I would Agree, but, NO ONE here, has the Right to assume Jesus did nothing, when John shows us it's possible He could have. If Some believe God creates people for Hell, you really cannot go wrong here, because, they've already MOCKED God!
Was that you a while back who showed interest when I mentioned a question-and-answer format
radio program (Narrow Path) I listen to? Anywho, I really enjoy his show, he is not an extremist in any
of his views, while holding to the truth of what Scripture states. Yesterday I caught part of something
he said about why he is not a Calvinist... and as I have heard a few here say that spiritually dead people
cannot hear, therefore people are saved, regenerated, justified etc etc and all that jazz even before they
come to saving faith... gosh, some say even receiving the grace of God is a work and nullifies God's grace
.:oops::censored::rolleyes:.
But I digress. The verse he mentioned was Jesus speaking, saying (I started this panel right after hearing this):

So Jesus says the dead hear, and come to life as a result, while Calvinists say, the spiritually dead cannot hear or respond to anything.

PS~ the panel is not finished yet...

If you would like to listen to Steve’s live broadcasts, but do not live in an area where it is broadcast, you may do so by visiting the Radio Program page. There you will find a links to listen to either the “live” broadcasts, or to the archived programs. They are also found at Matthew713.com & Theos.org/media. It is possible to subscribe to the podcast of the show, which is found here: tnp.theeggbeater.net.

Am I allowed to post this?
Their Website isn't working but these connections are.

The second is Jesus refusing to heal "Little James" of his bad leg and limp. This is bad no matter how you slice it. Jesus NEVER refused to heal anyone who came to Him, and I think sends a very bad message to those who aren't very Biblically literate.
Ok I understand how it could be taken that way. I’m a reasonable guy on stuff like that and it could be confusing to some who haven’t read the Bible. Perhaps it would have been wise to be left out. Though even at the start of every episode There is a disclaimer about viewers should consult the gospels. The way I have interpreted it is , not necessarily that he refused to heal but more or less maybe Jesus alluded to the idea of “My grace is sufficient for you” as he told Paul latter. also there could have been a suggestion that “little James “ heart wasn’t asking with right motives. Keeping in mind Jesus isn’t after external works so much as internal heart transformation . Jesus seems to be looking for those with faith as he is healing. The faith of the Roman Centurion (astonishes ) Jesus. I believe he also often tells those who he has healed “your faith has made you well”. There is something deeper that Jesus is after I believe than simply using Healings and miracles to simply prove His diety. I believe Jesus is giving people a glimpse of the Kingdom to come further described in Rev 21.

His show actually begins in 1 hour and 6 minutes.
I like the way it opens, with recognizable whistling...

I am not sure if it starts at 2 or 2:30 here; I listen on my phone (while at work, and also
at home) but am not always at my work station where my phone is; my laptop in in the
lunchroom. Yesterday was a day off... hey, he looks quite young! Also, sometimes the
programs shuffle a bit, although most are at a steady time. Ravi was removed post mortem,
although Charles Stanley, Adrian Rogers,J. Vernon McGee and likely others who have passed
on remain. I like Dr. Sam Owusu, too! He took some getting used to LOL

Pizza
I was thinking of that song this morning .:D. In relation to sharing my baked goodies... .;):D

I like making pizza, too, but have not for a while...

I use the same basic recipe for my fruit loaf as I do for the pizza crust; it is very basic and easy to modify .:)

Again I suggest you make use of a search engine.
Dallas Jenkins will continue to make excuses but Chrisitans are catching on and the show is being boycotted. Amen!

I have regained some faith in Americans at long last they are standing up to false teachers, fakes and imposters.

I’d be ok with some video responses from pastors around the globe. Here is what one I follow had to say. Let the Pastors weigh in on this controversy.

This guy is trying desperately to walk a tightrope and not offend anyone. There are a couple of important things he doesn't seem to understand: 1) The Chosen, Inc. isn't a religious production; it's not a Christian ministry; and it's not a church. It's a for-profit corporation. Dallas Jenkins has made this very clear. 2) He seems to think a little wrong is okay so long as it's mixed with a little right. How this guy can claim to be a pastor and say things like this just boggles mind. Yeah, no one's perfect; but not everyone is out there claiming to make a show about the "authentic Jesus" that's anything but. It's the whole "let us do evil that good may come" argument all over again. He says well, at least it's not as bad as x, y, or z. Seriously?

Well that’s your opinion of him, he has people who love his preaching and just as many who hate him so I figured that’s a great balance for debate🤷‍♂️. I’m not posting for you to attack his Character. I’m suggesting for others to post pastor videos in response as Pastor Shane has. I’m choosing to bless the conversation by being first to throw a pastors opinion out there. So if you have a better Pastoral video addressing it by all means, fire away.

And while, they are so engaged in a stupid television series battle, the Alphabet People, are manipulating and stealing our children to Trans and Genderism all because we pick STUPID BATTLES to participate in!!

Yay, for the Morons!

And NO, I did not say Mormons

I wonder, if we had direct face to face contact with God, if He thinks the Chosen Series, is a BIGGER threat to Christianity, than the Alphabet People, stealing our Children and redefining Gender, to OPPOSE God?

I don't need a pastor to speak for me.

Therein lies the problem.
is it tightrope though? Or is it balance a vigilance of the heart and where our heart moves on these divisive issues ? understanding the human heart can be swerved into cold, rigid and formal, knowing scriptures, being straight as a gunbarrel theologically but being empty of the spirit and of love inside, which is just as off course and sinning as giving license to sin.Satan really doesn’t care how he gets you to sin. Weather by sexual immorality or by spiritual pride.

“You shall be careful therefore to do as the Lord your God has commanded you. You shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left.”
‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭5‬:‭32‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“Let your eyes look directly forward, and your gaze be straight before you. Ponder the path of your feet; then all your ways will be sure. Do not swerve to the right or to the left; turn your foot away from evil.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭4‬:‭25‬-‭27‬ ‭ESV‬‬
