Only man misuses the DEAD LAW!
Actually its the devil who uses it against man by causing them to reject Christ, which keeps them under the law.
Once they leave this mental blindness, that is found by believing in Christ, then this person, and all who believe, leave the dominion of the law, and enter the Kingdom of God, that is to become "under the dominion of Grace".

To be "under the law", .......means you are under its dominion and are defined by it.

The law says......>"you are a sinner", based on the fact that you have broken the laws and commandments.
So, it has the RIGHT to define you, according to its dominion.

Christ has "redeemed us (the born again) from the Curse of the Law".
This means we are FREED from the Law's Dominion, so that the Law can't define us, or empower us to sin.

"the power of SIN..........is the LAW".

See that? So, when you are not born again, you are under the Law, and the Law empowers you to sin.
THat is the "curse of the Law", that Jesus removed by putting the born again. "under Grace".

if you as a believer, return to the law......this means to "fall from Grace".......which is to try to keep yourself saved by law and deeds and commandments..... then you have left Grace, (fallen from it), and have re-established yourself as "in the flesh", ... "no longer obeying the Truth", ........which is to now place yourself again, under the law.
This is not to lose your salvation, but its to return to the "flesh", which is the failed self effort to be accepted by God based on the old covenant that Jesus replaced with His Blood.
This is to live in this......"the error of Cain", as Jude teaches.

The LAW is over.
It died at the Cross.
That was 2,000 years ago.
The LAW no longer is used by God!

Only man misuses the DEAD LAW!

The law isn't over for the unbelievers.
Do you believe there is a Sinner out there that does not know they are sinning and have no idea God is real?
If the LAW was applying in working condition as you claim, wouldn't the Sinner know they are sinning even when they don't know God exist?

This is what it means to """walk AFTER the Spirit"""........It means to have become joined to God's Spirit, in Spiritual Union. = "born again"
To walk in the Spirit is to (1) produce the fruit of the Spirit and (2) to exercise the gifts of the Spirit, the greatest being agape love (1 Cor 13). The New Birth enables one to walk in the Spirit, but it is not identical to walking in the Spirit.

GALATIANS 5: WALKING IN THE SPIRIT = THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT
16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh...

18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law...

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is:

  1. love,
  2. joy,
  3. peace,
  4. longsuffering,
  5. gentleness,
  6. goodness,
  7. faith,
  8. meekness,
  9. temperance:
against such there is no law.

24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

This is saying "the devil made me do it". We are given free will, we may choose, we are responsible adults and cannot blame others for what we do.

God offers grace and we are the ones who accept it or reject it.

Walking in the spirit, I think, brings even greater blessings than the ones you list.

The old testament is truth written by the Lord, just as the new testament is. It is just that those truths are written in stone, but the spirit of the law is in those truths written in stone. The world puts out self help books that list many of the same things the spirit of the law gives us, and the old testament lists many more things the law in stone gives. The spirit of the law contains the laws in stone, it is just that it adds the law of love to them, the old testament blessings still apply for they are written by the Lord.

The sinner does not understand "sin". They see it as "life".
They are mind blinded by the Devil.
See, the nature of the Devil is "sin"........and so, the nature of a sinner, is the same.

No, that's just discipleship.

Look again.....walk "IN" the "SPIRIT".

This is not what you do with your body or your mouth.
Its instead a place of FAITH, where your faith is in alignment with God's perspective of who you are become "in Christ".
Its that MIND.
Its having that MIND.

Yes, freewill is our responsibility, yet, """In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them."""

No, that's just discipleship.
You can call it what you will, but you are actually very confused about the difference between the New Birth and walking in the Spirit. The believer's "walk" is the believer's life -- his words and deeds, as well as his attitude. So being a disciple of Christ = walking in the Spirit. I also gave you the correct context.

Let me show you..

first........salvation is not discipleship.

Salvation is all of God, because its completely based on God on the Cross shedding blood and dying to then OFFER this sacrifice as John 3:16.
See that?

Discipleship, on the other hand, is all of the believer doing this....>"present your body a living sacrifice" , with God's help.

Now, there is this...."walking IN the Spirit.
That is neither of those, which explains why you read the phase "walking in the Spirit".
Notice this isn't "Salvation" or 'Discipleship"?
That because its different.

Walking IN the Spirit.........."In".....The.........>>"Spirit".
So, where is the Spirit?
How do you walk in that?, as that is not deeds or effort or anything you do.
Its instead a place of BELIEF, .
Its to align you mind, as the "renewed" mind, so that your understanding of who you have become "in Christ", is always how you perceive yourself, as this is how God always perceives the born again.

Now, if you are just water baptized, being told that the water washed away your sin, then you are still not born again.
But if you have received the Spiritual birth that is to BECOME "the righteousness of God, IN CHRIST"< then there is a MIND that you are to exist within, that is to walk in the Spirit.
