Your position makes God have sin in Him, then, too. Man was given a choice, and chose wrongly, but God already knew they would do that, since Jesus was not plan "B" but purposed from before the foundation of the world. Life is in Him alone and they chose their way above His.

Man was not created immortal. Nor did Adam and Eve eat from the Tree of Life, which is made available to all now.
In fact they were prevented from eating from the Tree of Life when they were banished from the garden.

Scripture EXPLICITLY states that God alone has immortality.
You said: "Scripture EXPLICITLY states that God alone has immortality."

Then that leaves you out of Eternal Life

I quoted Scripture. It is not something I made up

Then that leaves you out of Eternal Life
How so? When we are placed in Christ, by grace through faith in His shed righteous
blood, we attain to life ever after. This too is plainly stated, and is Christianity 101.

Beloved Sister, i know you are in Christ and have His Eternal Life in you.

You posted a Scripture : "God alone has Immortality"

This actually emphasizes my point in Genesis, before sin.

You do not understand my posts right now.
i said that God has no sin in Him by default and could not create Adam and Eve with Death in them.

Just as God said: everything was GOOD and no sin and therefore No Death.
The day they sinned the died and you need to dwell on what i said and allow the Holy Spirit to reveal it to you.
Scripture cannot lie.
I understand you are saying that since God created man in His image, that makes man immortal, contrary to what Scripture plainly and explicitly states. It is you who do not understand what I am saying: i.e. according to you, man being made in the likeness of God makes man like God (immortal); ergo, since man chose contrarily to God, so could God, making God capable of sin. Obviously your position is wrong.

Well Todd White recently claimed that Jesus actually became a sinner on the cross, not understanding what the Scripture means when it states that He "was made sin" for us. Justin Peters has a YouTube video about that debacle.

So the OP and White probably aren't that far apart in their thinking.

As for Adam and Eve, I believe they were created with the proclivity to sin even before they fell. However, before they ate the fruit, they were "innocent" because their eyes hadn't been "opened" to the knowledge of good & evil yet. That's one reason why the Scripture says that pre-fall, although they were naked, they were "not ashamed". But once they ate the fruit, their eyes were opened and they saw their nakedness. Hence why they tried to hide themselves from God.

I believe that mankind was created with the ability to sin, but the desire to sin was not presented to Adam & Eve until the serpent came along. Maybe it's my human thinking, but I don't believe that man went from not being able to sin from being able to sin solely on the basis of eating from the tree of knowledge of good & evil. The mere fact that God had to warn them to not eat of that tree tells me that He knew the weaknesses that they had. Adam & Eve were created innocent, but not sinless (in the sense that they COULD NOT sin).

amen translation at the moment of death we leave this earthly temple for a better one

“Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:

And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?”
‭‭John‬ ‭11:25-26‬ ‭

And those in their graves like Lazarus or the opening of the graves

“Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;

And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many. …
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭27:50-54‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:44‬ ‭KJV‬‬

and those approaching death like this believer about to die

“And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭23:42-43‬ ‭

Jesus is incapable of lying or giving false hope he himself is the truth. And came to speak the truth to believers about death it’s only a parting from the broke down temple we dwelt in on earth to a better one prepared for us by the lord but we walk by this faith looking into what cannot be seen

that man known as the anonymous thief on the cross one thing is that he is without question with God and was that very day and Christians are given the same hope when facing death

Jesus holds the power of Life and death now and forever and offers it to us in his word he went into death to overcome it and become lord of both living and death by his resurrection in victory over death and he’ll having the power of eternal Life

“I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭1:18‬ ‭KJV‬‬

he’s able to deliver the faithful he’s always been able

By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭11:5‬ ‭

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭5:24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

one day he’s going to translate believers after thier time on earth is done into
His kingdom if we persevere in faith and walk after his kingdom .
Amen

That is the lie the serpent told, yes, but if we distinguish between the different types of death, you will see a difference. Passing out of this life, according to God, is not the death we are to fear, but the second death, reserved for those who refuse God. The second death is when both body and soul are destroyed. Jesus said we would never die. That does not mean we do not pass out of this life. This life is temporary only. However, if you believe what Jesus said, passing out of this life is not death if you are in Him, for He is eternally Self existent.

The serpent is not Jesus. I wonder where you got that idea.
Amen...Jesus is self existent and eternal, as he made crystal clear in John 8:58, and he certainly isn't the serpent!

John 8:58
Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am. ~KJV

I quoted Scripture. It is not something I made up

How so? When we are placed in Christ, by grace through faith in His shed righteous
blood, we attain to life ever after. This too is plainly stated, and is Christianity 101.
In Christ we are also immortal.

"I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."

You know this so I won't rehash it. :) We die once. We may choose to die in Christ and become immortal or we will die at the end of the age forever. Without dying with Him (our "old man dying) we would not be available for adoption to God the Father. The lineage of Adam would still legally be in effect in our body and we would perish.

There was no sin and death before Adam's sin. "..sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned."

Adam and Eve would not have died were it not for sin. Now, they weren't eternal because they had a beginning but they certainly were immortal... until sin.

"God was in Christ reconciling (bringing back to the original standard) the world to Himself." And we see that He grants us immortality by being included in His Son.

The Greek word for immortality is athanasia.

Like here: "..who (God) alone has immortality..."

And, once reconciled, we receive athanasia as well: "For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality (same word:athanasia) ."

This is why our declaration, when redeemed, is the end of the power of Death: we are brought back into God's original intent. "O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?"

Sin and death came into the world by one man but eternal life came into the world by Christ.

Does that make sense?

That's one reason why the Scripture says that pre-fall, although they were naked, they were "not ashamed". But once they ate the fruit, their eyes were opened and they saw their nakedness. Hence why they tried to hide themselves from God.
They saw themselves as spirits clothed in flesh so they were not naked. After the sin an identity shift occurred. They made clothes to cover their flesh because after the eyes of their souls were opened they identified with their flesh and not their spirits.

"So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise..."

John saw that this pattern, to appeal to the flesh of men, remained in the world: "For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world."

On these principles pivot every form of temptation. The enemy is not creative: he just spins the same yarn.

After sin entered the world - not before. Adam and Eve were made in the Image of God = God does not have death in Him = only LIFE.
Amen , Until It came time to take part in death for us to take away its bondage over us our fear of it , and provide life by his promise . Though he was beyond death he partook of death for us because he loves us 🙏 his glory

“But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,

Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham. Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.

For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭2:9-11, 14-18‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭4:15-16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee. As he saith also in another place, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared;

Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;

Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec. Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered,….
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭5:5-11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“For he testifieth, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof. For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.

By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament. But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood.

Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens; Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself. For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭7:17-19, 22, 24-28‬ ‭KJV‬‬

whole new priest , priesthood and law new people from Many nations , with new spirits and hearts to serve God as children through the gospel .

His priesthood for us in heaven is incredibly important his death is really important and his resurrection and his continuing life and intercession for us every day is also incredibly important

there’s a lot in scriptire about this place where he serves as priest now and forever

you may have noticed once or twice that the word for live in english spells Evil backwards but did you know that in the hebrew the word for life also expresses dualism? for example the biblical matriarch Eve is named for life

Genesis 3: 20And Adam named his wife Eve, because she would be the mother of all the living.

Eve's name means life and you may have noticed that Eve's name is palindromic meaning the word is the same forwards and backwards. this is not just true in english either in Hebrew Eve's name is Havvah which is also a palindrome.

the tree of knowledge of good and evil expresses knowledge of dualism much like the experience of life itself. life isnt just good or evil but encompasses both good and evil. and what happens when one lives? they die by default! so life is paradoxical or good and evil. life is the tree of knowledge in itself. if you live eventually you will die. this is what God means when he says if you eat of that tree you will surely die because if you live you die!
The tree of life is not the same tree as the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

The tree of life is not the same tree as the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
“And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden,

and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.”
