The babes on Christ belong to him also this is important a warning and also a beckon

Yes, and it's important to help the babes grow up in correct understanding. Paul came to preferring to die and be with Christ, but he knew what was important to our Lord and firstborn brother, and to our Father who had him here for a reason:

21 For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
22 But if I live on in the flesh, this will mean fruit from my labor; yet what I shall choose I cannot tell.
23 For I am hard pressed between the two, having a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better.
24 Nevertheless to remain in the flesh is more needful for you.
25 And being confident of this, I know that I shall remain and continue with you all for your progress and joy of faith,
(Phil. 1:21-24 NKJ)

progress = a movement forward to an improved state, progress, advancement, furtherance (BDAG).

God is working to raise all of His children from infancy to maturity and beyond. This is part of His Salvation Plan that some seem to not understand. Perpetual infancy reveals a problem in professed faith.

Informative youre a blessing and n many ways ….any more new panels I can raid ? 😁
I am mostly sort of on a designing hiatus. Since early-to-mid November actually, although I did both a Christmas panel and a new year's panel, and one other new one mid-February. I have tinkered a bit with some older ones, too, improving them. I understand photoshop a bit better now than when I first started in 2018, and have way more and better ephemera to work with than I did at the beginning. Fonts are important, too. I don't think I have ever used Times New Roman as a font on any of my panels. Boring! LOL. I have added hundreds and hundreds of fonts to my device to select from, and like to use different ones, but even so, many I have downloaded are not really suitable because although they look nice at first glance, they may be difficult to read, and legibility is important.

There are also two types of fonts. One is called Open Type, and the other is called True Type. I read up on this and thought I should be using the True Type at first, but I was often disappointed in how slightly blurry the fonts looked. Part of that could have been because I was not designing large files at first. Any who, years into all this I read up on the two font types again and realized I was using the wrong one! LOL. I should be using Open Type Fonts. So sometimes to update an older panel I may just change the font from one type to the other. I also understand better how to make the font stand out more from the background, so sometimes it is just a matter of doing that.

Yes I totally agree with what you’re saying for sure. I think this is a struggle at least for me it is but also a good goal

“And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, in meekness instructing those that oppose themselves;

if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; and that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.”

I am open to having people give me verse suggestions for a panel. But I must insist that being open to it does not guarantee I will design a panel based on someone's suggestion. Heehee. But I do always appreciate your feedback, and constructive criticism from others also. One person used to tell me that my early panels were too busy. Busy busy busy! LOL. Okay. But that did not change how I did things. Over time my designs improved in a number of ways. That does include them not being so "busy." I especially like designing panels that include a verse or two concerning some very contentious issue. Do you have a suggestion for me, brother?

You went to kindergarten. You should know how to paste. Copying is just what the other kids did from your test paper. I think you know more than you are letting on.

Yes I notice often a great variety on the font , and also artwork style I guess sometimes it’s like Picasso style other times it has a whole different look .

i figured out how to do a scroll on my screen saver now so every time is a different one when I open this . Always a good scripture and great color schemes you should have been a painter or something back on the old days I mean lol when people still painted stuff

i feel you share a lot of spirit on those panels and read a poem the other day and really felt like I could have written tbat at some point In life just wonderful to have met sister you are appreciated

Thank you, brother Pilgrim. We could also call you fellow Pilgrim... .:D. ...
as we traverse this dimension to greater things all to the glory of God.

Well, I was artistically inclined in my youth, drawing and painting a lot, and also very fortunate
to have God provide me with a career in the art field. I never knew "what I wanted to be when
I grew up," but I had a very long list of things that did not interest me in becoming LOL.
My electives through high school were mostly art related.

I turned 20 in college (studying art, what else LOL), which is where I discovered my love
of photographic darkroom work. Thereafter, that became the one thing I wanted to do.
I started my first job at a photo lab on the day of my 21st birthday. I had applied a number
of times, but they kept telling me that I had no experience. In the meantime, they had hired
a number of people who all quite shortly after starting, so they finally gave me a chance.
I was not a believer in those days, but I did always credit "the Spirit of the universe" for that job.
I have worked in only three labs over the last almost fifty years since then. 40+ at my current job.

That’s awesome to end up doing something you love that allows you to express your creativity amen

yeah heck I think we all travel different roads to get to Jesus. It when we do we stick around and don’t keep looking and searching technically he is the spirit of the universe lol

those broken roads we travel aren’t easy and never a straight line but looking back you can sure see Jesus holding us up and bearing us along as we stumble and fall until we get our balance and find our way .

keep shining bright !!

Thank you, that is very sweet of you to say. You know I have had detractors LOL and sometimes I wonder why I have
stopped designing, but my process is very organic, and I trust that God is up to something still. Heh. Isn't He always?

When I played guitar over the course of many years, I would sometimes take breaks from that, and
when I picked it up again, something was allowed to change in some poor habit I had developed.
I don't know if that will happen in this instance, but one can always hope for improvement!

Yeah I’ve never heard this before and not sure Id understand what it meant lol but that doesn’t mean I disagree or anything just don’t have those type of brain cells operating anymore if I ever did have
Some good eschatology discussions are the best resources for some of this. God has the ability to create new brain cells and connections within the billions of neurons within. Ask Him for understand if interested. Be forewarned that His rewiring can be a pit painful at times. But well-worth it in the end...

Or, just stay where you have the interest. Paul provided some good instruction on this also:

(Phil. 3:13-16 NKJ) 13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead,
  • I haven't reached the goal yet (remember, this is Paul saying this)
14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
  • I strive forward towards His goal for us
15 Therefore let us, as many as are mature, have this mind; and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal even this to you.
  • Paul and other were already mature Christians, so the first goal is infancy to maturity (see Heb5:12-6:3 for some good info on maturity)
16 Nevertheless, to the degree that we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us be of the same mind.
  • Don't go backwards. Maintain the march forward with those with the same mindset.
Paul will go on to explain that those who do not do this are enemies of the cross of Christ.

There is other Scripture that I'd have to look for that says it is Christ that controls the pace of our growth. He knows us. He has a plan for each of us. On the one hand we can create a lot of pressure on ourselves to get to the goal part from Him. On the other hand we can sit back and think He has no goal for us (Heb5 is writing to such as these). The rest in Him is to follow Him and not try to lead Him.

Yes all good advice brother , I’m comfortable and called to be a commoner among the sheep . I’m in my seventies now so I’m not sure how much more changing I’m going to do.

Im just someone who believes the gospel the Lord preached who hopes he’ll save me in the end so I myself press forward with my heart and strength what else is there to do at this point but stay my course and not lose faith ?

If I can be even a shoe shiner or someone’s servant in the kingdom I’ll be well supplied with joy forever . If I were given the power to judge anyone else I’d just look for some way to save them like Jesus does so I’ll leave that part to him and hope my day is a good one when I answer the judge

sure the saints will judge the world by the way they live thier life in Christs judgments they aren’t called to judge one another however that’s I think where people make the mistake sometimes . There’s really clear doctrine that we’re supposed to first learn and follow and them well have judgement Jesus came to give us that judgement we have to first follow the word
I'd disagree with you a bit here. Jesus's more complete instruction was to first remove the log from our own eye so we could see more clearly. He also said to judge with righteous judgment. Paul's continuing instruction was to rebuke the Corinthian Church for treating a the needed congregational judiciary so lightly and he correlated the lack of ability to judge with the lack of wisdom. We can see how Paul judged a sinful Christian in Corinth and judged that he should be put out of the congregation. He follows up on this in 2Cor. This follows the instruction of Jesus in Matt18 about the process of dealing with sin against one another. The Scripture so many use about 2 or more being assembled in His name is in the context of this judiciary process in the assembly and is legal language from the OT and Jesus says He'll be right there with those final judges in their decision.

I see this judgment issue among Christians as another example of us not knowing who we are in Christ and thereby defeating ourselves and what we're here for in Christ in Spirit. We have in us what is the seed of eternity and we've stunted our growth in unbelief and perpetual infancy.

Yes, there are warnings about judging and there is even a point where Paul speaks of not judging himself beyond a point and leaving it to Jesus Christ. But not judging at all is not Biblical in Christ. It'[s part of the reason for the free-for-all in and fall of many churches.
