Be not anxious about one thing, but by prayer and supplication let your requests be made known to God

Two things that really helped me in my life...

a. I do not worry about things beyond my control
b. I do not worry about something that has not happened yet
But its easier said that done, I tend to always worry about things beyond my control!

And as for future things, i am terrified of the DENTIST. I'd rather do almost anything than go to the dentist!

Do you got any practical advice on how to STOP worrying about these thinggs?

We look toward being perfect and over coming our weaknesses but that's not the case. At least not this side of heaven.
The word of God tells us that God is our strength in times of weakness.
We all have issues, mental, personal, physical, and we look at them as disabilities ( to use Paul's famous two words)...But God does not see it that way.
In fact to quote David we are wonderfully made. Just right for the potters use.
What is more glorious? To use a person that is capable and able just as they are? Or to use some one that has issue contrary to to the matter? What more a testimony than to see God enable and resolve to carry us through in times of weakness.
There were many saints that went before us that the Lord used in a mighty way. Do you think for one moment they didn't have issues??

It's not by power nor might but it's by my spirit says the Lord.

Jesus said cast your burdens upon him and he will give you rest. Burdens can be described as anxiety. He knows full well what this can do to a person.

Trust in the Lords faithfulness that he will teach you to trust in him. Sometimes our inability to trust the Lord because of our issues are not failures at all but a reminder that in times of weakness he will carry you through again. Selah.

What I mean by panic attacks are those intense moments of fear. Normally for me if they come, I am already tense or at least a little anxious beforehand. For some people it may come out of the blue, seemely out of nowhere. Yesterday I was in traffic and I felt somewhat anxious during that but as I was about to exit and the I could go much faster, I started to feel panicky and got super anxious partly because I needed to use the restroom. And I did also cry out to Jesus that day for help, and I was ok despite how anxious I felt. During a panic attack there are different feelings in your body you might get. Your heart may beat fast, your hands/body may shake some, you might felt lightheaded, your mouth may feel dry etc. And not everyone necessarily will have all these physical sensations and it can be different for different people. Some people may even have a nausea feeling or minor aches. Thankfully I don't have the nausea feeling much at all unless I am sick or maybe eating too much at a time or something.
Ok well thats a situation right there, fast moving traffic. You were afraid...of making the wrong move, to hit someone or someone hitting you? Had you been in a traffic accident before? The attack you described is a stress response has a name fight or flight.

I used to get that too and know sometimes fear can paralyse you. Ok so you cried out to Jesus and you were ok. Good! See He works! How about praying over your car. Before you even head out. Lift it to the Lord and declare its a vessel for His purposes. Whoever drives or rides in it will be safe.

Ok, ask Jesus to show you it's root.
It is most likely centered in fear, and fear is "programmable".

Start seeing yourself through Jesus's eyes....and beyond.
Operate " beyond".
Live in the "beyond"

I had that panicky deal for many, many years.
The worst was public speaking.
My entire being would literally shut down.
The next was shopping at the mall.
I could not wait to get outta there.
(Now all that was as a born again believer)
But then came Jesus. He put definition in my walk. I needed a miracle. He is a game changer.
I am a shop owner. Uneducated. Retarded socially lol.
But now i can public speak because it is no longer I.
No longer I
No longer I
No longer I

It is HIM.
Get a divorce.
Devorce fear.
(I am preaching to myself. If it for you, take it)

I know that the bible encourages us to walk by faith and trust in God with all the heart. These things, trusting in God and walking by faith, just don't come the most natural to me. I deal with anxiety quite frequently and at times panic attacks but these are less often than they used to be, but still not fun if it comes... What advice would you give on how to trust and step out in faith for someone like me who struggles in the area of trust in God?
Victory only comes by Faith in Christ and the Cross. The operation of the Holy Spirit is accomplished through Faith and Grace.

The Believer must understand this, trust in this, believe this, and act upon it, even on a daily basis. This is what Jesus meant by us taking up the Cross daily and following Him (Luke 9:23).

As far as trying to do something as it concerns taking up the Cross daily, we are to do nothing. In fact, it was already done at Calvary some two thousand years ago. On a daily basis, we should reinforce our Faith in Christ and what He has done for us at the Cross (Rom. 6:3-5; 8:2, Gal. 2:20-21, Col. 2:10-15). This is the "Truth" which we must learn, act upon, and continue to act upon, which guarantees the help of the Holy Spirit.

The very moment you begin to trust in something other than the Cross of Christ for your sanctification, for your victory, for your everyday life and living, it is as if you are going straight to where your old man was buried, digging that old man back up, and strapping him to your shoulders. And what was dead will creep into that which is life, and it will destroy you and kill you (the sin nature is now reactivated).

The anxiety that the OP suffers with may be emotional, in which case trusting in Jesus and His finished work will be beneficial, or it may be physical--an imbalance in brain chemistry--for which medical help may be needed as well.

Victory over a broken leg doesn't come "only by faith"; you'll need the bone set and splinted, and you'll need to stay off it for a few weeks while it heals. Faith in Christ will likely give you peace through the process though.

No offense, but that seems like a very superficial thing to get anxious about.. I suspect you've got some underlining problems that might trigger anxiety when you experience a little stress? The need to use a restroom shouldn't put you into panic mode?
I have had a time in the past where I needed to go to the bathroom really bad but there were no bathrooms available and I went behind the trees because I felt about to burst. I think that experience may have traumatized me a bit.

I was actually really slow traffic at first and it seemed strange that when I was able to speed up much more, I got panicky. I have driven on the interstate many times lately and I feel much more confident about my driving on the interstate than before. I have been in an accident before, not on the interstate though, but everyone was ok. Once when on the freeway I was trying to change lanes but I saw another car in the lane coming up fast and I moved it too sharply but into my lane. When I jerked it like that, I swerved and my heart was beating fast afterwards but I was ok and no one got hurt. I have sense learned to be more gentle about changing lanes.

- You cannot overcome your anxiety on your own.
- You cannot trust on your own.
The strength to do these things has to be given to you.

Likewise,
- You cannot see all the sin that is weighing on you.
The ability to see these things has to be given to you.

An analogy I think of is that we become like that towel which was left on the clothes line overnight. The next day someone goes outside and its sunny and warm and they see the towel hanging on the line. They can't really tell how soaked the towel is until they take it off the line and it weighs like a bucket of water. Then they realize boy it must have rained last night while I was sleeping. I didn't know.
And then they begin ringing out the towel and see all the water that it is holding on to. And no matter how many times they ring it out there is still more water (sin) that the stubborn towel is holding on to (hiding).

All we can do is to keep fearing Him, and keep seeking His Word. He will do the rest.

"For you , O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you." - Psalm 9:10

Maybe if you go to the dentist just remind yourself you are only going to be there for a certain amount of time. Sometimes doctor appointments can be long and some may be shorter but however long it takes, it will pass.

I can get anxious in a variety of situations and I deal with it better than I used to while I was still in high school. I believe some anxiety is spiritual because I deal with questioning my salvation. I know the bible says to trust God but I keep on tensing up and have trouble just letting go and leaving whatever burdens with God. I may tell God I give you all my cares and then pick it back up, but I get tired of carrying cares.. I just want to drop it all and not feel burdened by it. Any tips of good Scripture I may should study? Verses about God's love have really touched my heart at times.

Regarding the doubts about your salvation, I'd suggest you study what Scripture says about you as a believer in Jesus Christ. For example...

John 1:12 you have the right to become a child of God
Romans 8:1 there is now no condemnation for you
Ephesians 2:6 you are seated with Christ in the heavenly places

There are many more. :)

Agreed.......However, patience for something we desire is not easy and at times uncomfortable but, a foolish person can choose to agree that, what they want is not gonna happen and run away......Even though the other side will never be rewarding.

I believe that anyone who has a dream and desire will always face opposition and it won't be easy.
The one question we all must ask ourselves, is the temporary obstacles and resistance worth the victory?

Every Believer reading this must understand you can not forsake the Cross for other ways and methods to bring victory and blessings (grace). The operation of the Holy Spirit is accomplished through Faith and Grace (Romans 8:2). Anything and all things by Jesus is blessed and prospers - the Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus (Psalms 1:3; Romans 8:2). Anything and all things by man is cursed and dies - the Law of sin and death (Romans 8:2).

It would seem that you don't believe in sound medical treatment for physical ailments. My condolences to your family.

What Does It Mean To "Fall From Grace"?

Answer: "Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the Law; you are fallen from Grace" (Gal. 5:4).

When one falls from Grace, this stops most of the action of the Holy Spirit on our behalf (Rom. 8:2).

One falls from Grace by placing one's faith in something other than the Cross of Christ. And no matter how beneficial the "something" might be in its own right, this is Faith that God will not recognize (Gal. 5:1-4).

When the Believer places his Faith in anything other than Christ and Him Crucified, such serves to frustrate the Grace of God. The word "frustrate" in the Greek is "atheteo," and means "to set aside, to neutralize or violate, to bring to naught, to reject."

The Holy Spirit works entirely within the framework of the Finished Work of Christ. What Jesus did there, gives Him the legal right to carry forth His Mission, without which He is greatly hindered (1 Cor. 1:18).

The reason why you are divorce is because you proclaim Jesus, but denied the Cross of Calvary where the victory was won. "Spiritual Adultery"

Yes, it is worth the victory.
Then know that you are willing to keep going where many will throw in the towel.

A good quote by Baylor Barbee says:
When my body gets tired, my mind says"This is where winners are made"
When my mind gets tired, my heart says"This is where champions are made"

Since Jesus died such a gruesome death on the cross and rose again, he is able to secure those who believe in him and receive him. If we are weak, he is strong. If we fail and are faithless, the Lord is faithful.
