I wouldn't feed them either. Attention is their main diet.

I am, by definition, not a troll

A troll purposely insights antagonism for attention

I am sharing of the Spirit, which is quite on topic for a Christian forum

I am doing so by citing the Bible for authority... again, on topic

Let's get to the point:

Which denomination/organization do you belong to?
What are its beliefs and what are yours?

Are you here to learn or just to tell the rest of us that we're wrong?

Or are you just trolling us?

I am not of any denomination because sects cause disunity in the body

I believe theosis is the message of the bible

I am here for communion in the Spirit

Henosis is the philosophers word for the same, except Christians argue that you are no more, only God is... this is more accurate, ego is necessarily surrendered such that you are no more there (certainly not as you were)

Hence I have said somewhere Christians rightly won, never the less, it is interesting to look into the idea in companion with theosis

Of course, the word simply means union... to make one

hen = one
osis = change into

Recall the many "God is one" and similar assertions

For instance Galatians 3:20 which is superstitiously important to me because it is my birthday and Galatians 3:28 which sets apart their roles in my mind

What you posted intentionally replaces the text of 1 Corinthians 13:4-8. It starts out with the famous first two lines from v. 4, then goes off into human philosophy. Maybe you can fool someone a little more naive but I know exactly what you're up to.
🙄

Really? I think the member who suggested you are clinging to ink on a page was quite right.

I actually said I was not even attempting to quote scripture. And bit you're trying to suggest in trying to replace it because I coincidentally made a parallel.

Here's a line further on in that chapter for you to think about

Corinthians CH 13 v 13

13 So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

Yes, that's right, the greatest thing out of faith, hope and love is love.

And the passage you're suggesting I am trying to replace is this

4 (E)Love is patient and (F)kind; love (G)does not envy or boast; it (H)is not arrogant 5 or rude. It (I)does not insist on its own way; it (J)is not irritable or resentful; 6 it (K)does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but (L)rejoices with the truth. 7 (M)Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, (N)endures all things.

Notice how is says love is not arrogant or rude?

Some of you might take note of that......

1 Corinthians 13:8 closes "where there is knowledge, it will pass away."

If you are just accumulating information you will never understand it

Acting from that understanding is wisdom

What the Greeks called sophrosyne... its opposite was hubris, and the personification of this (their Satan) is Nemesis, a goddess

It is the quality of a Sage, one who has found wisdom
Rightly, philosophy means lacking knowledge, it meant seeker
A fool is one who doesn't even know there is something to find

This is what Plato says of them

Of course Logos is a Greek term so you kinda have to know what they were going on about to understand it

Still, this is irrelevant

Carrying it around constantly and projecting it onto everything you encounter is bad

Knowing what is there is interesting

Living it is better

I am obviously on a Christian chat site because I want to talk about it right now

I enjoy it, it brings me deeper into the Spirit to bring the mind in line with it consciously

But when I am doing other things it is not there, only oneness remains

Nemesis is also the name of my cat. Just saying. 🤣

As for you saying that Satan is division, you are quite correct. The old words 'United we stand, divided we fall' were never more true.

I actually came into this thread and made the revelation that I am gay fully knowing that it would cause a stir, but hoped to get past it in order to share knowledge from Catholic prophets.

That knowledge is that Satan is walking the earth right now. We are heading toward the end of a 100 year reign. It will end with an event called 'the warning' and it will happen sometime in the next 100 years. Most likely significantly sooner than that.

The arguments and division being seen in this thread are EXACTLY how Satan is destroying the church. He's caused people to fall away in massive numbers through revealing the wrongdoings of the clergy and he's poisoning the well for those who remain within by causing disagreement and dissent.

Homosexuality is one of many tools he's using to cause schisms and fractures. But Christians need to understand that the high and mighty behaviour they're showing in this thread is only feeding Satan's cause. Jesus will take anyone in who truly loves him and accepts his word on their heart.

I've been praying over this myself a lot. And God HAS spoken to me. He's told me I need to listen to the words of a prominent prophet I know and live in the spirit of atonement.

And if we read the old testament, we know that through atonement (sack cloth and ashes) the Jews were able to change God's mind when he was ready to chastise them with great punishments.

This is not an excuse to go and do whatever one desires for gay people, it's an acknowledgment that we must do everything we can to live up to the word but because we do fall short, we need to live repentance through atonement - which is the act of sorrow in our heart for having offended God and works that attempt to make up for it.

So the actual answer to the OP in this thread is that yes, the church should show love to Gay people. No gay marriage is not right and it is sinful. Christian gay people need to live their life in atonement. They can achieve this by living selflessly and without ego and in service to others ahead of themselves. Of course, lots of prayer and repentance goes with this too.

Let the angry, judgemental rebuttals begin ......

Of course the section asserts "where there is prophecy it will fall away"

The past and future are irrelevant, the Spirit is life, those only exist in the mind
