Now here's the thing;
IF you ask a child from any religion to read Math 24;14-22, and then asked them if they see great tribulation...they will say YES ! Then if you ask them how to survive that...they will say it says "flee to the mountains".

That is because a young child will not know enough to cross-reference and compare other scriptures. The information is directed at Israel. If you will look at the context, reference is made to the setting up of the abomination within the coming temple, which Jesus is quoting from in Dan.9:27. The warning is for those in Jerusalem or anywhere in that area to flee to the mountains of Judea. The entire context is a warning to the Jewish people in Jerusalem at the time when this even takes place. In further support of this Jesus also says "pray that your flight will not take place on the Sabbath" which again would be in reference to the Jews in Israel.

So...NO CHURCH will teach that, BECAUSE they are CITY CHURCHES and rely on the 666 tithe... from enslaved CITY folk.

No, because if anything it would be because your claim is not supported by scripture regarding end-time events. The word of God is not telling individuals within the church to flee to Judea. It is telling those of Israel in Jerusalem to flee when they see the abomination standing in the holy place within the temple. This synonymous with Rev.12:6, 14 when the woman/Israel flees out into the wilderness where she will be cared for 1260 days, which is that last 3 1/2 years of the seven year period, with Christ returning at the end. The church will have been gathered at least 3 1/2 years prior to this event.

So we disagree...no problem.

Here is what you disregard. You in your wisdom disregard...JESUS.
Did He not convert JEW first then Gentile. Yes he did.
So who is the Nation of JUDAH today ...if not believers in our lord, the lion from the TRIBE of JUDAH ???

Are the Jews who reject JESUS our Lord's TRIBE of JUDAH today ?
Of course NOT. BUT...Messianic Jews and Messianic Gentiles ARE.

The prophesied end time "Israel of God" is believers in Jesus. Jew and Gentile.
The ONLY hope for Jews is our Lord Jesus, AND IT IS NO COINCIDENCE this is blooming like never before.

Salvation is to BELIEVERS in the lion from the tribe of JUDAH.
The scepter will never pass from JUDAH.

Do you pretrib believers realize you will be blood guilty by continuing to try to convince people to just stay "eating and drinking and marrying" IN SATANS EVIL WORLD... that WILL be destroyed.
"Where the corpses are...there the eagles will be gathered together".

People who love satan's world....ALL love the convenience of the pretrib rapture LIE.

Yes "flee to the mountains" does apply AGAIN to those in Judea today. (Israel)
AND it applies to ALL BELIEVERS wherever they are worldwide, as our Lord will rule ZION... WORLDWIDE.

Do you dispute that satan's world today is BABYLON ??? Do tell please. (We waiting).

So...does "Get OUT of BABYLON my people (worldwide) ONLY mean Jews in ISRAEL as you say ????
Rev 18 ALL h 4...AND while you read ALL of Ch 18...DO TELL who the whore of Babylon is today !!!
IF NOT...ALL RELIGIONS TODAY.

As for me...it is my duty to just continue showing the blessings from the end time ANOINTED PROPHETS.
NEVER will I believe man made manipulation. NEVER .

As has been posted numerous times, there was maintenance on the site and stated that posts disappearing and other issues would be a problem.
Not everything is some fruitcake conspiracy.

Hello Enocish!

Rapture? I'm new here but some one update me. Please

"Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. - John 14:1-3

Above is the Lord's promise to go to the Father's house (heaven) and prepare places for believers. Then he is going to return and gather the church, dead and living, to take us back to the Father's house.

"For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. Therefore encourage one another with these words." - 1 Thes.4:16-18

"Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed." 1 Cor.15:51-52

The two scripture above are the detail accounts of when the Lord comes to gather his church in fulfillment of John 14:1-3. The Lord will descend and the dead in Christ will rise first, after that we who are still alive will be caught up with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. He will then take the entire church back to the Father's house.

The word "Harpazo" in 1 Thes.4:17 is defined as "snatched up, force suddenly exercised, caught up." The word "rapture" is from the Latin "rapare" which means the same as the Greek "Harpazo," to be caught up or snatched up.

those are scriptures in the bible. And 1st cor 15: 51-52, suggest that Christians don't go to heaven when they die. That they are waiting in the grave for his return. That would make 2 cor 5:8 a false statement to be absent in the body is to be present with the lord. Or maybe it's the other way a round. May be the dead in Christ being raised is a false statement or maybe one of them is taken out of context. Or maybe............. I could do this all night. But none of this explains what rapture is. I tried to look that up by the way and it's not even in the bible. I do study from the King James. That would explain why it's a new concept. I think I have heard

Now 1 thes 4:17 now that makes makes more sence. After our souls leave the body and go on to be with the lord, then there is no one left but we who are alive
still need more explanation. I thought when the lord returns the only ones left in the church are going to be his elect. The rest of the world will be whoring after the anti Christ. And they will be delivered up to the anti Christ along with the two witnesses.

Hello Enocish,

those are scriptures in the bible. And 1st cor 15: 51-52, suggest that Christians don't go to heaven when they die.

Here is 1 Cor.15:51-52

"Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed—in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed."

1 Cor.15:15-52 is referring to the same information as 1 Thes.4:13-17. According to 1 Thes.4:16-18, the dead in Christ will rise first, i.e. their bodies will be reanimated in their immortal and glorified bodies. Then immediately following that, those who are still alive will be changed into their immortal and glorified bodies and will be caught up with those who will have just previously resurrected. The reference to "we will not all sleep" is saying that when the Lord appears we will not all be dead, but those who are still alive will simply be changed and caught up with them.

That would make 2 cor 5:8 a false statement to be absent in the body is to be present with the lord.

The scripture above that you provided, as well as Philippians 1:23, is speaking about those who die in Christ. When a believer dies their spirit departs and goes to be in the presence of Christ in spirit form, where 1 Cor.15:51-52 is speaking about the bodily resurrection of believers.

To be clear, when a believer in Christ dies their spirit departs from the body and goes to be in the presence of the Lord. When it's time for the church to be gathered, then the Lord will bring with him all of those spirits and their bodies will rise and their spirits will be reunite with their resurrected immortal and glorified bodies.

Immediately after that, those in Christ who are still alive when the above happens, will be changed and caught up with them to meet the Lord in the air. Then according to the Lord's promise, he will take the entire group (the entire church) back to the Father's house to those places that he said he was going to prepare for us in John 14:1-3.

"For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first."

The first part of the scripture above, is referring to the bodily resurrection of those who have died in Christ. Just as Christ rose bodily, so these will also rise bodily. See below for those who are still alive after the above takes place:

"
After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage one another with these words."

Immediately after the dead in Christ are resurrected bodily, then those in Christ who are still alive will simply be changed into their immortal and glorified bodies and that because they are not dead in order to be resurrected and so they will just be changed into their immortal and glorified bodies and caught up with those who will have just previously resurrected.

I hope this sheds more light on this subject.

Quite a few references.
First off it is short for "being caught up"

It happened to Elijah,Enoch,Jesus, and in the future to the church and those that died in Jesus.

For a bonus, the two witnesses in rev,as well as the group of "ripe fruit" in rev 14.

All examples of " raptured"

It would appear from this post that you are thoroughly confused about this matter. So let's call this event the Resurrection/Rapture instead of just the Rapture. Here is what needs to be understood.

1. When a saint dies physically, his soul and spirit goes directly to Heaven (present with the Lord) but his body goes into the grave (absent from the body).

2. At the Resurrection/Rapture, the Lord brings all the souls and spirits of the ones who died in Christ and unites them with their glorious resurrected bodies. This happens first, but is immediately followed by the Rapture.

3. At the Rapture, the living saints at that time are perfected fully (body, soul, and spirit) and also given glorious and glorified bodies.

4. Now both the resurrected saints and the transformed saints are TRANSLATED to Heaven with Christ, just as Enoch was translated. So the living saints at the Rapture do not experience death, just as it says of Enoch that he did not see death.

Jesus used Lot and noah to describe his coming.
Both prejudgement events.
NEITHER have a post judgement gathering.

Nowhere is the rapture taught in scripture to be postjudgement..

If he didn't get a glorified body than that might mean that he still has an appointment with death. The same holds true for Elijah. The bible specifically states that he is coming back to earth one day.

Rev 14 has a gathering during the Gt.
That alone destroys all but a pretrib rapture

The dead in Christ rise first.

1Thes 4 PRECEEDS ANY gathering to heaven.

Again ONLY a pretrib rapture fits

Jesus,at the last supper told the disciples he would recieve them in heaven where they would drink wine with him.

IOW their dead bodies would be raised and they would have the ability to eat and drink.

Postrib rapture can not happen.

Even the last supper points to business in heaven.

Postrib rapture thoughly debunked

Where will postrib rapture go at this point?

The rapture is pretrib.
Pretribbers had it right all the time.

Note that historicists and post tribs NEVER BRING UP Israël. Becoming a nation mid 1900.
Uh huh
