Christ is here reigning with the believers. We are the temple. He will put and on the last day the end of time.
The thousand years according to the signified language of Revelation represents a unknown . The work of rightly dividing the parable must be performed.
It would seem many miss or ignore the prescriptions needed to rightly divide. If we literalize the parables as foundation of the teaching then we can invent any kind of "things to come" .

And that has NOTHING TO DO WITH THE LAST TRUMPET JUDGEMENT OF REVELATION.
There are TWO FIELDS of Thought, that Both, has noting to do with the Last Trumpet Judgement.
Hear is my logical favorite, that it is the fulfillment of what is known as the FEAST OF TRUMPETS: The trumpet Call has been known as the LAST TRUMP for over 2000 years.
This trumpet Call fills my heart with Joy, from the first time that Heard it blown, and even now I was crying listening to it.
IN THE SECOND Possibility It is said it is the LAST of blast in the end times, from the SILVER TRUMPET used to CALL THE BELIEVERS TOGETHER. It has some merit, but I don't think so.

1 The LORD spoke to Moses:
2 “Make two trumpets of hammered silver to summon the community and have the camps set out.
3 When both are sounded in long blasts, the entire community is to gather before you at the entrance to the tent of meeting.
4 However, if one is sounded, only the leaders, the heads of Israel’s clans, are to gather before you.
5 “When you sound short blasts, the camps pitched on the east are to set out.
6 When you sound short blasts a second time, the camps pitched on the south are to set out. Short blasts are to be sounded for them to set out.
7 When calling the assembly together, you are to sound long blasts, not short ones.
8 The sons of Aaron, the priests, are to sound the trumpets. Your use of these is a permanent statute throughout your generations.
9 “When you enter into battle in your land against an adversary who is attacking you, sound short blasts on the trumpets, and you will be remembered before the LORD your God and be delivered from your enemies.
10 You are to sound the trumpets over your burnt offerings and your fellowship sacrifices and on your joyous occasions, your appointed festivals, and the beginning of each of your months. They will serve as a reminder for you before your God: I am Yahweh your God.”

That would be turning things upside down taking away the understanding of the Potter. . The opening statement in the Book of Revelation gives us the proper tools for rightly dividing the parables as the signified understanding .
Will you obey it and do what it says and rightly divide the signified tongue of God? Or just focus on the historical value and lose the gospel understanding, The hidden manna spoken of in chapter 2 .
Not one reason a person world take the allegorical gospel understanding and literalize it. The commandment or law of faith is without parable Christ spoke not. Not the other way around. . upside down .

Using the temporal things like time, keys, chains, bottom less pits, serpents , souls with no heads in order to give the eternal signified understanding in the parable .
2 Corinthians 4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
Are eternal, not a thousand years, no literal key or chain .
No mixing of the two today (The gospel) no sabbath rest, today or under the sun .
