the multitudes were amazed and said, “Could this be the Son of David?”

24Now when the Pharisees heard it they said, “This fellow does not cast out demons except by Beelzebub, the ruler of the demons.”

25But Jesus knew their thoughts, and said to them: “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand. 26 If Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then will his kingdom stand? 27And if I cast out demons by Beelzebub, by whom do your sons cast them out? Therefore they shall be your judges. 28 But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you. 29 Or how can one enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man? And then he will plunder his house. 30 He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad.

Then Jesus said about unclean spirits in the same chapter :

43“When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none. 44 Then he says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when he comes, he finds it empty, swept, and put in order. 45 Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first. So shall it also be with this wicked generation.”

This ties into the "Sower "Matthew 13 the next chapter who went out to sow the seeds and the person who was set free should have allowed the Holy Spirit to take up residency but did not. They were not Filled with the Spirit unto salvation just like the seed that did not make into Good Ground for many reasons.

One can make a profession but God knows the heart just like HE knew Ananias and Sapphires. the book of Acts doesn't say they were saved. it says they held back what they promised to give, which means they held back their hearts.

Now what Jesus said:
  • the house was empty
  • the seed (word of God)was not believed and fully received
  • one can fool man, but NOT God. Jesus knew Judas was a devil before he called him.

Also, Jesus healed many who were possessed and had serious diseases and many did not even come back to thank him. Remember the 10 lepers? how many came back? How about those who shouted Hosanna and the same ones shouting Crucify HIM! God knows who is and has the Spirit and life and Ligh doesn't share with darkness. Ever.

Uh-oh. Either I or the whole forum is under post approval now. I posted it, thought I saw it. Didn't see it. Posted it again, and then saw that it was awaiting approval. So I don't know if I thought I saw it, but I think I posted it twice, or two posts almost the same. Hopefully mods will sort it out. Apologies for the error if a mod reads this.
That is what I thought. It has to be approved by the mods before it is posted, but you will still be able to see it.

I think you are being judmental. I may have been to open with my thoughts. I was also careful to address an idea without passing judgment on issues I had not research. The authority thing seems to be from your imagination.
Yeah, I did not see any such thing in what you wrote. That you take such care to express your thoughts
and beliefs I likewise do not in any way see as you being defensive. You have a lot of patience! :)

I thought your post was helpful and this quote is THE question that should always be in the forefront (y)

Sometimes I do peek just to see where and why all the heat is in a thread........lol
But it is brief.
Thank you!

then we agree

there are still some sensible people in this forum after all
Well, I wouldn't call myself sensible, but rather that I have a strong sense of self-survival, which has caused me not to accept religious traditions without questioning. I can understand your frustration, but I personally wouldn't describe fellow members as lacking in sense, that could be inciteful. 🙂

Greek pronouns are not masc or fem. They are only singular or plural
Here is an example
Singular Plural
Nominative σύ ὑμεῖς
Genitive σοῦ, σου ὑμῶν
Dative σοί, σοι ὑμῖν
Accusative σέ, σε ὑμᾶς

Here’s eyewitness testimony of being touched by God through Kathryn Krick.

All the anointing and power is Jesus Christ; Kathryn Krick is simply a yielded vessel in God’s Hands.

Hey Dino,
Was this addressed to my post since its just above yours?
Not at all! To the one I quoted in my post (which, admittedly, does kind of get hidden with the large pic). Of course, if you have that person on Ignore, you wouldn't see his post.
