iamsoandso How do we know who 2 believe? We seem 2 suffer from analysis paralysis.
This study involved only 4 people...
Meaning that it isn't conclusive... only that it's an area that might be a good idea to have a large scale study for. That's what these small scale studies are for.
And likely it will be studied.
Because C-19 is an endocrine system virus every portion of the human endocrine system, post infection, is going to be studied thoroughly.
Eventually we will know more about what long term side effects this virus is going to create....ED, sterility, birth defects, thyroid, insulins, and kidneys and etc will be studied...
Surviving C-19 is not the major issue....it's the permanent harm that this virus causes people...and that can very well be the problems associated with the next generation.
There can be temporary harm, eventually overcome, or permanent harm that you have to live with for the rest of your life. It's not a respiratory (pulmonary) system virus like influenza. However strongly that myth is being repeated it's simply not true. Endocrine systems are in EVERY organ in the body including nervous system.
There's a reason why people lose taste and smell...that's because the nervous system has been attacked by the virus. Eyesight and autonomic motor functions are usually the last in a nervous system to be damaged but cognitive function is usually second.
Just saying...just because you don't end up sucking on an oxygen bottle doesn't mean that you have not suffered permanent damage from this virus.
