About Ishmael ~ "He will be a wild donkey of a man; his hand will be against everyone and
everyone's hand against him, and he will live in hostility toward all his brothers."
Genesis 16:12
Now take that to the next level. Not only did that apply to the flesh descendants of Hagar, it also applied to the Jews who rejected Christ throughout the Old Testament.

Gal 4:24 (KJV) Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar.

Do you not think racism resides in all people regardless of skin color?

Yes, May the Lord deliver us from this.
Yes racism resides in all people regardless of skin color.

I cannot speak for other continents. You said it's an association of which I agree. But we don't associate/relate with the white Jesus that is being portrayed in my country.

How is he being betrayed in your country ?
never mind :)

That may be true of the unsaved people in the world but I do not believe racism exists in the body of Christ.
Does sin exist? Then racism probably exists as well, shouldn’t, but probably does.

I think it means more like He wasn't like King Saul , a head taller that the rest and that he had to get 5 pounds of hair, haircuts every year .. As in Sean Connery wishes he wasn't so plain and looked like more me .. LOL, I believe Isaiah, just not the hear say from what I deem unreliable sources

It doesn't really matter what any of us actually think since not a single one of us was there. But you seem butthurt for Christ to be so unbearable. Are you in love with the picture of Jesus on your wall or the Jesus who DIED for your SINS?

I like that.

Pharaoh oppressed the Israelites because they were increasing in number. He did not want to loose his power as it had a lot of impact on his self esteem.

I think insecurity is destroying humanity. Oppression is a sign that the perpetrator is simply intimidated. We find our identity in power, wealth etc and cannot risk loosing it, hence the oppression, slavery, racism etc.

Insecurity is very dangerous and is the cause of many crimes.

People thumbing their nose at God is what is destroying humanity. Just like the Bible says will happen. What do you know :cautious:

People are oppressed by the devil. Anywhere you find oppression you will find the devil at work. Is there a nation more oppressive than China? The Communist government there is totally anti-God and oppresses the Chinese people to the point that life has no meaning.

In this country, the US, we still have freedom of religion and we are not oppressed. However, there are forces at work to try and change that but the President of this country is not a Communist or a godless dictator. We can speak against the government here and not be thrown in jail or hauled off in the night and made to disappear.

I do not find my identity in power and probably most on this forum do not find their identity in power either. Perhaps that is something that your country actually does?

I find my identity in Christ as most here most likely do and we long for peace but that peace only comes with the Lord Jesus Christ. No person or idea can bring the peace that will give rest to peoples souls.

Racism is a heart thing, but sin is a flesh thing. It’s hard to stop listing after the things of this world but it’s very easy to love other people. It’s one of the fruits of the spirit.

Why would a saved person think his “space suit” makes him better than another person in a different color “space suit”?

I think the body of Christ is much much smaller than you think it is.

So you believe the BLM that are dragging white people out of cars and beating them, and ganging up on white people and beating them and in myriads of videos beating white people will see Jesus as white? Or of the other racists telling others that nearly all whites are racist, which in itself is plain racism?

No, that isn't going to be what happens. These racists will still be racists until they die, or get converted.

For the record I don't believe racists are believers, nor do I think seeing Jesus in any color will change them.

It is the Gospel that transforms, Romans 1:16; 2 Corinthians 3:18, not seeing Jesus in ones favorite skin color.

You've got some ANGER in YOU!

The Blacks in America are percentage wise smaller than the Hispanics. 84% of America is White. even if there was a legit way to split the idealisms down the middle that still possibly leaves 42% of White people being racist. Even if the entire Black Community of 13% were 100% racist, the 42% of Whites who are most likely racist still outnumber them.

Now, I am not condoning what is happening either way here. But the TRUTH of the matter is, WHITE police have locked so many Black men up their children have grown up without fathers. When we witness Blacks who have good jobs, live in a nice home, made something legit of themselves, the majority of those HAD FATHERS!

We are dealing with Children who raised themselves. What else do you expect from them?

As someone who is on the side of the LAW, I find most police officers are unfit to do any job! The only way to change the system is to change those who ARE the system!

Since 1980's Germany has had 30 Police killings.
Most of Europe has had on average 20 this year.
The USA has already killed over 400 people this year alone.
We got a PROBLEM and it ain't the Hispanics or the Blacks!

Are you in favor of disbanding the police?

Do you know that Thomas Jefferson wrote how we should all be our own police. When we are able to govern our own land and home, NOBODY messes with you. They know better!

Do you know it was the WEALTHY who formed POSSE's to go after those they claimed committed crimes?
The Police are the result of WEALTHY WHITE slobs who had nothing better to do with their money than to use it against the POOR!

To answer you, it's TOO LATE to disband them. But we can form new training recruits and every current officer can be fired. I think that would be the best place to start!

They would meet their maker at the end of their earthly life. That Their maker would appear to them as a person they unjustly judged is just a casual speculation. Not to be taken as as a truth but a human solution to a problem the solution of which is not revealed.
One can repent of being a racist yet still suffer the mind of a racist.

I want you to see something:
This took place LAST WEEKEND in ALABAMA!

1593294197618.png

This was the picture NASCAR took of the NOOSE found in Bubba Wallace's Garage.

See how low it is hanging?
It's next to the light switch behind it.
That means EVERYONE saw it!

But 15 FBI Agents claim t's been hanging there in this same position since LAST YEAR!

Those in the SYSTEM are corrupt and NEED to be REMOVED!

Oh somebodies gonna fill that void and mess with us. Below is what’s going on in Minneapolis.

As the city of Minneapolis moves to dismantle its police force, Minnesota state Rep. Steve Green on Tuesday stated the obvious that virtually everyone else has been tiptoeing around and pretending isn’t there: “What you’re looking at, in my humble opinion, is communism moving into Minneapolis and St. Paul.” And not just Communism, but the Leftist/Islamic alliance. Green asserted that Antifa and Muslim organizations plan to “police Minneapolis under Muslim rule.” Those who scoff at such a notion simply aren’t paying attention to recent developments.

That night the LORD appeared to him [Isaac] and said, "I am the God of your father Abraham. Do not be afraid, for I am with you; I will bless you and will increase the number of your descendants for the sake of my servant Abraham." Genesis 26:24

There beside him stood the LORD and said: "I am the LORD, the God of your father Abraham and the
God of Isaac. I will give you and your descendants the land on which you are lying."
Genesis 28:13

The LORD would speak to Moses face to face, as a man speaks with his friend. Then Moses would
return to the camp, but his young aide Joshua son of Nun did not leave the tent.
Exodus 33:11

So Jacob called the place Peniel, saying, “It is because I saw God face to face, and yet my life was spared.”
Genesis 32:30
My understanding is that they did not see God as He actually was, but a representation of Him or God showed them some aspect of Himself but not everything in totality.

1Kings 18:12 After the earthquake came a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper. 13 When Elijah heard it, he pulled his cloak over his face and went out and stood at the mouth of the cave. Then a voice said to him, “What are you doing here, Elijah?”

Exodus 33:18 And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory. 19 And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy. 20 And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live. 21 And the Lord said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock: 22 And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by: 23 And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.

Jacob wrestled with God in the form of a man/angel. But he still saw the incident as seeing God's face. Persons will say, they spend time with God or they felt His presence. But they did not actually see God Himself.

Genesis 32: 24 And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day.
25 And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him.
26 And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.
27 And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob.
28 And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.
29 And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there.
30 And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.

Other examples I can think of: God speaking to Moses through the burning bush and God speaking to Balaam through his donkey.

Rom 13:1 (KJV) Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
