Who said arranged marriages are loveless?
All marriages are arranged. Here in western civilization we allow hormones and lies from hollywierd queers to arrange our marriages and nearly half end in divorce. So what is better, a marriage arranged by two individuals committed to Biblical marriage, or stupidity because because we met some chick willing to give her body for a dopamine rush.

apparently many heiresses make disastrous marriages to fortune hunters who only marry them for their money.
I guess men can be dependent as well though in some cultures thats applauded, like women are meant to be conquered and married off as young as possible. If they are wealthy they are seen as a prize posession to be displayed like a trophy and kept under lock and key.

It never occured to these men that women actually had a brain and may have wanted to use it for something else.

Love is a deep attachment that grows out of years of investment into a person's well-being
More like days and weeks in my case, not years. Years of investment in the marriage for sure but love can happen rather quickly.

Many people pushing the rules for Christian dating, annoy me. They have lived their lives from their 20's to their 40's, having sex before marriage They've been married 2 or 3 times and now want to tell singles to be pure and holy before the LORD by setting up limits to dating, yet they never followed those rules themselves. They tell you to control your drives, drives they never controlled themselves. I've had Christians tell me if I even think of sex I have sinned.....the whole time I'm watching them with a spouse and 3 or 4 kids.
Dating according to "the world" never works when Christians try to employ it. Never has, never will. That explains the bad results. Finding a mate, as young adults, is extremely difficult and complicated for Christians today and has been for a number of years.

Big Problem is that the North American Christian church (in general) does not offer a lot of clear discipleship and support in community for good Christian marriages. And the bigger problem is that Christian churches and families are producing young Christian adults that do not have the emotional maturity that allows for good marriages. How's that for some provocative conversation starters!?

A BIG Problem is that the North American Christian church (in general) does not offer a lot of clear, solid, discipleship and support in community for good Christian marriages.

Many Christian churches don't have more than two or three hours of premarital counselling before they marry young adults in their church - and in addition they don't get a lot of counsel and support from their families in too many cases. And we wonder why we have a similar divorce rate to the world??!! Christian churches and families are producing young Christian adults that do not have the emotional maturity that allows for good marriages.

How's that for some provocative conversation starters!?
