Daniel 9 - yes:
Dan 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
The AoD is the one who causes abominations to spread resulting in desolation.
The words of Daniel 9:27 are not specifically referring to
the AoD in 'event' terms. The use of the word 'overspreading' along with 'abominations' (plural) demonstrate to us that this is talking about "a collection of sins" (over time and multiple occurrances) rather than a singular 'event' such as is described in the passages in Daniel 11, 12.
In Daniel 11, 12 -
the AoD - in 'event' terms - is what is being described and referred to.
In Daniel 9 - it is something altogether different.
Even if you go to the extent of including
the [real, actual]
AoD (167 B.C.) as being part of the 'abominations' (plural) of Daniel 9:27 - still - "the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet" in the Olivet Discourse
is not referring to the Daniel 9 passage.
It is referring to the Daniel 11 passage - which the Daniel 12 passage [also] makes reference to.
